She’s an amazing female singer! My favorite 3 are Anita Baker, Sade, and Gloria Estefan. I love the heart and soul in all of these 3 great female singers!

I grew up 55 miles from Russia in a tiny eskimo town Wales and as a 8 year old Inupiaq eskimo kid i knew her lyricism was tremendous, her heart and joy come even in her saddest songs 💙😁
This is my singer right here, I grew up on her music thanks to my dad playing her albums around the house in the 80s when I was a little kid. My mom is a big fan of Anita music as well, each time I hear Anita voice I get goosebumps.
She's one of the few people that's never had anything bad reported about her. Ms. Baker's vocals speak for her. No need to dance nor dress like a whore nor anything else to please people. My peers used to call me old for listening to Anita Baker. They were wrong as usual. She's straight classy.
Luther did have some problems with her during their tour back in the 80s. Jill also recently had some problems with her. It seems she was and still is very hard to work with (Anita).

One of my absolute favorite songs by Ms. Baker! My dad and I saw her Vegas show on 5/23/22. It was simply amazing! Her voice is still in impeccable shape for being 64-years-old. Anita can still hit the high notes with ease. She performed all of her acclaimed hits but I do wish she would’ve performed this song. Yes, it’s one of her later hits (2004) but it still would’ve been awesome to hear her perform it.
This album is nostalgic. I remember rushing home from work in 2004 to purchase the CD along with Fantasia's debut album as well well as Destiny child's "Destiny Fulfilled" album. I was the first in line. I'm happy to say that my partner and family makes me understand the deeper meaning of this song.❤☮🥰
