It makes me sad...listening to this...just how I can relate...how all through my elementary school life I was alone...then through middle school I was ridiculed because of what I did...but I'm glad I was listening to this song one day...because just by chance that girl walked by and she sat by me, asking what I was listening to. I just held out the ear bud and she put it in...I don't know why...but I started crying...we were friends first...now she is the love of my life. I'm not Alone anymore.

One must learn to be happy with one's self in order to be happy with another.. don't take life lessons from a song... it's art, art is subjective. If you can't be happy by yourself, what makes you think someone else would be happy with you... Do not (I repeat) DO NOT sing this song to a girl you like in hopes of her falling in love with you or cheering her up. She'll smile, she'll say "aw that's so sweet", but ultimately she wants a person who has their life together and has a plan...
