Dwight and Angela are one of my favorite couples from Office. Despite all the breakups, indecisiveness on Angela's part, their cheating with each other, and all that I think they really work together and compliment each other. Season 9 was quite weak but I love Jim and Dwight's relationship there and Angela and Dwight getting together for good. And the finale, omg, I cried so much. The best show❤️

I've never understood why the test came back negative at the lab. After all, Dwight was paying for it, not Angela, so they would give the results to him. It doesn't make sense. I also don't get why Angela is poor after her divorce. The state senator cheated on her, humiliated her on TV, and he has money. He should be paying child support. This, too, is never explained.

it's very possible that they had a prenup written before the marriage that left angela with nothing. it's pretty common when a wealthy person marries someone who doesn't have much. alternatively, a baby takes a TON of money to take care of- could be that she was getting child support, and it just didn't cover his expenses (+her gazillion cats)

It was explained on The Office Ladies Podcast that Dwight took a diaper from Jim and Pam’s baby. If you recall, they brought their kids in for a portrait the same day as Angela and The (State) Senator.

without reading a reply, I'll object, saying that if there is only one garbage in that washroom, than, Dwight digging for a diaper would have found both the most recent from Angela's baby and the diaper of Pam's baby. Seeing both, he would have taken both. Seeing only one, it would have been the most recent which should be Angela's. There may be a chance that between Phillips changing and Dwight investigating, that Pam or Jim would have changed Cici, but that would lead to both diapers being visible in a single garbage, and thus I say that Dwight would have taken both. So, I believe that the doctors at the hospital were simply "paid off" to not reveal the true DNA results. I've always thought this since first seeing the episode. Obviously, the results should have been positive indicating Dwight as the father, but no. Right away I remember thinking about it like how the heck? And this is my answer. Politics are a fiasco.

Actually... yes and no. While Dwight certainly played a part, the whole Senator affair was what broke the camel's back. She needed to be humbled by life: basically she lost everything - her home, her marriage, her status, her beloved cats... she fell and Dwight made her stand up again. But, at that moment, she only had Philip, her job (working under her ex) and Oscar, who lent her his closet.

According to the Office Ladies podcast, the reason why Mike Schur (Mose) ducks down like that after Angela slaps him is because she accidentally hit him too hard, and his ears were ringing. I can't remember what episode she mentioned it on (since the podcast episode for that episode hasn't aired yet), but I remember Angela Kinsey talking about it!

The implication of that was that Angela was simply not aware of how many things the camera crew caught that she didn’t realize, such as when Dwight and her got busy in that shed or dog house during Jim’s party. Remember in Season 9 when it finally dawned on everyone that the cameras were capturing everything in the office… EVERYTHING.

the wrong diaper theory makes no sense, what really happened is that since dwight absorbed his twin, he has two sets of DNA, so he failed the paternity test. (yes, this is a documented phenomenon)

I think it’s great because in one of episode Dwight ridicules Jim for proposing to Pam on the side of the road. Then in a twist of irony Dwight ends up doing the same thing with Angela. Dwight is the younger brother in that relationship. Also, when Angela sent Phillip off with Oscar, she seems genuinely happy and clicks her tongue. I wonder if that was something she did with her own children and it made its way into her performance.
