Me, personally, the part where she says "I think you are" gives me chills and is just as important as "Not anymore." Sometimes we just need someone to believe in us when we've fallen.
My absolute favorite hero character design. The guy whose been through the entirety of hell, seen everyone he cares about die, and has almost no joy in his life. Yet he continues standing and fighting on. I forget if it was a game or an anime or something else but my favorite quote of all time is “I fought to the death… because real heroes don’t break”. I’ve been thinking of that line for years now whenever something bad happens in my life. “Real heroes don’t break” makes the tragedies of life feel almost encouraging, almost like I’m just in my hero training montage.
Starkiller says to Darth Varder after being saved from being executed. "You're one if those heroes arent you?" Darth Vader remembering Anikin Skywalker:"Not anymore "
It only came out just 6 years ago. I’m only 25 but I must be getting old or something. It’s becoming so much more common for people to talk about recent things as if they were so long ago lol. I agree it’s a great game I just think it’s interesting how quickly people forget about things
@@khonshuiimoongodiihatedbyg1690 your love is my drug 8 bit, originally a kesha song. The original by kesha is ear bleedingly bad however this 8bit version is amazing
Same. I remember it came out when I was in high school and it was all everyone was playing. Never got into it though, more of a battlefield and open world game kinda guy. Fortnite too, came out while I was in high school and never got into it either.
@@trapphouse It's astonishing how horrible the original is compared to a very simple slowed 8bit version of it. I assume a big part is the fact that in the better version we luckily don't hear Kesha's voice.
The one thing people love more than a hero is to see them fail, fall, die trying in the spite of everything you have done for them eventually they will hate you so why bother - green goblin
5 years later and I’m still playing Overwatch. It’s always been by my side in the last 5 years. Through the good times and the bad times and that includes everything in between. Awesome video
Even though I never played overwatch, I don't know why, but I am having this urge to watch this video over and over again . In 1 hour I have already felt the urge to watch it like 3 or 4 times. Actually, the first time I watched this video, I don't know why, but it made me emotonial and almost tear up, which is something that never happens to me. I read a comment explaining the backstory of this video, and that just made me even more sad, especially when he says "not anymore" :(
Idk but now I'm sad, I play overwatch and the game is awesome, it's tilting, fun, stressful but awesome. And the backstories of each character and the story of overwatch alone is utter immaculate. This song with the flashbacks of soldier and overwatch hits hard on the nostalgia and made me appreciate ow even more.
Low key reminds me of my Halo 3 days right before the group stopped playing. “Hey, dudes. This was an epic sesh. We got the tourney tomorrow. Log in a few hours early to practice?” “Forsure, bro. See y’all tomorrow.” *Last online- 14 years ago* 🥲🥲🥲 I miss my old gaming buddies.
Man I'm dreading that day. I still get on everynight with my 3 friends from high-school. We all moved apart now but we still play together on xbox , we are in our late 20s. I know one day It'll be the last day and I dread it. 😕
@@thebaychameleon7527 I am in my mid 20’s growing up I had everyone join my games and partys we’d be 8 of us every day till I graduated and started working long 12 hour shifts cause all I thought was money trying to get ahead and now I have a decent job with good pay and time to spare and now when I get on it’s only just me soloing in every game to only get bored and switch to Netflix to fall asleep . (Everyone works or just has family now )
This reminds me of my friend who dies. It was 2019 and he was 12 I was 11. He killed himself bc he had cancer and didnt want us to see him suffer. Overwatch was one of his favorite games other than fortnite bc it was 2019. I miss u Preston. Fly high. Love u brother
sorry to hear you lost a dear friend, even tho I didn't know either of you i still hope that you and everyone who he was dear to is doing alright, especially in these trying times. Best wishes to all you guys.
This is exactly how it feels to go through a break up, but you never met their family well enough, and when you coincidentally meet her little brother, you are reminded that some scars will never heal.
I have never played overwatch and know nothing about but this just makes me miss the old days. Like getting home from school and immediately hopping on fortnite or COD.
Every posible online friend i have Played overwatch and found Them on overwatch now cause the Game is dying almost half of Them are gone its a good game And i still Love it
The song that they sample is your love is my drug by Kesha if you’re interested. Its pretty generic pop tho you might be let down if that’s not your thing
I love the trope of Hero's becoming villains. I remember this series i used to view on yt awhile ago, one of the Hero's was a guy called GrimFire. During a normal mission the people he would call friends would abandon him when it went wrong causing his death. He continously would say through the series that He'd either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain. He came back and swore revenge on those who wronged him, but he'd never hurt or kill civilians. sadly the series was cancelled 😭
I hope everyone who is going through a hard time will be happy again. Lord knows I've been tested so many times, just don't give up hope and remember who you are.
I think the part that hurts the most is the part that I used to idolize this game before overwatch 2 came out 1500 hours into the 2nd game and things just don't feel...the same?. I know you're a fictional character, but you're a hero to me soldier. before any of the others you had meaningful story and no one does now. You're a relic from the past...someone to hang on to...one of those heroes...aren't you?...
Can’t stop watching this videos because the edit is just perfect ♥️. Is just when she said “Your one of those heroes aren’t you” Soldier 76 said “Not anymore” it just hits hard because is like in real life. You can be so nice at times but the world turns you cold and into a savage in a way that you battle demons every single day. Soldier 76 is like living like me and I can image in so many people. But thank you for this edit you deserve so many views because this true art 🖼....
@@maroullis07 yes I know what you mean 💯 I play football I went to the worst school to be that hero of the football team but they dint value me at all even though I was working harder then everyone and doing everything right.
