You're Playing With Words! Jehovah's Witnesses Hear the Gospel 

Your second mistake is that you say about the word Elohim and Psalms 82 and I quote YOUR words "when the rulers were calling to God they were saying, I recognise you as one God but you are three different people" Well, talk about putting words into people's mouths ! That is something YOU say to justify a pagan Trinity. Let me ask you this question, " Why do the Jews today not see God as a Trinity, after all they are still reading from the same verses, ? I think you will find that it might be something to do with the fact the Jewish people understand the word Elohim and what it means, so the JW's have the correct understanding !

You need to understand that Jesus himself has a God who he subjects himself to, please read Eph 1:3 which says "blessed be the God and father of our lord Jesus " So please let us know WHO is the God of Jesus and what is his name ? Read Rev 3:12 where we see Jesus as NOT a man but back in heaven and he says, ""The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. New International Version " So again, please tell us WHO is the God of Jesus and what is his name?

I ask you these questions because the foundation of the Trinity is that all three are "co-equal" and Co-eternal" So Jesus clearly said "the father is greater than I am" so Jesus disproves your Trinity by his own words, and as the verses in 1Cor quoted above shows, Jesus SUBJECTS himself to HIS GOD ! So now that you see form Gods word that Jesus is NOT equal to God his father, please show us where in the Bible it says that the Holy Spirit is God ? Please show us one verse which says that the holy spirit is equal to God, just one verse please ! Not verse which show all three together as that proves nothing !

@@STROND The One Jesus is calling his God is God the Father, of course. The Bible gives the name YHWH for the one true God of Israel. It does not give us a personal name for the Father. (The Father also refers to the Son as "God" and "Lord." Heb.1:8-12 That fits the trinity doctrine. They are the same God, but not the same person.)

@@Kyroblox There are lots of ways to be greater (size, authority, ability, wealth, age, experience, etc. Like a commanding officer is greater than a soldier in his role, but they are both equally human in their nature.) That's why we need to interpret verses according to their biblical context. The Father and Son are co-equal in their nature, not equal in their roles. A child who subjects himself to his parents is not less human than them by nature because of the subjection.

Many can be called "mighty". Only one can be called "Almighty", I'm sure you agree. It's impossible to have more than 1 ALmighy, right? Gen17:17 "And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect." You obviously look at the Hebrew (unless you just repeat what youtubers tell you), look at this verse. El Shaddái- God Almighty. Only Jehovah is referred to as such. Never his son.

@@totobey176 yes that’s all in the Bible. However the term son of God in the Greek is different than it is describing Jesus as the son of God. The Bible also says WE who believe are sons and daughters of God. The Bible says Jesus is the ONLY begotten son of God. This is not the same as an angel or Christian believer. It also says at what time did God call any angel his son. This tells us Jesus is not nor has he ever been an angel, and there is a difference.

Kindly read the life story and trials of Job. Job 1:6, it was stated there that those presented themselves before God were called his sons. Even Satan was among them.

Have you considered "worship" could be a relative term? As in not all "worship" is the "worship" Jesus told us to exclusively give his Father, God at luk4:8? One reason we can see this is the case is it's use in rev3:9, where Jesus says: "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." Is the immortal Christ now into idolatry? Of course not. Worship can mean to bow, do obeisance etc. Jesus accepted that as it wasn't the worship reserved for God alone.

He has never read that the Jews in teh ancient traditions worshipped two powers in heaven, however back in 2500 bce, God was only known to them as various names that God called himself thru different covenants with different peoples and nations. If you are called MADE AND CREATED AND GIVEN LIFE, and NEVER CALLED in the BIBLE as Creator or Maker , then you are A CREATION. ALL FROM THE BIBLE From the Lord was this (this is referring to the chief cornerstone who is Jesus) , the word WAS is egeneto (made or came into being) - Matthew 21:42 and the exact Greek word used in John 1:3 - MADE, egeneto (came into being) - JESUS WAS MADE/CAME INTO BEING FROM THE FATHER , yes, Jesus was MADE/CREATED!, See also Acts 2:36, Heb 1:5, 1 john 5 Isa 9:6 the word Prince in the Prince of Peace means PATRON ANGEL also Leader. Isaiah 9:6. And you conveniently left out all the verses before Philippians 2:9. Here it clearly states that Jesus is God, but emptied Himself of His power and took the form of a bondslave. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. Philippians 2:5-7. And if Jesus is not God, then why does He receive worship? 28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:28-29.

Yes, being born again means that we are a new creation in Jesus, like it says in 2 Cor 5:17. We give up our whole identity of who we are and let Jesus make us completely new.

ESV comes from an older manuscript than KJV and scholars say ESV is the most accurate English translation

@@vigilantbride What I mean is that the Bible is crystal clear about that we are spirits in our self ( Corinthians 2:11, Romans 1:9). Everytime or nearly everytime we talk about holy spirit in us or in action around us, we don't consider the possibility that it is our personal spirit in us or our spirits collectively (Romans 8:16). If we do that, we will realize that there is no Holy Spirit as an equal part of a so-called godhead. For instance, it will be a perfect explanatio of Mathew 12:32, that this is only when we speak against our own spirit that we can't be forgiven. Matthew 12:32 "And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come." Another example is from Mathew 28:19 were the name of the holy spirit is "Jesus" preached from his brothers as a collective, the church. I really can't come up with any script that can't be explained by realizing we are spirits made as the same substance as the Father (and the Son) mentioned in John 4:23,24 "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." Yes, the hour has cometh, and now is, namely the possibility to realize who we are as spirits. . I hope it helps. "The Lord be with thy spirit. Grace be with you." 2 Timothy 4:22.

To say that our spirits are of the same substance of the Holy Spirit is essentially saying that we are all God. There is no place in scripture that backs up your claim. In Isaiah 43, 45, and 46 God says multiple times that He is God and there is no other besides him. In Matthew 12 Jesus was talking about blaspheming the Holy Spirit, which is not speaking against your own spirit. It is rejecting the work of Jesus as from the devil and it is the unforgivable sin if someone continues in that same belief till the day they die. You are in error and misquoting scripture. I recommend doing a Bible study on the Holy Spirit, in both the old and new testaments.

Furthermore, the remarkably thing about having a child is that it consist of the same substance as one self, contrary to being created ( which we are in our flesh). Or Hebrew 2:11 "For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren," To be a brother to Jesus, is to be of the same substance as him. Or 1 John 3:2 "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." Or Romans 8:16 telling how to recognize that we are children by connecting our spirit with the spirit from God. We will never be able to see God unless we are like God, being one with him. (John 17:21). About your referring to Mathew 12:31, I can't find any greek text with "holy" and for instance KJV (from Textus Receptus) "pneuma" to "Spirit" or "Ghost" instead of just "spirit", thus twisting God's word. I have investigated the Greek word pneuma, a Biblical subject contrary to the believing in "Holy Ghost", which is not in the Bible".(of cause the adjective, holy is there). I respect that you have your right to kling to whatever you want even to something outside the Bible . That's exactly how I respect JWs as my former brothers even though they mix man-made teaching into their beliefs precisely as you do. By the way, I don't claim it is all of us but some, according to the Bible.

You're confusing the word God to mean the Father. Elohim means God. Elohim means 3 or more heavenly Spirits. The Father is one of three in God. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

That is a lie. Go back and read the gospels and write down every time Jesus called Himself the Son of Man, every time the Jews wanted to stone Him for blasphemy, and every time He was worshipped. I pray that your eyes are opened to the truth.

Jesus never gave up being God. Nowhere in scripture is that attested to. Rather, in Colossians 1 it says that the fullness of the deity dwells in Jesus. He added humanity to His nature, but He didn't cease from being God. The human part of Him died, but He didn't stop being God, and He resurrected the human part of Himself on the 3rd day.

It says the "logos" WAS God. When you understand that the logos became flesh, the JW doctrines implode on themselves. Then try looking up Son of Man. The mighty being whom God created as his firstborn (cf Colossians 1:15) was WITH God and had a very intimate relationship with his Creator. It was this mighty being who was SENT by God to become the promised Messiah (Galatians 4:4). Jesus being this SON of God, was in a good position to help humans understand who God is. If this mighty being (Angel) was God himself, then why did John say that no man has SEEN God AT ANYTIME? Didn't he and many others SEE Jesus? What need would there be for Jesus to explain who God is. Wasn't he standing right in front of people? People could see for themselves who God is, couldn't they. That is, IF Jesus was God. He WASN'T. Yes, somehow witnesses teach we just need to make changes and put on a new "personality," Yet the Bible teaches it is our very nature that needs to be renewed. Watchtower "bible" misses every mark.

Technically, Jehovah's Witnesses aren't Christians. They are a cult controlled by the Watchtower, and their teachings contradict what Jesus taught. But the real question is...what is keeping you from Jesus?

JW really doesn't give you an accurate idea of who God is or who Jesus is. The Bible is so much more than a "2000 year old goat herder book." The Bible is actually a collection of 66 different books, penned by 40 different authors across the span of centuries all telling of One to come and deal with the issue of our sins. And some books of the Bible are actually much older than 2000 years! It contains prophecy, which has been proven true through history and archaeology. If you get to know Jesus as God, you won't be disappointed. The way of salvation isn't you trying harder to be better, or working endless hours evangelizing. The way of salvation is Jesus. He receives you when you turn from sin and let Him change your heart.
