"This track tests you throttle input AND your steering input, TO THE MAX!" There's only one other control on the car, but few of these guys know what it is!
I loved all the chill dude bros in the 2nd race. Driver #1: "ah bro I'm sorry I didn't mean to get you loose" Driver #2: "you're good bro, don't worry about it dude"
Bad internet, bad controller schemes, bad tempers, bad decisions... Or all of the above. (or so says the Friday Morning ARCA Driver - no iRacing experience whatsoever)
Arca racing shows evolution at the finest, the worst just wreck out and the good ones make it through, and then sometimes you have the bad ones that somehow make it
that was pretty standup that he was gonna let him win. need more folk like that. closest thing i ever got to that was in an arca daytona race drafting with a fella when we were running 2-3 and he let me scoot by for second at the end because we were drafting so well. a big wreck split up the field per usual and the leader was like 20 seconds ahead lol
This week was my first week in the ARCA cars after promotion from Rookies. Half expected to see myself racing haha. Somehow finished 7th with no major incidents in my first race, just a few wall scrapes here and there. I was expecting pure chaos but it seemed almost professional for me.
I am the purple car at 9:03, all I have to say is whoever designed Darlington and decided the bottom bit should be flat instead of a baking like the rest of the turn is now my arch nemesis. Did let the guy pass me back but the fight between us two ended though after the guys car was too damaged and I just cruised back past the next turn.
The flat part on the inside was originally meant to be the racing surface with the banking as runoff, but drivers pretty quickly realised that driving on the banking is faster
Drivers like 11 send me through the roof. You’re not competing for the win, you’re not trying to unlap yourself, yet you’re gonna block the entire track for the leaders. So when they magically start spinning I don’t feel as bad
