"Maybe I'm the monster, but tell me what of those who made me this way. They may not be responsible for my individual actions but they are responsible for theirs, so why am I the only one paying the price while they get paraded around like saviors. I maybe the villian in their tale but they are the reason im the villian in my own." -D.K.
"You said you wanted the world beneath your feet." "I gave you what you so yearned for. Are you pleased now?" "I made myself the villian, the viper, the poisoned vial amongst clear goblets. So tell me, my beloved curse," I whisper, tilting his chin upwards, "Is this what you yearned for?"
This is golden for the book I'm currently writing about a society with two distinct sides--wealthy and poor. Rebellions have been rising up against the government demanding equality. One boy, Damian Cross, son of Gaunte Cross, one of the most wealthy politicians, vows to destroy the government's system and rebuild it so all may thrive. Yet, along the way, he finds a different solution: a better solution, yes, but a much darker one.
"You saw sword in my hand, hero. But my people see it as a shield. Its blood but they think colour. I did many f""king murders but they see me as their hero, hero. They are fools, and they are goingto die too" And with this said, in the end there was a freaking laugh from her
Amazing playlist for reading (and not only for reading) but it just goes so well with fantasy books/novels/manhwas that i read. Thank you so much ❤ I love it
Maybe it was a bit arrogant of me, but I couldn't help the entertained smile that crossed my face as she raised her sword from the foot of the stairs. It was interesting to see her so angry from up here, like a mouse shrieking at a lion after a horde of elephants turned and fled. "You don't deserve that throne!" she spat. "Don't I?" She grit her teeth. "It's mine by right!" She stomped up the stairs and my guards immediately drew their swords. I motioned for them to not strike. I was curious about what she had to say as she dripped blood across the marble. "You cheating snake," the girl growled. "You killed my father, executed his advisors, exiled my pregnant mother and elder brother! Not even the crown you wear is yours, you stole all of it!" I would have corrected her on the crown portion, but she wasn't done. Who was I to interrupt a rageful swordsman? Then, she sneered. "So," she turned the sword in her hand so that the sun caught the steel in all of its bloody magnificence, "I responded in kind." I felt my eyes darken as my heart shattered. My womb screamed as every fiber of my being wept, and my grief quickly morphed into anger. My eyes warmed as a familiar pain manifested in my back. "What?" She smiled victoriously and made a mockery of my loss, now that I raised my head to see her. "What's that? Do you not recognize your own blood?" I wanted nothing more than to rip her pretty little fingers from her hands, let her watch as her beating heart stilled in my palms. But that was too much. It was impossible for her to know for sure how many children I bore, or even what they looked like. She had to have taken from other parents. I couldn't be selfish. I snapped my fingers. Immediately, my guards returned to a ready position. Her expression briefly flashed confusion and uncertainty. "How many?" I asked simply. She frowned at me. "All of them, you wench," she declared. "Every single one in this palace. By the blood of the 'Matron's children,' my home will be cleaned again." I sighed. "So, thirty-nine sons, daughters, and eunuchs I housed and loved." My eyes traced the visors of the men and women in the throne room. They grieved as well. They came first. She sneered victoriously. Then, she yelped in surprise as I planted my foot against her breastplate and pushed her back. The woman tumbled down the marble, her cries of pain drowned out by the clatter of her armor. As she finally slid to a stop, I stood from my seat and relieved the pressure in my shoulders and back. Her curse died in her throat and fear gripped her very being as she beheld the raven's wings that gave me my name, bright and grand in their obsidian glass glory. My eyes became steel and unmoved as I stared down at the girl surrounded by the fathers and mothers of the children I cared for. "I showed your family mercy," I declared, "and only executed those found to be guilty of the persecution of the people within your walls. I gave your mother and brother a new dowry and life beyond these walls so that the shame of your father's sins would not follow them. Now, I see this was a mistake. Do not blame me for withholding mercy from your blood as you had with mine."
... just waiting for the writers... Edit: replying with “here” doesn’t mean anything, if I can’t find a story in the comments section, then I’m still waiting.

I might come back later with a full book summary, y'all. I just write so much fanfiction, I can't actually write anything original. But on a different note, I actually have a story that perfectly fits the title; "We Are The Enemy" 🤪 This just healed my soul.
Why does everyone mourn the hero and not the villian the hero wouldn't be a hero without the villian yet no one cares if the villian dies but if he dies there won't be a villian to defeat for the hero
Everyone is expecting me to be this legend that never dies but you keep stealing my f'''cking name.. So tell me how can i rise if you won't let me? The hero.
"let me say my dear it is not the throne who gives power it is the person who sits in it, either way the end is here" the loved hero said while the villain who was chained smirked and said "i agree but do you wanna know the power throne holds the servents the soldiers the ministers even the so called priest bows infornt of the throne! Oh wait let me show you " suddenly the chains was broken and the villain who is said to be hated rise up "look from the balcony fool i didn't kill your father and took throne a year back i knew you would be back and so see yourself to what you brought yourself into"
