So many people can't stand the fisheye. I embrace it and never leave home without it. It's a great lens for concert and club photography. It is the only lens that will handle indoor tight spaces. It's a lens that can be used in nature in the desert or on the ocean. People probably don't like it because of the distortion which makes sense if your doing something like architectural photography. Fisheye's rule. I think part of the reason why many photographers don't like it is because they don't know how to be creative.
I have been toying with the option of getting a fish eye, and as you say not everybody rates them. I felt I probably did want one, but realised I wouldn't be sure until after I spent my money. Well about a month ago I did, and I LOVE it! It is a very creative lens, and gives a massive boost to otherwise 'standard' subjects, as everything can be made to look different with a fish eye! Loving the funky style!
@@justifiedsoul69 When i bought my fisheye it was at the store and I compared the Nikon with the third party lenses. The Nikon had the least distortion and the most natural look. The distortion on some of these lenses can be extreme when comparing. Don't know about Canon as I don't shoot with Canon. If your going to get a fisheye, go to the store and take test shots.
(Waughmp waughmp) I bought a fisheye lens And make a rap video with a couple of friends It goes "waughmp waughmp" All the ladies and mens They know everything is better with a fisheye lens
