Tbh they weren't rly out of the water any longer than they would be if you took them out to clean the tank or sell them. That was one of the less concerning parts of that whole thing.
im a bug person, i love eusocial insects and the ant phone case INFURIATES ME!!! she just put a bunch of wild workers in a torture chamber!!! that's not a colony!!!!!! we can't even be sure if those ants were all from the same colony in the first place, which would cause stress, like there's no way they view that as their home, they just think they're constantly wandering around trying to find their nest 😢 the heat and constant movement of the phone would be so stressful for them, notice how even just putting your hand near an ant causes it to panic and run away? insects are very sensitive to vibrations
@@YouDontNeedToKnow08 exactly, it's so frustrating that many people just kill bugs without a second thought, but they experience pain and stress too :(
It's cool in concept but execution... Just get one of those moving cases with an ant video playing. Or get one of those jell phone cases, or something and fill it with little ant beads or something.
I totally understand why you aren’t able to make these videos often. I get sucked into animal cruelty deep dives and it really brings me down. It’s fine in moderation though. I’ve been loving watching your toy/figure unboxing stuff when I get the chance
I hate that the claw machine things are basically just bait for animal lovers. Like "Look! These animals are suffering! Pay money to save them or watch them die! It's on you!" Like NO!!!! HOW ABOUT STOP ABUSING ANIMALS!
as a ant nerd, 2:53, they are gonna die off. 1: without a queen, the “colony” will die because queens lay eggs. 2: you can’t just feed ants fruit and think they will be fine. Ants may die from stress. 3: ants actually talk by using vibrations via antennae and pheremones to direct colony to show that there’s food. When you move your phone around, the ants are gonna be really confused and stressed from the vibrations. 3: the only plus is that this would be good for a starting colony but NOT AS A CASE.
Was so relieved to see that chicken video. I love silkies. Mine would never let me give her a bath like that (she'll tolerate me trimming the feathers around her eyes, but she doesn't really like it), but it seems like that chicken really enjoyed being pampered. She was still and calm the whole time, and even purred. Very cute
Im really sure the pigeon doing a backflip is actually a kind of breed. Its called Birmingham Roller, they are born with a neurological problem that makes them loose equilibrium when flying. The pigeon on the video is trying to fly, but because of its problem it does a "backflip" instead. Humans bred them to do specifically this because it looks cool. There are videos of Birmingham pigeons flying, they suddenly start doing backflips mid air and gain equilibrium again.
My dad used to breed and sell roller pigeons specifically. When he would let them out to fly it wasn’t that uncommon for some of them to get stuck in a loop where they kept flipping and ended up crashing to the ground. Thankfully they were never severely hurt but it always made me feel hurt for them. I can’t imagine not being able to control my body like that. It reminds me of spider morph pythons.
@@lumini3172 pigeon that over roll or roll on the ground are not the goal with well bred rollers and tumblers. You ideally want a bird that rolls in a controlled way in the air or tumbles a short distance and rights itself. You would not see ground rollers or crash tumblers at pigeon show.
Hey! Pigeon person here. That clip isn’t cool at all. The pigeon in the video is a parlor roller. They’ve been bred by people to have a neurological defect that prevents them from flying correctly. All they can do is that flip. It’s animal abuse.
"ThE cAt AtTaCkEd OuT oF nOwHeRe!¡!!" Nah bro, cats show and tell what they want/are about to do. Like maybe small kittens act more unpredictable but that's normal, they are still learning. Some animals can't be friends, end of discussion. My boss recently told me how she loves the videos where cats and birds are "friends" and I educated her about how dangerous a cat can be to a bird even when they don't actively kill them.
If you put a pickle next to a cat, they are scared of it. Cats are instinctively afraid of snakes. They are a threat. So they will attack. I’m surprised this isn’t common sense.

Hey I heard you have been struggling with thinking of ideas for more animal based content but I do have some suggestions to hopefully spark some ideas. Of course you don’t have to make animal based content; do whatever you want, but I just want to help if I can! -animal care guides: you’ve done a few of these but the internet could always do with more and you don’t have to make them about animals you have owned if you don’t want to -best pet products on a budget: maybe you could pick a specific animal each video and suggest specific brands/products to find for cheaper if you want to save money for that animal -compare cheap vs expensive pet care products: similar to the last one but this time you buy(if you can) cheaper and more expensive pet products to see which one is more worth it, or if you like crafts you could do a buy bs diy thing -pick a specifically animal to dedicate a video to, weather that’s a pet or something else -invasive animals: talk about invasive animals in different areas and what you can do to help, like how people release pets into the wild and they go crazy -react to the way animals/pets are cared for in movies -pet behavior analysis: basically like why does this animal do this thing and how to read your pets body language and stuff -pet nutrition: talk about specific ingredients to avoid in pet foods or how to keep your pets diet balanced or even recipes of home made pet food or talk about your options on that -rank pet breeds: you’ve done it before and I want more!! That’s all I can think of for now so I hope this helps if you want to continue making animal related videos
I don't know if they do this everywhere but could talk about what the color of ribbon on a pets collar or harness means. Red: aggressive Blue: in service training Yellow: skittish Green: friendly Orange: not okay with other animals Purple: food allergy or dietary restrictions.
3:29 god, this is just horrible. Even though i don't like bugs it's still horrible to see them being treated this horribly. Like you said ants are really intelligent, it's basically almost like torturing a human. Imagine just chilling doing your job and then suddenly some giant just takes you from the ground and puts you in a tiny moving building with other humans you don't know. That's basically what they're going through.
6:30 Ohhhhhhh noooooo! What an accident! That was not expected and she didn't make that cat attack in the slightest. Such an accident! This is also a reminder to my fellow snake keepers to keep up those prices.
@@evelutioncor I was sarcastic. She was clearly enticing the cat to attack. That's why I said we need to keep those prices up. People tend to treat animals better of they are expensive. Look at her tapping the cat to annoy it too before shoving the snake in its face again.
That snake mostly still got bit, while the cat thankfully didn't get the snake with there longer teeth. They still have shorter teeth between those teeth and they hurt. Speaking from personal experience after being bitten, though it didn't do that much damage. Though the snake might be ok so long as the cat didn't bite down hard, the tiny teeth shouldn't have epledt any injuries if it was light pressure
As a myrmecophile (antkeeper) those harvester ants in the phone case will die in maybe under a week or two, they need their colony to live and their lifespan is maybe 3-4 weeks depending on the species. They care for brood and are he Queen and also are needed in the ecosystem VERY much. Ants still are animals so that is certainly abuse.
My hatred for people who mistreat animals is literally undescribable. It's so freaking infuriating! Imagine just being a pure soul doing it's thing in life, living your only life on this earth and then all of a sudden you get caught by these monsters and being mistreated. It's just so sad, i have no words...
I can definitely understand how making these videos can be stressful. Maybe it might be fun to have a series where you show us cute and funny videos, or really nice enclosures? More tippy taps times?
Have watched your vids for many many years and ive always loved your animal videos and your so good at educating people without being mean or Get angry at the owners! I could never! Just want to say thank you idk WHY😭
The phone case upset me so much as an ant lover. In 2020 or 2021 I watched a video by Ants Canada where he separated one ant from the rest of her colony and you can see how distressed she was while being separated and how she was so happy when she was reunited with her colony, I can’t imagine how the ants in the phone case feel 😭
I really love watching the cute animal videos with you, the abuse makes me cry it’s good that you skipped some of them because I can’t handle them. Wish people only tagged you on the cute ones only tho I do understand that it’s important to bring awareness but it’s really heartbreaking
The amount of water in the dress with the fish bowl was rly low too, those fish could literally barely move let alone the stress of moving around constantly
Tbf I’ve had to bath chickens before (I’ve owned them most my life) like if they’re sick and get poop stuck on them or sometimes they need a warm bath to help them poop if they’re constipated etc, you just have to warm them up and dry them properly
God, I miss my cockatiel. :( He was 28 when he died. I grew up with him. He was one of the babies we raised. He was bonded to me and I miss his singing every day. T_T
At 5:18 and other times in that tiktok, that little noise the chicken is making is called purring. Yes, chickens purr when they are happy. And that is one happy chicken.
There is the channel called like dodo kids I was like seven I was watching I was an animal nerd I saw this Guinea pig in a small cage and they also said it was friends with a dog AND I WAS LIKE WHAT THE HELL
I’m glad someone is looking out for the bugs too. People don’t see things like ants or spiders or even snails and slugs as real animals and it leads to a lot of horrible things. My dorm has a little area where you can put extra clothes or furniture or things you don’t want for other people in the hall to pick up if they want it. One day I stumbled upon a dead snail in a takeout soup container with a note saying basically “here’s a snail if you want it”. I’m super sensitive to animal death so I immediately started freaking out and putting stuff in my dorm group chat about how it wasn’t okay to leave a *dead animal* in the common area. People treated me like I was crazy and I frequently got the response of “it’s just a snail”. It really affected my mental health at an already rough time for me. Luckily my RA took care of it. I’m still baffled that I was the only one who considered a snail to be an actual animal enough to report a dead one in the common area!
I live in china right now were there are not a lot of animal abuse laws for things that aren't dogs or cats and I've seen a few claw machines with live crabs and lobsters in them but there are no laws against it.
Just be careful. There is a trainer who let their pit/bully (think it was a pure apbt) kill a malinois he baught from someone. He is refuseing to send home clients dogs as and tells them the same fate happend to them. He also state he would poison the dog if it wasnt killed. Its a big thing going around and the video of the dog locked on the dead mal is going around. Really hope people have sense and dont tag you in that, its sick. I see people are tagging different people.
I've deffo seen silky chickens kept more as like indoor pets and treated more like dogs like get fun coloured dyes and feather styles i guess and taken out on walks before!
The turtle claw machine reminded me of a dream that I had when I was like 5-6 and it was abt me finding a baby turtle drying out in the sun and I picked it up and I was walking to the ocean to put it back and the turtle saw a pond or smt and was like rlly happy abt it like it was finally “home”. Then it died because someone snatched it and threw it in the pond. That day I was crying over ANYTHING and EVERYTHING
I hate how people treat reptiles, fish and rodents like toys and like they can’t feel pain or suffering and also people NEED to stop letting small animals interact with cats and dogs
Poor animals,I love both insects and animals and those ants are gonna probably die of stress soon, and I feel bad for all these poor animals, those ants don’t even have a queen, there just looking for there conlonies every second
The one of the corn snake and cat (Story time lol) I used to let my snake out of her cage, and with my cat being old/ living around all kinds of animals she is extremely dosile. Whenever my cat was sleepy and my snake was still I would allow my snake to rest in her fur bc it was warm and they would just sit still together all the time..........now back to the video though, WHY WOULD YOU DANGLE THE POOR THING LIKE A DAMN TOY?!?! That is EXACTLYYY why the cat bit it unlike my cat, it's a lack of common sense from the owner
I'm glad there's a more reaction video, because i obviously enjoy these from you; however I'm sad for you and that you are stuck into such a niche and you feel like this is the only reason people are here. It's an unfortunate reality that most people here will only click on animal content. Don't give up on the things you love to do, people will turn up for you, it just takes times to prune out the people who are here for you, or the people who are here for a certain video they expect.
I own chickens you can wash them my elderly chicken needs a lot of baths. I think show chickens take more baths . Silkies are higher maintenance breed because of their silkie feathers.
7:38 I think the snake is a hog nose snake as far as I know they aren’t hilly venomous, but there bit will still hurt(don’t quote me on that I don’t have enough information to say anything about it)😅😅😅😅😅😅
@@Rowman-ikr5 thanks. Those are one of the most common and cheap snakes you can buy, i kinda assume thats why this person have it. I just hope that this idiot at least did some resaerch and set up a proper terrarium for this poor baby. I love snakes, their are just so underrated.
Just got my first betta fish in 6 years today!! He’s acclimating right now 😊 You helped convince me to get one again! Love your videos no matter what you do!
For clarification on the chicken! It looks like a show standard silkie getting ready for one of her shows c: Edit: more clarification that i forgot to mention lmao- that chicken is very happy and relaxed :D she's very clearly been through all of this before and has gotten used to and comfortable with the process of the bath
Firstly, answering the snake question that is a corn snake- secondly, I am an absolute snake lover (as you can tell from my profile) and seeing snakes being abused and used as toys absolutely INFURIATES ME. I have a snake of my own and I smother her in love and care. I would never do this to her.
Im sure you get told this a lot but you're my favorite RU-vidr by far. Your videos bring me so much joy honestly and I love literally all of them. You actually inspired me to move my fish from a bowl to an actual tank. Anytime I think of my future I think of having a bunch of pets like you. You're honestly living my dream life like, lowkey I've always wanted a room just for all my pets. You can tell all your pets are very happy and well cared for. Like I said, Im sure you always hear how you're their favorite RU-vidr but I mean it. No joke I watch you everyday (usually like, 2 hour a day) just because your videos are so interesting and teach me so much. When I saw you posted a video it literally made my whole day. Tysm for continuing your channel. Your channel is so underrated and amazing . never stop! 💗
