PolishAndPoly here: Evvvviiiiieee!!!! Giirrllll!! I’m SHAKING sorry I’m having a panic attack right now I’m SO excited aahhh!!! I literally paused the video at the like, sorry my brain can’t function right now 🤣 I’m going to edit this once I watch but I just wanted to leave this now first to say THANK YOU 🙏🏼 😭❤️ You’ve helped me so much through my struggles and it’s an honor to be featured here. 😊 Have a great day, everyone!!
as an autistic and adhd haver, it made my heart feel so warm hearing you two speaking about your kid 🥹🥹 one more reason to feel comfortable on your channel
Literally this I’m autistic and undiagnosed ADHD as a female it’s a fight and a half I got told I was lucky to be diagnosed so early at the age of 18!! But these guys and Emily susannah have been my escape and made me feel safe I even started to do my own nails and to hear them speak about it and not even treat it like it’s bad or an issue makes me feel even more comfortable and safe on their Chanel my son atm almost 2 is non verbal autism tho he babbles a lot so it’s nice to know we’re not alone (sorry I feel like iv rambled but I guess that’s just one of our traits?) 😂🙈 basically I agree with u wholeheartedly and I’m glad we’re not alone ❤
@@trinzyemoxox1759 That’s the part that warmed my heart as well. They just discussed it like it was a fact. I wish we could all experience parents like that.
My kiddo is ADHD and Autistic as well. We have been known about the adhd, but recently this year found out about the autism. He’s very smart and very high functioning even with his tweeks. So I definitely understand what you are talking about. We also was told as high functioning he is he was diagnosed early for his age
@@TheBlackBarbie465 I got told I was high functioning but unfortunately that label tends to mean people don’t feel we need as much help when in fact as autism is a spectrum we can be both high mid and low functioning it just depends on the day or what’s effecting us as some days I’m perfectly fine talking to strangers and other days I’m just too overwhelmed or over stimulated to speak and then am perceived as being rude it can really hard for us as it’s up and down quite often but I’m really happy to hear that regardless of the way his brain works u still see him as a smart kid that shouldn’t be judged otherwise remember lots of research will help u through this journey it can be hard as a parent to know how to help ur child while struggling especially if it’s due to things that effect us due to our mental health wish the best for u and ur son xx
@@kaymitchell6143 honestly this and Il my kids will never see it as weird or something to be ashamed off not just because I understand what they r going through but also because regardless of their struggles mums here to make it all okay xx
As a grandma with 5 autistic grandkids, I'm so happy to hear that we were not alone trying to figure it out too. We also didn't have any special needs in our family till our first grandson. You two are special wonderful people. 💜
I have 2 children with autism, 1 nonverbal she is 30 now, it gets so much easier, they are so much joy! Find a trade, or college for him, early education for him. He understands everything. He will date, have a social life, have friends. Just be his parent, his advocate, and his friend. He gets it. Also, smart phones will help when he gets older.
Aside from all the nail greatness, I really need to say ... I LOVE YOU AND MARCUS! Y'all are giving goals, y'all are giving, life, giving love, giving y'all REALLY appreciate us and I just wanted to thank you and DO NOT ever stop showing us love❤!!
Saw some of this live the other night. Was having a panic attack and hanging with y’all really calmed me down. Thank you so much for doing the lives. 💕
I'm sorry to hear you have panic attacks, I have severe anxiety as well. I love the lives on Saturday for the same reason. Calming and keeps my mind off of everything. ❤❤
I've said this before and I'll say it again here. I love your dynamic with Marcus aka Hubby. It was too cute when he said he loves your natural nails most and then you showed your natural nails and he said never mind lol 🤭🤭🤭 Also I'm one of those that appreciate you bringing back the intro. I thought we ALLL knew it was Marcus singing??
Been here since the very beginning. I don't do nails but just love to watch all the crazy designs! I'm nearly 65 & when I was young all you could get was nail polish !!
You’re the reason why I started doing nails at home & I LOVE your videos💕 I have a 5 year old son thats on the higher spectrum of Autism & I love how you brought up about your sweet baby! It has definitely been hard because I also don’t have anyone in my family with disabilities & Aiden is my 1 & only child. All we can do is take it one day at a time💕 Some days are better than others, but I wouldn’t trade my baby for ANYTHING!! Stay being the amazing woman you are💕🥹
Definitely understand struggle my son is almost 22 yrs old now and has cane so far and I’m really contemplating doing nails on you tube starting my own channel and talking about real life issues as part of my channel so I ❤this ! Ur one my favs
For anyone wanting to get into stamping, when you get your stamper, you have wash it with gentle soap before use. And you have to stamp fast before it dries down. All stamping polishes are meant to quickly dry.
my son Kelsier is also autistic and i thought he was around the time he turned 2..but his doctor kept telling me the same thing. that he would catch up and he would be fine. he was nonverbal, and also HATED going anywhere new or being aorund new people. so even taking him to the doctor to get seen was a nightmare. He'll be 5 this year and hes starting to talk and he asks for things now, and hes learning some sign language. watching you with him and hearing yall talk about him makes me think about how much of a blessing my son is. also you're the reason i started doing my own nails. so thank you for all the inspo over the years.
Evie. I just want to say that i think it is such a beautiful thing that you use your platform to support and encourage other creators! I hope that your success continues to grow and that you continue to prosper indefinitely!
Marcus and Evie, thanks for that live. It really just felt like sitting around with friends, just cuttin up and having fun. It also meant a lot to me when you shared about MJ. My youngest child Ezri is about to turn 7 and she is also Autistic/ completely nonverbal. My story is similar to y'alls. Her doctor was reluctant to say anything was a different with her( even though I think I always knew). I'm currently in the broke stage trying to deal with it but we're makin it day by day. I'm glad you guys have each other for the support needed for this kind of thing. MJ's a lucky little dude. I feel even closer to you guys now so thanks for letting me know I'm not alone out here.
I'm surprised no one suggested it, but for the "glowing" polish it was most likely meant to glow under black light like the photo. So that's why it looked white, but the color probably changes if you put it under a black light like in a club or similar setting.
My hubby thinks your hubby is a brave soul! He’s been afraid I’d get him involved in my love of nails! My son in Autistic too and it’s not easy but they are so easy to love and I wish sometimes he’d let me stay in his world! Love to y’all!! ❤❤❤
I really enjoy how you and Marcus interact with each other it's so sweet! I am happy that you both have a strong partner to lean on in your hard times. You two are a great example for other couples. Thanx for this fun video, I love the nail cards. I am a Tarot and Oracle card enthusiast and have several wonderful decks. So those nail cards I NEED in my life! I love doing my nails and reading the cards, so naturally, a nail deck is so perfect for me!
Hey Evie and Marcus👋🏾 love watching yall together ❤️ Evie you are definitely the reason why I started my nail journey and now I'm proud to say I'm a licensed nail tech 💅🏾! Thank you so very much 🫶🏾🫶🏾
My daughter is 4 and autistic. She is also nonverbal but man she is such a joy and I wouldn't change her for anything in the world. It is hard and challenging because it's so many things and services that they need. But I'm so happy to here that he thriving 😊
The stamping plate pics on the clear sheet are to hold over the nails so you can work out positions and see what it will look like. X great video as always ❤
I love that you guys talk about autism and the truth of it. I have 2 autistic sons myself and they are on opposite ends of the spectrum. My youngest is mostly non-verbal. I love your videos, they are my favorite!!
Wow, you got a lot of good cute stuff. This video is awesome. Thank you for bringing up your son MJ. 🙏🏼 I love when you show off your family I love all yall much blessings 🙌🏼 💛
I am loving the live episodes! Loving the old intro too!! I was an autism elementary teacher for over 5 years and then a behavioral specialist for special education. I loved my ASD students, all of the amazing moments I had with them always made the tough moments easier. It was such a fulfilling role and I am always amazed at at my students’ creativity and compassion. The families were always incredible to work with.
Evie you are so Beautiful & Marcus is So Wonderful!!!❤ You bring Us Sooo much Joy❤ My Hubby & I are the same way. He is my Best Friend & my Biggest cheerleader!!! TY for sharing your Family with Us & The Love & Bond You Two have is Priceless ❤ We just celebrated 20 years of Blissful marriage together & I Wish You & Marcus the Same. Can't wait to see more of you two❤🥰💕 You Are Truly Blessed 🙏💕🌹🥰 And Y'all ALWAYS make my Days so much Brighter ❤
I'm so happy to hear a parent with an autistic child talk about their child with actual respect I'm autistic and it fills me with joy especially with how some "autistic parents™" act and talk about their child
Hay girl tip for u... take a lint roller to clean off your stamper it makes it really stickie again after u use it. I got about three or four of them that I use all the time.
Ummm Mrs Eeevie ma’am!! I don’t what you’re doing but you are serving face in this video! ❤ also Ms. Erica Johnson BROUGHT ITTT!! I had to pause this joker and comment before I forget 🤣🤣 2023 is looking gud for the girls! 🥰
@@PolishAndPoly You are very welcome! I’m a self taught nail girlie and I’m definitely going to order press-ons from you. You are INCREDIBLY talented ❤️🥰

I love stamping the nails and I love the stickers, things are so much easier that way. I bought my stamping kit from Walmart and it had the instructions on it.
I have a daughter whom also autistic … she’s 23 now and is an assistant manager at a grocery store doing really well!!!! Credit score better than most fully grown folks… She’s definitely one of the best children I have and I have 6…. So there’s definitely hope because with God anything is possible…. She’s been my biggest challenge and blessing all in one💙
Yes! My son is on the spectrum as well and is verbal. That comes along with its challenges as well. I'm a single parent and have some support, so that helps. But it is really challenging, especially if services are not available in the area where you live.
Evie, I just love you and Marcus' story. I felt the same way! I was so glad God sent my hubby and took me out of the madness! We have one son who's wonderful, doing well in school and band. Continue to enjoy life together and all it will offer. 💯❤
Will you ever do a giveaway of your old products or equipment, would love me a dust extractor if you do! 🙌🏻 Love watching your videos, so inspiring! 💕🎉
😮 I'm just now looking I enjoy watching you and Marcus together I think that's so awesome and there's always going to be haters who cares enjoy the moment love the journey💯💜🙏🏽
First time watching you. Now I'm watching a bunch lol. I just had thumb surgery so no Christmas nails for me 😢😢. They said 3 month healing so no nails for me until March so sad😢😢😢
My daughter is autistic too but very bright and academically strong. But her social skills ain’t worth squat, but she working on it. I only knew my oldest was autistic because I work in a preschool and my coworker and director sat me down and told me, and provided me with resources. Man it’s hard I know many families with autistic children on varying degrees of severity, they all hard one way or another. Does MJ use a device to communicate? One of my friends daughter does because she none verbal too. I didn’t have anyone in my family that is on the spectrum either, my daughters early days was hard especially my husband and I both worked full time, but man I somehow managed to get all the help she needed in 3 months I surprised some folks that came through to help. And from that point on I helped families in the preschool I work at to direct them to service and support programs.
