Traded my iphone 12 for the new OnePlus 11, and am very happy with my decision. The display on the OP 11 is gorgeous, the UI is silk smooth, performance is blazing fast. Good part is there's no bloatware. I use messaging, multiple mails, docs from one drive and social media on a daily basis and there's absolutely no lag or stutter. The battery fires up from zero to 90% in 20 mins flat and that's great. Great experience this time and good job OnePlus!
i am using iphone 12...and also really want to switch to one plus 11....but here in new zealand ..one plus 11 price too high...damn..only cheapest one is cn version...
I really don't mind a comparison between the 11 and s23 ultra. Of course, it is a flagship versus a flagship killer and I think that's important dimension. Personally, I chose the 11 and I absolutely love it.
I bought an S23U and I loved it but the battery was broken I'd only get about 4 hours screen time on a charge. Dealing with Samsung warranty/exchanges is the reason I returned it and bought a one plus 11. At least this time if I have to deal with BS customer service I didn't pay $1600 for the phone
@@dr.fitprofessor1970 I've been an apple guy since the 5S. Apple's done a pretty good job of keeping my business on a string; I wait for waterproofing to upgrade they make a 7, I want a bigger screen they make a 10, I want outstanding battery life they made a 13. But now ironically enough my trigger for upgrading is USBC and I just can't bring myself to drop flagship prices on the 15 pro max this fall when the competition looks like it does. I found a deal on the S23U and figured sure why not and I gotta say the first two days of it were just uncomfortable, I'd rather squeeze lemon juice in my eyes, but I stuck it through the week and I gotta say that experience awakened something in me and I just can't look at apple the same way right now. They'll have to increase usability outside of their ecosystem and bring a better price:performance product to market before I'll ever go back. So far I'm loving the OnePlus 11 I find the UI and initial experience to be very accommodating.
@@demetrioalvarado7685 it's great. But it has its flaws..camera wise. Not happy that some of the buttons have limited assigned functions and that the main camera app doesn't have a document scanner. Everything else I'm liking so far. Camera is quite good and the phone is very snappy. I love the back design alot. Reminds me of a digital camera. Not a fan of the curved screen but it's elegant. I like the pin hole notch that's on the left side of the screen. But the best of all that blew me away is the fast charging
@@Ian-ny6ux appreciate the reply Ian! As far as performance goes, how do you rate. Have been eyeing this phone for a good while now lol. Specially the 16gb/ 256gb version.
@@demetrioalvarado7685 I've taken some memorable pictures on portrait mode. It's just amazing. I say that justifies the cost of buying the phone. I'm a heavy phone user. Like my eyes are barely not looking at the phone. So the fast charging 100w and long battery life is just icing on the cake. Gaming wise i cannot say much because i am no longer into gaming. I dare not do so as there's so much adulting i have to get done. I have the 16gb 256gb version and im pretty sure video editing and moving files around are going to be fast since it has the latest chipset. Haptic feedback is great. Fingerprint scanner doesn't get it all the time on the first try. Maybe my finger is dirty when that happens im not sure. But it's great. Speaker, screen, design. Etc. So far so good. I think no one will regret buying this phone unless they're coming from Xiaomi.

Speaking of best buy, I have found that if you can locate the oneplus 11 open box which I did while the green model was on sale for $629, my local best buy happened to have the green 256gb 16gs of RAM that was brand new nothing inside had been touched and only the seal had been broken and best buy had it on sale priced at $390! No way I was passing on that deal. I had been using the oneplus 9 pro for the past year. The op 11 is phenomenal! The OP 12 global I already want. It will be one to get in 2024.
I bought the one plus 11 on a business trip and got region blocked. I find no help with the local support, I wrote to global. All they say is , go figure out yourself from whoever sell you the one plus 11. It's your flagship. Which you region blocked of all grey imports by disabling phone calls. Stupidest thing ever. This is my first and last one plus. Period.
You need to use the phone locally for some time to be able to bring it overseas. I just stayed on an hour call locally. I’m overseas now and can use it.
Of course, you could have just bought the proper 11 variant for your region in the first place. LMAO. I'm trying to figure out why you're blaming OnePlus for your mistake.
iPhone person, but I have the 10t, 10Pro and 11. Am very familiar with Samsung and will take any of the OP phones I listed above over any Samsung phone. As for comparing it to a Samsung. I wouldn’t compare it to a Samsung for the simple reason Samsung is garbage. I’ve had several Sams in past years, and tho the hardware is great, the UI is a lead boat anchor on that hardware. The Sam UI is bloated beyond comprehension. The UI is larger than the OS their phones run on. Madness. Also, you are restricted from removing loads of Sam specific apps that have nothing to do with the android OS. Or being able to disable the apps. One of the things I like about iOS is that (so far as I am able to figure out) all apps that are not specifically required for iOS to operate can be uninstalled. OnePlus while still having much more unremovable apps than iOS has far far less crap that you are forced to keep on your device. OP is IMHO a reasonable Android alternative to iOS. Samsung is unacceptable. Being polite with that. I’d probably get banned if I said how I felt about Samsungs heavy handed forced acceptance of their unwanted bloatware. Wireless charging or plug. All my OP phones have always lasted an entire day, with lots of streaming through the day. I just unplug it in the morning and plug it in at night. And I don’t use the OP charger. Slow charge through the night.
Had to turn off the 1440p. Gave my a headache for how sharp it is. I have a defective unit I think cause I have a lot of software issues, but besides from that it is a fantastic phone. My first android.
@@averyearl5621 from chats with them and the Reddit forms. I miss typed with software. I seemed to be the only one having massive app crashes and stability issues on the forms and OnePlus was like ya that stinks lol
@@doomy_doomy2225 Listen , since it's your first android i have to tell you that android experience changes alot from brand to brand , so if you get a bad impression in the oneplus , trust me , it's not for all androids .
@@apakerzin I like the pixels. I tried an S21 and had the same experience in that device. I was gonna get a pixel but for some reason my heart really wanted a one plus phone.
Does rogers 5g work in it, I just want to know before i buy it! Because the website says it doesn't

I'm thinking to switch from S20 FE to OP 11. I've had OP9 in the past and I had big issues on Oxygen OS 12 with notifications - notifications not coming from certain apps, notifications show on lock screen, I unlock the phone (but I don't touch notification) and then when I lock phone again, notification is missing from lock screen. Facebook messenger chat heads were really small, having lot of empty spaces on the both sides of the screen. How are notifications on OP 11, do you have any issues with it? Do unread notifications stay on lock screen even if you unlock the phone? How is situation with FB messenger chat heads, did they fix it? If someone can send screen shot that would be also awesome :)
I have to as my S21 ultrs display has developed a green straight line just in the middle from top to buttom crossing over the selfie cam. This has hsppened 2 yr and 2 month after using the device. And repair cost they are asking 30k , with another 20 k I am getting new op11 so why not trade in?
I had the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 7 pro but I'm going to hold off on getting the OnePlus 11 as OnePlus is really dropped the ball with support the last year and a half and I want to see if they're going to follow through with the 11th and if they do then I'll probably get the OnePlus 12 cuz I think they make really good phones but I wonder
