Full transparency, I don't golf! So I can't be sure. However, I take these with me everywhere now, and have never had any complaints about them being "too dark" or even "not dark enough." Except when I first walk indoors and they haven't gone back to clear yet (but that's transitional lenses, it takes a bit of time). They do a good job of adjusting to just the right amount of darkness for me.
It's probably bc it's open ear earphones so little to no bass. Even dedicated open ear earbuds pale in comparison to regular earbuds. Best sound quality is Bose tho and even Rayban Metas have slightly better audio. However, Lucyd has longer battery life, more frame options all of which are more discreet or natural looking rather, at about half the price or at least cheaper than both. So pros and cons
My husband and I just bought two of the Earthbound XL's for our new vision prescription yesterday. The total was around $640 for both (including the Rx lenses - bifocals)... Lucyd had a sweet deal with 20 per cent off their gift cards (no limit), so we got $600 in gift cards for $480, and had a 15 per cent coupon on the frames. I'm still using mine to this day! Planning a follow up video that amounts to, "I still love these for audio. Meh on ChatGPT, but no loss there." Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Hello there! We just received them yesterday 😊 We had prescription lenses that they had some delays on, but they took very good care of us. We use iPhone 12 Pro Max’s and the sound is amazing. We agree with you that the GPT is ehh… One thing we’re running into issues is getting Siri to work. The frames are BIG (we bought the XL’s) … but very comfortable. Very very VERY impressed with their customer service support. They sent us progressive lenses, which they said they were making us single vision at no cost, shipping overnight at no cost to us. By and large, so far so good. I will say that the frames feel a bit flimsy (for the lack of a better descriptor) … but we wear our glasses constantly, and we’re just a bit weary about how well they will hold up for 17 hours/day. But again, we still love these, and how they wear and feel and the clarity of the lenses. I think my reply went to spam because YT has been giving me issues when replying to posts for whatever reason. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated 😊
I don't wear mine 17 hours a day or anything, but if it makes you feel better... I've dropped them quite a few times (each time convinced they'll be broken forever)... and they're going strong. I think the Frames feel "hollow" because of the space needed for circuity and speakers.
