100% I still love my Rog Ally, it runs the games I want it to run. When I use it out and about it is when my kids are doing their 1hr swimming lesson so it lasts the perfect amount of time. The rest of time I use it is when sitting on the sofa at home so being plugged in isn't an issue.

x is 300 usd more expensive in my country so yeah ally 2023 is still a good bargain.

Ally X is way too expensive, I got my z1 extreme open box for 480 and probably won't upgrade anytime soon

Where I live the Ally X cost more than 1100usd new, the Ally with the Z1 Extreme over 800usd. I found the the latter used, in great condition for about 550usd with the rog pouch. So with current prices here, the Ally X is a total no- go. If the price difference had been 100usd, I would go with the Ally X every time. Such a nice console!

Here I can easily find the old Ally Z1 Extreme, on sale for 450-500€. Ally X is literally double that price, so around 1000€.

Rediscovering my passion od play games as a guy who raised playing OG handheld consoles was my motivation to buy Ally too. I just purchased mine today during on my vacation abroad so i can benefit from Tax Free. I think i can't go wrong with 530€ for Z1 Extreme.. We will see
