You Shouldn't Level Lian | Hero Wars Dominion Era 

I like Lian, but she is pay-to-win because of her Beach skin. It's a magic attack skin and necessary if you're using her as a damage dealer. Solo Lian is effective because it maximizes her charm/control ability. Assuming no Sebastian/Khorus on the opposing team, a stunned hero stays stunned, but a charmed hero wakes up as soon as they take damage from another hero. It limits your options as to who you can use with Lian and have her be effective in the same way.

If you build Arachne, you absolutely should get Lian too. They are incredible together because she is an extremely fast ode stripper.

So, Regarding Sebastian: At the end of the day, you only have ONE Sebastian. This means that Sebastian can only address one team of control heroes if that's what you use him for (And by now anyone who's listened to me rant knows I don't approve of him only being used for anti-control buffs. His primary function is as crit support in my book.). What does this mean? Lian is very effective in Grand Arena where she may be more limited in Arena. She is also more effective on offense than defense. When you're looking at your 2nd and 3rd team, she's a strong choice if you're building towards a Control and/or Pure-based damage set on one of them. And, like you said, if you like her, you like her. I mean, I am STILL maining Artemis and have been since I joined 2 years ago. I leveled Sebastian because of her (and I originally actively disliked his look and playstyle, and finally relented after I got his Dark Depths skin). If you like a hero, you find a way.

I would say opposite is true. Agility and strength are least needed heroes once you are aiming for 20+ heroes to level. 4-5 strength heroes I agree. Agility- Nebula, Sebastian and Isaac, after that you can go for 1 or maybe 2 agility based damage dealers. Having 5 different agility damage dealers is of course good, but that is if you aim at 30-35 heroes and are maxing out. More then 2 agility damage dealers will not have right support for CoW or GA to be efficient. Intelligence heroes are more common with 20+ heroes aim.

So here are my thoughts on Lian: 1. She can be a great hero, but she's pay to win as a damage dealer given her beach skin is required to get up her magic attack. 2. Her ability to solo some teams is because she uses charm, which ends when enemy is attacked, making it harder to pair with other heroes and maximize het charm use. 3. Her ability to solo some teams is more of a gimmick than reliable strategy since it only works against teams that don't counter her, also meaning solo Lian is only good offensively, not defensively as it's not hard to form a team that will beat her even just considering all the heroes most players will level. This means that she can't replace a full team both offensively and defensively so you still need a full third defensive team for modes like GA, CoW, etc. Overall, Lian can be a great hero, but you really have to max her to get the results being talked about here and she's still not a replacement for a full team. Personally, I wouldn't recommend focusing on her unless you already like her because it's a lot of investment. I'm not a huge fan, but see her use so I will invest in her, though she's on the back burner.

you have pretty good opservations and you are realistic, not some whale players who is pumping every hero that's out there... I like your stand a lot... must agree on Arachne as one of the best heroes out there, she's a true champ.
