DE GOD SON, in Nana Addo and Bawuliar's eyes the nation Ghana is still under COVID hmmmmmm. Ghana is sick. As for the car custom duties only time will tell. The duty is made in that order so that in the event that the importer is not able to pay within a specific period of time those who think because they have authority and can do whatever they want can pay pennies and take the car. I experienced it just recently, the custom duty for a Toyota Sequoia that I shipped to Ghana was so much around GHc 170,000 plus. After struggling to put those money together, I was told that because I was not able to put together that amount within a specific time, the Commissioner of Customs have sold my car. I have cursed the person who have my car that he/she will pay for that and his children's children will also pay for that ill acquired car. I am working to pay back the loan I used to buy that car. It is painful and heartbreaking but that's Ghana for you. Hmmmmmm they will continue to die prematurely with their eyes open, yes even in death their eyes will not close. Period!!!!!!!

Pastor, please do not exaggerate. In New York only two hospital are equipped for air landing. New York Presbyterian and White Plains Hospital. I agree we need to be intentional to equip our hospital. However we must acknowledge that we lack the resources. We have not created wealth. We want to burden the state for everything. The US you talk about, the well equipped hospitals are all privately owned.

Please educate yourself on certain things, especially taxation. Covid is to pay for the loan we took during the COVID time. So we will pay until the loan is paid. NHIS we pay it not because we are sick and going to the hospital. Those who pay NHIS do not pay it because they are sick. It is insurance against sickness. The over age levy is to prevent people from importing such vehicles. Yes, they could band overage cars but your for our foolishness we shall pay the levy.

Look the country has no money and there are so many things we need in the country and 3 only way the government can get money to ease these problems is through taxes. Know this, agenda 111 which is about building hospitals came in the time of COVID, though there are hospitals but they are few if you think of our population this time how many people pay taxes in the country.
