I have no idea why you say you’re not crafty, I watch you do things that are crafty almost every video, I watch you gardening, building, freeze drying, boating, birding, sewing, staining, fencing, animal raising, rescuing, painting, decorating and being creative making a beautiful home for your family and pets. I am so happy that you are beginning to come to realize that you are indeed a very talented and crafty woman.
Good afternoon Brooke, wonderful repurposing the Kitties are going to enjoy the tree. Maybe you could make some open wooden boxes representing presents, put them around the base of the tree. Some open top boxes filled with straw around the base of the tree. The kitties could climb in and out of the boxes and sleep in the straw dreaming of Christmas. 😀👍🌲👍🌲👍🌲
Yeah I get what you are saying because I am definitely not… I have so many talented family members who are and thanks to them I have some beautiful home crafted pieces. I am 68 and am still trying to figure what my talent is.
Your handcrafted Christmas tree, using repurposed items, is perfect in your milk room. Nicely done Brooke. I think you can officially proclaim yourself a crafty person, in a good way of course, lol. And best of all it is Biscuit approved! 💜🐾
I absolutely love the team work you two have! You both work so hard. But you both have eachothers backs! That's a marriage that will only grow more an more love! Thank you for sharing your lives with us. I truly appreciate it!
This is the first time I have ever disagreed with Brooke but she is indeed DEFINITELY a very crafty person! That tree is brilliant and timeless. And it is gorgeous. Well done Brooke!
Brooke for someone who says she is not crafty your learning real fast. What you've made so far is super great for the Barn and the front area. If you have another bale of hay you could make a Mlldred out front because you did so good. The tree for the cats is also another great one. You could take more pallets and make Tree's for some of the other areas of the barn its just 3 of them in different heights. Cut out exactly like you did for the milk room. There's is solid wood so if you have that, that would be great too. 4x4's and make great crafts which you could use for candles or other things. You can keep that stored in the old barn for each year. So glad your getting into decorating for the road side and animals too.
The pallet tree looks amazing and I know the kitties will enjoy using the scratching post every day!! Great job Brooke!! Oh I love the big barn ceiling fan too!! Great job Jason!!
WTG Jason & Brooke. Love how you plan it and get it done. Those kitties will love their new scratching post Brooke. What a great idea. I can't wait to see what you two have planned next. Always something happening on the farm. ❤❤❤ Thank you for letting us peer through the looking glass, as you share your wonderful lives with us.
That tree turned out so cute ! You’ve definitely got an eye for creative crafting ! ( and re use/ recycle ) what a great festive idea for the milk room! ❤
I don't know why you thought you weren't crafty Brooke, you definitely are! Great job on both faux Moody and the tree. Next thing you know, you will be doing other types of crafts. I just started paper crafting this year after getting a Cricut for making cards, so you never know what one craft project will inspire you to do next!
Thank you, Brooke! It was wonderful seeing you and Jason together doing your own thing. The fan is awesome. Your tree came out quite nice!! Cats really love you. God bless you all. ❤️❤️
Hi Brooke you’re getting very creative and it’s working so well. Great use of materials looks awesome and me thinks the kitties are going to love the scratchy trunk lots. Well done also the fans look awesome. Take care God bless 🙏💕🎄
Hi Brooke you did a fantastic job on your tree for someone who says they're not crafty You're definitely crafty I love the teamwork that you and Jason have with helping one another when ones in need can't wait for your next craft project Catch you on the next one Have a wonderful day God bless❤❤
Again, great job on the christmas tree for the cats,Brooke. I agree with you. You may not have been crafty, but you sure are crafty now. LOVE FROM IOWA! 😊❤❤❤
Brooke the two “crafty projects” you have worked on and completed are so cute and definitely qualified you as Crafty! Such a great job! Thanks for sharing and keep it up!❤
Just an idea. The tree is perfect! But...if you wanna make it even more cat friendly. You could add shelving onto the balls! So they can climb it an sleep on a ball shelf(s)! Using the things you have on hand is soooooo perfect! I love that you show the world you don't have to go buy things. You can use your brain and come up with amazing things!
You definitely have a lot of creativity when it comes to crafting! My family and I love your yard decoration of Moody! And your Christmas tree. Turned out great!
Brooke, you could get some of those battery powered strip lights and attach them to the back of the tree....it would light it up from behind ...and if you drilled random little holes into the tree, they could shine through the holes from behind. No electricity needed or wires showing....you think? EDIT: I just checked Amazon and they have battery powered Christmas lights with a remote ....they could easily be attached to the back of the tree with little holes for the individual lights to shine through. You don't even have to drill a ton of holes ...just enough to simulate Christmas lights ...the rest could give off light from behind the tree. 😊 Just a thought. 😊
Yes, or you could get one one of those strips light that has the sticky tape on the back and it could put out a glow from behind it and all around the tree . Could be a little night light for the kitties. I also think it would look good too cut a star out of wood and attach it to the top . ?
Very good tree Brooke! I have a Christmas tree made out of pallets that my husband did for me back in 2016 and every year right after Thanksgiving, I pull it out of my shed, put it out front and turn on the lights. My husband has since passed, but I’m grateful for the tree and the memories he left me with.
I think for a bit so crafty person .. you did a wonderful job on the tree !! So cute ! It’s great the teamwork between you and Jason is great !! I love what all you , Jason and MaryCarl do on the Farm ! Thank You for sharing. Fan looks great .. Boss Lady Peaches will not want to leave her stall … nice fluffy bed for cold and big fan for heat !! Lol. Love it
Brooke....you are extremely talented and crafty. We all have our area of what inspires us. I absolutely love making something from nothing. So I get your vibe 💕
Yep, you got your craft on today! It's such a sweet gesture for the kitties to get their own tree (that doubles as a scratchin' post). Great job, and great video, as usual. ❤❤❤
Brooke, you are more "crafty" than you think! The tree turned out Awesome! I love the scratching post base. I never would have thought of that! Merry Christmas, kitties🎄
I love all the projects you've done! You are way more crafty than you give yourself credit for. What a great idea for a tree. I ❤️ Moody too! And Roll Tide Jason! 😊
Love your tree Brooke! So pretty, and I love that shade of green, goes great with the rustic look. If you are looking for a thrifty finish for your bow, try some pinecones, tied with a colorful ribbon, and placed in the center, (free or mostly free materials) and it would finish your bow off nicely.
You did it again. Your talent is just amazing. A beautiful tree/cat toy. I kept thinking, "This is something Marycarl is usually involved with. Then I remembered she doesn't want to be in the videos anymore. We completely respect her wishes. That tree is perfect for the barn, or any place else. Moody out by the fruit stand would be great. Thank you again for sharing your time and talent.
Glad everyone is doing great. I am nursing a painful broken collarbone. Can't take the Rx pain med it just made me feel sick. Tylenol all the way I guess. Have fun all.
Brooke you are definitely crafty!! ❤ Not only do you get ideas but you make them a reality! The Christmas tree turned out great! The ceiling fans are huge but scaled perfectly for the barn.
Brooke you are incredibly crafty and part of that is you are very innovative as well using things you already had around the farm!!! Very cool! Love the christmas tree and looks like the scratching post is a hit!!!
You certainly ARE crafty! I love it! And you didn't have to buy anything. You have to know that we're all waiting to see what you come up with next, and you can do it. Even the milking room looks ready for Christmas. Excellent job, Brooke!
Brooke, I beg to differ with you, but you are in fact a very crafty person! The Christmas tree in the milk room is adorable and you did a great job! 🎄❤️❤️❤️
I love how you're taking things around the farm and repurposing them. I have some pallets that I had for another idea, but now I'm thinking I'll make some trees for outside decor! Great job!!!❤
Hi Brooke! You are crafty, but you have never thought of yourself that way, because you are so busy doing other things! Great ideas and end results! I can see the cats using the tree bulbs to climb up the nifty climbing wall you made them! Great cat playground toy! Thanks for the excellent video!
This is so great! It has such a classic and charming look to it. WOW. And how gratifying to have one of the cats immediately use the scratching post! heheh! I'm really glad that you're having brainstorms about doing things like this.
Brooke, you 'nailed' it❣ I love how it turned our. You are so creative and talented in repurposing items to make a beautiful Christmas Tree 🎄in the milk room! Jason did a super job on his project and I'm a Big Fan of it ❣ It will surely Moooove a lot of air in the barn. What a wonderful video. It really put a huge smile on my face and then the end to seeing the scratching trunk being used. 🥰🥰🤗🤗🐈🐈
Beautiful 🎄Ms. Brooke! This holiday is all about the "Spirit of the Season " !🎀Love, Joy and Peace ! 🕊 THAT is my PRAYER🙏for this planet .🌎 🙏Placing that request in the CAPABLE hands of CREATOR GOD .✝🛐🕎🙏
That Christmas tree is so stinking cute. What a brilliant idea. And contrary to what you think Brooke, you are one very crafty person. This makes me want to make one of these pallet trees now. I LOVE ❤, LOVE ❤️ , LOVE ❤️ IT!!!!!!
I totally get it, Brooke! Ive been sewing clothing and other projects since 7th grade. I'm almost 67. People have been telling me since early adulthood that I should sell my projects, but that would make it a JOB, not a pleasure! Same with gardening...although I once had a job installing flower gardens. Just do your crafty things when you're INSPIRED to make them. Less pressure, more fun!😊❤
Hey Brooke, great job with the tree! Something to consider would be changing the "ornaments" on the tree throughout the year. Like snowflakes for January, hearts for February, shamrocks or rainbows with a pot of gold for March, Easter eggs for April. You get where I'm going. Maybe Mary Carl could get in on the ornaments too. In the meantime the cats sure will enjoy it. 😊 Have a safe, joyful, and blessed Christmas.
WOW❣️❣️🎄🎄 Brooke, you made an adorable Christmas tree out of that pallet. It turned out entirely different than I was expecting it to be, especially the ornaments and you are getting very artsy -crafty and you should be proud of yourself❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ When it was laying down on the floor, while you were painting on it, it did not look nearly as big as it turned out to be. I was very very surprised when used to do it up against the wall, and it was much taller than you are. It truly was a unique and incredible Christmas tree and I’m glad you thought of the cats by putting in the twine on the trunk of the tree. It really looks sharp and it was cool to see that they were already using it.😊♥️♥️♥️♥️
You are amazing!! That tree is perfect for the barn's milking room. 🎄 It was so sweet to add the scratching post at the bottom of the tree for the kitties. 🐱 You aren't on your way to being crafty, you ARE crafty! I think I see a new business starting. 🤔🤩
