As an ex RAF Police I am very impressed at how the RAF Police dealt with this. Very well mannered and explained everything very clearly to you and also were happy to answer your questions and even when they knew they couldn’t comment answered in a polite way. Fine example of how to deal with the public. Well done to those guys. Keep up the good work
Quality from serving personnel apart from the one deadhead. Who spoilt an otherwise enjoyable interaction. How do they get to think that way. One wonders how the deadhead would react if he was treated the same way.
You are very good with your interactions . The world has changed and everything we can see with our eyes in public can be filmed . MOD plod did a good job 👍🏻
If you call that an assault, you’ve obviously never seen an assault you snowflake. You fraudidiots will have to get used to being pushed aside more often. Come to my business premises and see what happens.
@@exposeandeducate life and death situation if a primitive goes paws on -it could be your obituary we are reading here instead if you had lost your balance and and cracked your head on the kerb - - let all laugh at you dead shall we a big joke yes
I did 33 years in the army and that old guy that came out and grabbed you was way out of line. What I do have to say about the way you didn't want it chased up formally is that people that behave like that, if they're not dragged over the coals for doing things like that, they will simply do it again tomorrow to someone else. I will say in closing that I can guarantee you, that you're not the first person he has done that to.
I had a sgt Major, when in Kososo tried to fit this lowly Corporal up. He was a Scouser in an Irish Regiment. Anyway him and a Csgt tried the big I am stuff. Unbeknownst to the Sgt Major I knew his girlfriend and where she lives. I said words to the effect anything happens to me, there is a thing called street justice. That soon changed his tune. Was a nice feeling lol.
It really wasn't that serious bud. Spun round by the shoulder. Not struck in any way so I felt the inconvenience of having to attend the police station for an interview was punishment enough. Thanks for commenting
This is why we love our armed forces, army, Marines and other defence forces. Thank you for protecting this amazing country and making your family proud
I agree with you that making people have a criminal record is not a nice thing. If they admit their fault and realise that they did wrong sometimes is all that's necessary. Especially as it was only a minor assault.
A BRILLIANT AUDIT, just found you, and subscribed. The 3 MP's were outstanding in their professionalism and a credit to the RAF. I would like to think when they leave the service they would bring their high quality into the regular Police and show them how its done. The perfect example of how to interact with people..
I disagree with your choice. If you were to assault a peace officer, military member or security staff, they would have not been so kind. Both in the US and the UK, there needs to be a high level of expectation on those who are given power and privilege. To whom much is given, much is expected in return. When the penalty is high, people have more motivation not violate the rules.
I appreciate you taking the time to comment and in normal circumstances I would have pursued further but it was nothing really and I think me shouting at him and the way he reacted may of just been enough. I guess I'm the bigger man for not reacting with violence and letting it go the way I did. I hope so anyway 😉
@@exposeandeducate I commend you for your polite and calm auditing style. Polite but firm exercise of one's rights is the best path. It destroys the counter narrative that an auditor or a protestor is hostile, nasty and a threat.
Personally I'd would have thrown the book at that clown criminal record or not this numpty would have took you all the way if it was the other way round
He was an angry prat by doing that to you, but I'm glad you took the action you took and let him off the hook from possibly losing his job and getting a criminal conviction. It shows you have a heart. Respect!
Think if it was the other way around I doubt he would of stopped any charges being made. Also laws are there for a reason. Going of what we witnessed he won't learn from this. Also being a member of the forces he should know better and should be made an example of what not to do.
@@zigzagtoes violence on innocent civilians from those within the police force should be an automatic dismissal and them not allowed back in. Far to many times does this behavour go on and unpunished. This is what divides us and the police is there behaviour and arrogance with uncontrollable aggression and bullying. There is not 1 law for the police and 1 for us there all accountable for there actions and should be brought to court for justice served on them.
i flew to this camp years ago , then i was told to pick up a train warrant for catterick 7 hour journy ,I met 2 guys in the canteen at 7am, they said we are flying to catterrick at 11am got a free lift 1hr 30 minutes ,better than the train .
Hi E & E, thank you very much for this update, every auditing encounter that I see where someone who should know better behaves like a complete idiot and actually assaults the photographer we always wonder what actually happens afterwards, therefore it is very good to get this sort of follow-up. I am particularly pleased to read that in this case the attacker was persuaded that addressing his bad behaviour was all that you wanted, this is really far more effective than judicial punishment. Cheers, Richard.
I think it was fair to behave as you did. The guy was well out of order but getting a reprimand was ok if he admitted it. It was that old fashioned word honourable of you. I’m glad you are back and well.
RAF military police may have been polite BUT he is wearing a thin blue line flag which is disrespectful to all those killed in action serving the UNION FLAG Thank you all services for your service I am an ex-serviceman NI
How is it disrespectful? The RAFP have lost some of their own in hostile environments, trust me they’re wholly aware of where respect lies. The thin blue line purely represents law enforcement.
There's a world of difference with so called Professionals and the real PROFESSIONALS when handling a situation, respect guys ;-) p.s. Hope your mending well E&E 👍
Everyone was so polite and professional, exactly what you'd expect from one of the worlds top respected forces. However, it only take one dickhead to ruin it for everyone else. I'm so glad you took it all the way and made that idiot come begging not to be given a criminal record and possible loss of his current position. Nice work, keep it up - RESPECT
Very very disappointed to see a thin blue line badge on a member of the armed forces. WTH? Defacing the flag under which they serve. Surely this isn’t Kings Regs. Did you ask about that EAE.?
@@exposeandeducate of course. Not a criticism. Just pointing it out from the comfort of my armchair!! I’m unaware that officers could wear a defamed flag I found it upsetting. The young man seemed pleasant but I perceive it as an insult to those members of the armed forces who died under the correct flag.
They will never learn unless they get as hard as they give! That means prosecution. Lets not forget that could have been a child, an eldeerly person or someone from some other vulnerable group! He would not show the same kindness to you as you showed to him and he looks too old to change his spots! Has the guy in the blue t-shirt lost a lot of muscle that he has had to sew the shoulders up? Strange get up but nice man! As for the little guy - imagine if he can to do that to a fellow countryman what he can do to a civilian in any country he goes to peace keep or other. He needs an investigation! The MP's are a nice pair which is refreshing in todays society! My father was a desert rat and caught in the Siege of Tobruk - he got the George Cross for his special operations sneaking through enemy lines to get water and supplies after a full days fighting while in that siege; he also got a Kings comendation for Bravery. One of my brothers went to Sandhurst and to be honest I would rather go in to battle with my mother than him.
Thank you for sharing some of your family history. Much appreciated. I gave the guy a break what can I say? Fancy being nice. Get where you are coming from but it really wasn't that serious. Cheers
Military police were so good, very professional 👏 the little prat that assaulted you must of done that before and got away with it. He will get the piss taken out of him on the base for this.
You did yourself proud there the interaction of you and the service police (who we used to call snowdrops) was brilliant. you dont ask you dont get is the mantra of lots of things. Serving personnel who use violence are not worth the number on their id card let alone the money they get each month. In terms of what the punishment would be if he went up before his immediate superior depends on his rank and what he does. but That would be looked at very closely by legal teams. Judging by his age i would say he is either a senior NCO non commissioned officer or an Officer of some rank. Well done and glad your back
I respect the decision to not pursue based upon the service officer admitting the assault however I personally would have hoped for genuine remorse to be offered and shown. I would also have hoped that the serving officer would not have been tipped off that admission would see him off as of course it would be the easy way out. Somehow I feel this is not the last we have heard about the serving officer.
You could be right on this one. I get the impression he wasn't tipped of but went for interview not knowing the outcome hence he took a solicitor. In truth, he probably got tipped off prior to the interview at the station. Thanks
UK civilian pork could learn a lot from these two kids, and their sgt. Personally I would not have let the hypocritical mr violence get away with a telling off. His attitude was totally out of order. Peace
Great work man you acted completely professional, it’s a pity the person who tried to assault you couldn’t behave properly !!! Did you notice how fast he scurried off after you assaulted his ears with your old voice !!! The MP’s were great and very professional a really good video with a bit of everything flung in with an assault as an extra !!! Great work !!!
@@exposeandeducate sorry it was an auto correct I meant to say loud voice and must have made a mistake and it has been auto corrected to old !!! Sorry my bad !!! Great video !!!
And 4 of us in Athens enquired about 4 flights Athens to heathrow ,£168 each , just to much , So we hired a vw jetta estate for the weekend £58 ,00 friday to monday from Avis ,ragged it all the way to calais in 26 hours left it Avis calais ,and got on the ferry . never heard a thing .
You don't let them kind of people get away with that if you let them get away with it once they will do it again if it was you that did that to him they would have put you so far in jail sunlight would not have you food for thought 🤔🤔👍🇧🇧
A great representation of the RAF professional and polite it’s a shame it’s not the same in the police force, I wouldn’t say they’re all bad but the ones that are taint it for the rest
His behaviour was disgusting especially how all the other people were nice and professional well apart from the bellend on the bike. The officers were very professional in handling your complaint.
What an unusual reaction. Do you suffer some kind of medical condition? If someone touches me - for no apparent reason - I politely tell them that I do not appreciate it. If it's someone touching me to get my attention, then I can live with that.
No one has the right to put hands on anyone else simple. He may well have got more violent so I reacted in a way that he could not misunderstand. If you misunderstand then I suggest you learn to respect others and never touch anyone inappropriately
@@exposeandeducate I agree with your comments that to intentionally touch someone is an assault, however if everyone stuck strictly to that the courts would be full of people because they came into contact with one another while doing everyday activities, e.g. shopping, attending a concert or sporting event. With you, the impression is you were in that location awaiting to be challenged and your reaction was, in my lowly opinion, over the top. I thought at first you had been manhandled to the ground, so I was very surprised to find that wasn't so. What did the assault amount to? On which part of your body were you assaulted? What did your assailant use? I am very sceptical as to your real motives for videoing what, in some cases, may be sensitive locations. The scenario of videoing military locations, just to be challenged seems illogical.
Where you in Army Catering cor, ACC .I joind in 1979 ,All my mates were punk rockers not my thing .Thats what i missed when i got out all the food the free gym learn boxing karate Weights anything you want its all free ,and the hours you work are nothing 8am then naffi breakat 10 30 then dinner 12 ,till 2pm. then finish at 4,30 easy day .
Is the male RAF plod wearing the gang flag? On his left shoulder is the red, white and blue, unless I have imagined it. I've never seen MP's wear the gang badge.
LEGALS All very obvious - with one legal exception. I could be wrong, I was not there and angles can be very deceiving (ask any magician 😉)… but it looks to me like the M-Plod would have seen the assault. My first questions would have been to ask if they’d seen the assault, and if they had dashcam. They said “it looked / sounded like there was an altercation”. So, what does / did that mean? He saw what exactly? And if they saw something why wasn’t the CIB # immediately arrested? Beats me. If plod see an assault then must take appropriate action. Just a question. # Cock in Blue.
Strange thing I agree. It happened outside of their duristiction so became a problem for Thames Valley police apparently. They did give statements though. Thanks for your comments 😁
The armed forces fight to preserve our rights . You do not expect them to be the very ones to restrict or abuse those rights , far less assault you whilst trying to do it .
problem is, although jogger no.1 sung your praises, he omitted to back you up by telling the military police that the old fella grabbed you, strange that, isn`t it............the "old fella" is probably higher rank, and again, we face the age old problem , junior`s scared to report their superiors .....................
