@@BlueBird-wb6kb "Rightfull" ? You lost the city 566 years ago... I'm no Turkish, I don't support Erdoan policy, but if people still claims territories lost 5 centuries ago, then the world is gonna face another world war... Furthermore, actual Greece is not the Byzantine Empire (or eastern roman empire). Sure, it's one of its heirs, but not the only one. Would you say that Italy and the Roman Empire are the same thing ? Then Italy could claim all Europe, North Africa and Near East...
@@alioshax7797 I mean a lot of Anatolia and Thrace was ethnically Greek until well the Turks decided to... "cleanse the non Turks." Even after ww1 Greece was given Thrace, Constantinople and Izmir as they were heavily Greek but lost it during the Greco-Turkish war.
@@perkele2040 the Thrace was indeed given to Greece, but not Constantinople, and not Izmir neither. You should check your Sèvres treaty (1920, near Paris) Constantinople is demilitarized, the detroits fall under international autority, while the Greek army took Izmir during the Greeko-Turkish War, then lost it later with the treaty of Lausanne (Swizerland) I'm not here to say who's right and who's wrong, but I mean, Turks of Greece and Greeks of Turks have been "exchanged" (in a terrible way). I mean, there is now two independant, developped countries, it should be time to move one, you don't think ? Both Turks and Greeks should stop this little game of "this is mine" "no, it's mine"
@@alioshax7797 they should but they won't, that the thing about history so long as something happened, someone will remember. Especially since Turkey denies a lot of the atrocities it did to Greeks and other ethnic minorities, Greece will always have distain for Turkey, and then in recent history when Turkey invaded Cyprus, a country a majority greek which they then turkified the hell out of it. Greece and Turkey will always be at odds with each other, just because of historical reasons, but they aren't the worse as they are both part of NATO and are probably the biggest Frenemies probably leaning more towards enemies than friends but still.
I love playing as Afghanistan. Currying favor between the great powers, trying to survive the great game, and modernizing into a secular state, are some of the most interesting things to do in vic 2
How to Genocide in Victoria 2: 1) recruit all non accepted culture Soliders as irregular 2) collect the irregular stack in a province with low supply 3) boost soilder with focus in provinces with non accepted cultures 4) wait for attrition to kill the irregular stack. move the sack for more attrition. declear war and fight with the stack. 5) ??? 6) profit
About administrative efficiency, I've been playing a few campaigns and it seems as though my territories get various benefits from administrative efficiency beyond just taxation. This is things such as being able to recruit more brigades, getting more brigades when mobilizing, faster job changes based on my directions, and just a general sense of greater control. I'm wondering if this is true or I'm just mixing this up with other modifiers in the game. Is anyone else noticing this?
Form Poland-Lithuania in Victoria 2. Start as Russia, release Poland (as a puppet, don't give them Independence), win Independence yourself, and form Poland Lithuania and become a great empire.
You know. I bet iSorrows thought that if he played a shitty country, we would stop begging for Banat. You’d think he’d learn after artillery only, that we will never stop. But I’ve got a novel idea. Forget Banat, he should play Tartarstan
12:39 I once killed so many Americans that after 7 years of war there population was 5 million lower than at the start, new York had a babyboom at the start of the war.
