The most frightening part about this, is that the "house rules" are probably on par with being equally as convoluted as modern Yu-Gi-Oh's actual rules. 😂😂😂
@@AviChetriArtwork Magic the Gathering came first, then the Pokemon card game, then YuGiOh. As an experienced player of all three, I consider Pokemon to be kind of halfway between Magic and YGO.

I love the concept of having two people play a game as normal, but you have a third person who doesn't know the game try to identify all of the rule on the fly. XD
The card game shows aren't usually my cup if tea, but this was amazing. I laughed so hard when Shayne's tan did 50 damage, even though it was Damien's card's "special ability".
@@alexanderhalvorson9950 its the phase immediately after your draw phase and before your main phase, it allows for any card effects to take action or be resolved before a player’s main phase begins

I love their reactions to Noah's rules. You can tell they 've both at least experienced the game from their reactions and them using card sleeves. Damian seems to be a pretty big player of it.
Ehhhh usually having card sleeves don't make you experienced. Like how engravings on a gun doesn't give you any advantage. I can say by their reaction they kinda cringed abit xD And those are just regular protective sleeves so it's kinda just there to prevent bending
@@koreancowboy42 card sleeves are used by long time players to keep their cards safe and clean as well as preventing them from sticking together and making it easier and faster to draw. You won't find a single person at a tournament without them.
Coming from a person who actually plays the game in tournaments, this was absolutely delightful. And as different as the rules are from the real ones. Its not as confusing as the actual TCG.

just remember when you pendulum you have to stand across the room with a yo-yo and try to knock the opponents cards off the field without hitting them in the face and you're fine
I like how Damian said that shayne declared he was doing something so he get a penalty when a turn later he did the exact same thing like 5 times in a row.
In this case, I don't think it would matter since they're playing by someone else's rules. And if they were playing casually, I think it'd be okay since the card was made for a reason
@@JarieSuicune Oh I know this isn't a tournament, I was just saying based on the fact that they are playing by Noah's rules, tourney rules are obsolete and don't matter, then Damien playing the Swords of Revealing Light is ok. Shayne could've challenged it if he wanted to. But I hear you, if I wanted to play tournament rules, I'd play in a tournament
Actually, I'd call them a fair upgrade on some points. Especially the limit on attacking only adjacent targets! That was pretty sweet! Makes me think of the fun in Triple battles in Pokemon Gen 5 & 6.
This was hilarious and I loved how everyone (especially Shayne) reacted to everything. The only thing that annoyed me was them understanding swords of revealing lights but not concealing light lmao. We need at least a few more duels though!!
This NEEDS to be a recurring thing. And Noah must be the rules master. This was brilliant. Also, Pokemon or Magic: The Gathering are good candidates to do next.
It’s so fun knowing how both these decks work and hearing the cheeky statements that they say like “is there a graveyard” because if so then shayne can’t do his combo…but Noah has no clue Lmaoo
