Who else escapes to 90's movies when they're having a bad day...or week? It's my go to! Back to a time before everyone had a phone in their hand. Before we all got so disconnected. Ya know what I mean? This is my current escape today.
The vibe from this movie just puts you at ease and makes you value and cherish the simple yet beautful things about life. It also makes you remenisce on how beautiful times were before social media ushered in and became the focal point of our current times
I maybe a proud millennial. But I sometimes feel like I was born in the wrong generation. And a movie like this makes me wish I lived long enough to experience the 90’s fully.
Stop right there 🛑 If you are just another person jumping from trailer to trailer in search for a good movie this is the one ! I have just watched it and the only regret I have is that I didn't do it earlier. Amazing movie.
I love this movie. I always cry at the end when Tom Hanks says "if only" before she's going to get ready to meet her mystery man online. Only to learn it was him ! Such a romantic love story 💗 I wish Meg Ryan would come back to acting. I just loved her movies. If only things like this really worked out as such ~~~ 💗 Beautiful ❤️
In 1998, when this movie was first released in theaters, I was just 18 years young. Once it was available on video, I specifically remember going to a local Blockbuster store for their “weekend rental” special. My friends and I watched this film half a dozen times before returning it to avoid any late fees. It was one of those “feel good” movies that will forever remain in my top five for best 90s films.
I’m 30 and I remember AOL chat rooms. One of my first exposures to the dangers of social media. I discovered this movie as a college student a couple years ago. Sleepless in Seattle and the musical She Loves Me motivated me to want to check it out. I was going through a post high school phase seeking out 90’s pop culture I missed out on. And You’ve Got Mail is so sweet!
You 've got mail is one of best romantic comedies . This is actually remake of 1940 movie the shop around the corner with James Stewart which also good.
Searched this after watching While You Were Sleeping movie trailer. Lol! I’ve watched both films and they’re wonderful! Both films came out when I was just a baby! But I love me some well-written, decent and tasteful romantic movies. Which is why 90’s to early 2000 movies are my go to to watch everytime I crave to watch something good! Where are my fellow 90’s babies who are with me on this?? 🥰
i remember watching the trailer as a kid (I was already 8 by then) but never saw it. I'm writing down all the 90s rom-coms that I missed back then so I can binge next weekend lol!
I was 5 when this movie came out. But I discovered it when I was 24. I was going through a post high school 90’s pop culture phase. Took me a long time to get over it. And then four years later I discovered While You Were Sleeping while looking for a new holiday romcom to watch. I’ve seen You’ve Got Mail twice.
I like the atmosphere in this movie ... I have watched this movie many times and I feel happy suddenly when I watch this movie... all is perfect... hopefully there will be u've got mail 2024... ❤❤❤
Man, I used to watch this with my mom quite a bit, it's one of her fave movies. She loves her Meg Ryan rom coms after all. I also grew up with Toy Story 1 and 2 as a kid. Funnily, Tom Hanks stars in all these movies, and it's funny I never realized they all had that fact in common until now.
I’ve been something of a Tom Hanks fan myself since Toy Story. He’s not too shabby of a filmography. He’ll always be Sheriff Woody to me. I discovered this and Sleepless in Seattle in 2017. But then over a year ago I finally got the idea of watching When Harry Met Sally. So I know I see why Meg was chose to voice Anya.
Bro from 6:30 to 11:00 Pm i've watched both Sleepless in Seattle and You've got mail.....they are just so adorable together....the lads in the 90's had fun surely 🥺
First time watching this movie and I really enjoyed it. I'm like not a big fan of these kind of cheesy movies but this damn pandemic got me binge watching romantic/comedy movies from the 90s lately. I liked it.
Dave Chappelle is a transphobe and all-around hater. Tom Hanks is all class. Their age difference means nothing, and don't ever associate Tom Hanks with that clown Chappelle.
@@FreshSpecimens Americans think dating with a 7 year age gap or higher means the older person is a predator, even if both people are consenting adults. They have weird hang ups.
This movie is so charming and also so hilarious... in that scene at the supermarket her awkwardness always cracks me up xD Meg Ryan is so likeable, she can be super funny or deeply moving like in Courage Under Fire.
@@BWVidventures These for now, hope u will like them. Sleepless in Seattle The Dreamers (Not sure if you like the concept) Perfume the story of murderer Fault in our stars Limitless 2011 Perfect sense
@@engrumarkhan thankyouuuu pal! ✨ cant wait to watch limitless- bradley💓 and perfect sense and the dreamers is like a comedy one?hahahaha saw them in trailer.
I mean my whole attitude was that there's nothing necessarily wrong with meeting in real life if neither one of them knows where the other actually _lives._ But then I saw. Oh. Crap. He knows where she actually _lives._
If I have to give this movie between 0 and 10 I give it at 8..👍 but one of my favorite favorite movies of all the time by Tom Hanks but this movie I'm about to say Tom Hanks didn't win academy award for it but it's a heart touching childhood film and adults can connect to it too this movie by Tom Hanks is..... The movie "BIG" 🗿... Me like gum gum
One day on 2002 a friend of mine bring this movie to watch during weekend. I was like "no, i dont really enjoy romance movie". But they insist that this is a good movie. Nevertheless tom hanks did a good job in the movie, and i like it.
This movie is really stuck in 1998 showcasing technology that can only happen in this decade. Kids today won't understand watching it and believing it's a 90s period piece.
I Know Tom Hanks As When He Was The Voice Of Woody The Cowboy Doll From "Toy Story". And Meg Ryan As When She Does The Voice Of Anastasia From The Movie "Anastasia".
