If i had a nickel everytime Porygon2 and Shadow Gallade were on the same team on this video, i'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Imagine conceding a match to a cubchoo🤣🤣🤣 Love when you were like " and they bring in....uhhh...idk what this pokemon is called" that's the epitome of spice at that point
Let's analyse these teams on spice and gameplay. They will get a rating out of 10 (5 for gameplay and 5 for spice.) Battle 1: S. Haryama, S. Magnezone, S. Mawile Playing their way around a bad lead and mawile goes on a nuking spree, love it! 3 very spicy pokemon as well. Final rating: 9/10 Battle 2: Luxary, Galar Zapdos, Gengar Going into a rough lead and pretty bad swap but triple legacy gengar saves the day. Beautiful Sludge wave nuke leads to comfortable win. Final rating: 8.8/10 Battle 3: S. Nidoqueen, S. Latios, S. Latias Extra spice points for double nukes nidoqueen. The latios and latias duo is something that has been done many times before but Latias nukes pelliper, which is amazing. Final rating: 8.6/10 4th battle: S. Gallade, Porygon2, Porygon-Z Cool ABB team with porygon line. Beautiful catch to win the game and hilarious BM at the end. Extra spice points for the theme. Final rating: 9.2/10 Battle 5: Ledian, Cubchoo, Magnemite Incredible spice and dedication to get these pokemon to lvl 50. Great plays, using ledian as a damage sponge, and venusaur quits when it sees cubchoo. Final rating: 9.6/10 Battle 6: S. Hitmonlee, S. Sandlash, Purified Lairon Playing around a corebreaker, nuking noctowl, and Lairon is absolute spice. Also correctly sacrificing Sandlash as it had no use really. 1hp and a dream as well. Final rating: 9.5/10 Battle 7: S. Dragonite, Milotic, Wailord This team is already spicy, but only throwing hyper beams boosts it even more. Perfectly catching the weather ball and shielding the blizzard, which is exceptional reading of the opponent. Final score: 9.5/10 Battle 8: S. Tyranitar, S. Gallade, porygon2 Unfortunately Zap cannon gets shielded but Gallade puts in a lot of work. Super satisfying nuke on the diggersby as well. Extra spice points for Ttar. Final rating: 8.9/10 Battle 9: Salazzle, Quilladin, S. Shelgon Dominant lead, decent switch. Quilladin is super spicy and so is Shelgon. Twister is really rubbish but they still make it work. In the end its a fairly easy win. Final rating: 9.1/10 Battle 10: Smeargle, Sallazzle, S. Hypno Holy spice, Lvl 50 smeargle. How long did it take to win with that? Interesting plays with salazzle which probably made things harder but nice catch to win. Final rating: 9.3/10 Battle 11: Cherrim Overcast form, Charizard, Vanilluxe Charizard isn't spicy on its own but I love the theme. Nuking Sableye and crazy close endgame. This gets extra spice points because Cherrim is in overcast form and takes out Registeel with resisted moves. Final rating: 8.8/10 Battle 12: Litleo, Rockruff, Alolan Raichu Another crazy XL, this time rockruff. Nuetral lead, running fire Fang on Litleo which is not the best moveset but that adds to the spice. Rockruff closes strong. Final rating: 9.4/10 Battle 13: Zebstrika, Ponyta, Rapidash Fun theme team and surprise nuke with Zebstrika. The opponent is running an awful moveset on charizard but that doesn't really matter. Final rating: 8.7/10 Battle 14: S. Skuntank, S, Houndoom, S. Liepard Mostly a fast move beatdown. Good calling baits and sacking Liepard when it was low. Not really sure why the opponent would no shield at the end though. Final rating: 9/10 Battle 15: Masquerain, Darmanitan, Shelgon The opponent gets destroyed by Shelgon and Masquerain is a very cool pick. Unfortunately throwing on alignment but otherwise well played. Final rating: 9.2/10 Overall, 15 spice Lords dedicated to their stuff!
QOTD: I used hundo buddy XL charm BB/WC lead (flower cap) Raichu in Ultra Holiday Cup a couple of weeks ago, it generally took Goon/Tina/Walrein/Zard leads off guard by/before first tap
They should turn the dragon type move "twister" into a feather dance clone. It would give that move some actual play! Terrible damage but lowers opponents attack by two stages.
Gyrados would jump to #1 quickly... Already kinda broken being the only non dragon "dragon" that can take on charm users and deal support effective to other dragons lol with twister and crunch Gary would shake up the meta like walrein did and run the ML! But yeah twister fuggn sucks
@@localdadinyourarea2039 In Premier yes it would make it OP. How about open Master though? I believe it gives it more play there. Ultra & GL it would give Gyrados a boost forsure. Also, You'd have to take a move away if you are running Twister. I'd assume that move is crunch? Also, here's other Pokemon that can learn the move if they buff it.... (in general, not in pokemon go) Dragonaire, Dragonite, Milotic, Seadra, Kingdra, Dragalge, Rayquaza, Mantine, Pelipper. P.S I'm fine with Garydos as is currently as well especially against those Charm They ruin this game anyway!
Kudos to everyone in those battles. Every team submitted (and even some of the opponents) were out of this world, stuff I would never even think of using. We’ll done all.
This man's really out here liking every comment. QOTD: I've seen a few open Great League Ledians. Maybe not as spicy as some of the others, but I'd love to build one myself at some point.
Congratulations to all of these winners👑👑 Ledian, Cubchoo and Magnemite was the best🤩🤩 Smeargle team was very OP and I even saw the battle in HomeSliceHenry
I also have a lvl 51 costume Cubchoo. Except mine is a Shundo. Lol It was my first ever Shundo. I got it from a non lucky trade. I didn't evolve it this year's event tho because it means more to me as the Cubchoo. It was also my very first fully XL'd Mon. I actually played around with it a couple sets & kept getting wrecked I do remember a satisfying one shot of a shadow Vic with Icy wind. QOTD: Honestly it's hard to remember any single one because I know I've seen a few really unique mons on my opponents teams. But for me personally I would go with my XL 98% shiny Spinda. I also XL'd my Shundo Dratini before evolving it & played around in GL with it. I ran the full line up & kept getting matched with charmers. Lol Awesome video Callum. I've always loved the content but here lately it has been out of this world man. Thank you
Wow these battles were super entertaining I loved them all! For qotd I’d have to say my shadow hundo Cradily, I ran it in open UL and nuked so many Charizards and Talonflames it was super satisfying.
My favorite moment in the video was at the 8:35min mark when that Dragonite Hyper Beamed the crap out that Togekis 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Especially from a shadow Dragonite in the Great League of all leagues 😆. I re-watched that part about a dozen times back to back its still hilarious
QOTD : Magnemite , machop , trapinch , pacharisu , gible , eevee , mudkip , alolan sandshrew , alolan grimer and so many more! I just love to run spicy baby pokemon instead of meta pokemons👍
The craziest XL Pokemon I've run into in GBL was an XL Scraggy in Open Great League a few seasons ago (season 8 I think). Unfortunately, it had Rock Smash instead of Feint Attack, and was only able to reach 1 move before my Pidgeot farmed it down.
A Magnemite in the GL is quite surprising. These teams make My Funny team of Gust Staraptor/Froslass/Alolan Graveler, or Kanto Starters, or Alakazam on a team.
Is there a Spicier Pogo video out there?? Y’all weren’t messing around this time! It was nice to be featured but I’m inspired to go even spicier next time cuz some of you got real creative 😌
Is running Pangoro and Hyperbeam obstagoon spicy enough for a future video Callum? I tend to land them a lot as I use that team a lot in Ultra league so I’ll try to record some next time it’s around and see if I can make it in!
Oh yeah I run kanto Muk with Sludge Wave instead of crunch to cover for the double fairy and double fighting weaknesses. Only thing is coballion leads are an immediate top left haha
Craziest XL I’ve seen was a level 50 sirfetch in the open master league 2 days after XLs dropped. Keep in mind the auto XL per >100km trade didn’t exist yet
By far the spiciest battle *has* to be the Ledian/Magnemite/Cubchoo team, all 3 are super spicy XL Pokemon which require heaps of resources and XLs, and that battle was against an opponent with a semi-decent team and moves on their Pokemon. Mad props to the trainer for developing the 3 of those Pokemon.
You just barely missed out unfortunately! I left it out more so because of the play from the opponent than anything you did. They lead lapras into Hitmonchan & then swapped in an Obstagoon which basically handed you the win instantly.
As someone who has run Quilladin in Silph and a bit in GBL, it's a pretty decent Pokémon! Quite bulky and spammy, without too many walls in non-open formats
Thank you! Went on a really good run the last 3 days gaining around 500 elo from 2300-2800, until today where unfortunately it seems the meta has shifted away from the grass types & there are lots of triple water teams that obviously destroy my double fire team. GGs tho & good luck with the rest of the season!
