Seriously? Kushina wasn't mad at Sakura for hitting Naruto? Thats bullshit! She hit him over nothing most of the times! And Kushina agreeing to the beatings is NOT what she would do!
It's basically the main reason the everyone was kinda upset naruto got with hinata, which again was out of left field. Kushina and sakura are very alike, and they have a better connection.

I will never understand why naruto loved Sakura instead of hinata or any other girl all she did was beat him at every turn it’s basically an abuse relationship who would love that.
