The casting of the actor playing Lucas was spot on. He looks a lot like Ste. I feel sorry for him. He's suffering at home and is confused about his sexuality. So he behaves badly to try to avoid all this and to keep people away. Oscar Curtis is very good. Anyway, Lucas and Dillon have a lot of chemistry. Looking forward to seeing the romance between the two of them.

The actor for Lucas is so good and he looks so much like Ste especially when he was younger. Brilliant casting right there. I also love the actor for Dillon too he's just as good and they have some brilliant chemistry together.

I've been really impressed with Oscar Curtis, he is turning out to be a fine little actor. He is able to stand his ground among veterans like Kieron and Gregory, sometimes he even manages to outshine them! I'm really interested to see where Lucas got all the internalized homophobia from considering he has grown up with an out father, who he seemingly respects, and now has a best friend who is openly bisexual, who he adores.

Man, after the way Ste behaved well into his 20s! At Lucas’ age he was stealing cars. Then dealing drugs.Then he was beating his girlfriend. Then drugs again. Then hate crimes. He can sit ass down having a go about Lucas being drunk.

I really like the Lucas character and I hope the next part shows Ste and him in a hug. Then Ste actually listening and thanking Lucas for being a great son. Tell your son he should always come to you and not try to keep things quiet or be scared to talk to you.

I don't really understand why Lucas is so angry that he might be gay or bi, his father is gay......like i couldn't imagine anyone having a problem with it....🤷

Ste is pissing me off. He has extra time to spy on Dilly but no time to talk with his own son who is clearly struggling then has the nerve to tell Lucas that he's ruined Christmas??

Look, I know this happens in real life, but Hollyoaks has done this to death. How many more times are we gonna have characters struggling to come out as gay and trying it fight against it? Hollyoaks has so many gay characters in it, no one should care anymore. And making him gay because he's Ste's son is a bit predictable and cliche.

It's interesting when Lucas is drunk and Dillon claims to Diane that Lucas had a dodgy mince pie because a similar situation happened with Nicole Owen's birthday party 🥳 🎉 🎂🎁🎈when she once drank too much vodka. Nicole's mother Carrie walked into the living room 🛋️ and saw her being sick and Nicoles friend Candy 🍬🍭 told Carrie that Nicole had too many sausage rolls to eat, but unfortunately Carrie saw the vodka 🍸and banned No ole from seeing Candy 🍬🍭 and her other friend Paula again.

Oh my OA Lucas you’re acting so horrible. I know James went too far on hitting Lucas but you have to admit he had it coming I just don’t get why he’s so scared and trying to get his Father divorced from James it’s really horrible. I feel sorry for Carter and Lucas they both need to stop hiding in their closets and come out at some point I also can’t wait till Dillon and Lucas end up together and others are also saying that this is like Brendan and Ste from the past I really wish they’d stop trying make James the bad Person and they’d just redeem him and let #Stames be happy. 😢
