Today I'm swatching 168 colors, trying out a cotton watercolor coloring book, AND filling a 12 month watercolor calendar with flowers?! I put Grabie's new watercolor palette, coloring book, and calendar thru their paces to see if they're a good fit for you! Also- I love your floral art and I think a coloring book in your art would be amazing. I usually print your line arts from patreon and make a little stack to play with :)
What a neat concept! I know a lot of people want to watercolor in their coloring books, and the paper is often not up to the task, so it's nice to have something to point people towards!
@@Nattosoup I had gotten the Autumn themed watercolor coloring book from them, and the pictures were so tiny that you'd have to use a number 1 brush or fine liners. I was pretty disappointed. The one you got looks better. I like to have something for when I feel like painting, but don't feel like thinking. lol Thanks for the review.
I love the coloring book! Only recently have I seen wc coloring books that aren't packed busy zentangles (too much to paint!). Oh by the way- good to see you are safe. When I heard about the storm I was concerned.
I think Francine took a lot of people down here by surprise- she was much more ferocious than we expected from a Cat 2. I'm really grateful that we were safe, and our parents are all safe.
Hullo Becca, I have tried so many different projects and be disappointed more than once! I do wonder why so many cut corners on papers! I just never understood this, the surface is the most important part of an artwork! You can get away with inferior paints and brushes but if your surface is no good your artwork does not stand a chance! i thought you did an exceptional job wit hall of the florals!
00:56 Did you mean the Miranda Watson's Alkali Creek advent calendar? She's got a much smaller following. A shout out to someone who did something as great as her advent calendar with only 6.5k followers would be nice of you. ❤
