You are probably one of those people just saw that it doesn't kill a bad on sandbox and now think it's bad even though the whole gimmick of the perma-spike is not being used in that test (you are supposed to place it down rounds before)
But when are you ever going to use legend of the night? He is just too expensive to the point where you won't use him. The only time I can think of is a boss event that has paragons and true sun God banned. But even then I would probably use mass sniper with other 5th tiers. Maybe LotN would be in there. While he wins totally in the coolness factor, efficiency and feel good to use it doesn't. Just can't have fun using a tower if you never get to use it.
HOMELAND DEFENCE THE most POWERFUL ability in the game by far and the jungle drum beat it makes is pure 🔥, ultraboost and permabrew cant even compare to how much cocaine homeland gives your monkeys
SJB, it is surprising to me that you didn't mention that T5 Monkey Wall Street also becomes a [Bannaa Farmer(Power-up)] any Money generating Tower or Farm that needs to have the money collected to use in an in-game match will have its money be Auto collected as long as they are in the Monkey Wall streets Tower's range.
It also carries over central markets buff to merchantmen one of The Best farmings in the game… though admittedly if going that route you’d usually leave it as a T4
Gigantosaurus been wiped out by Century champion is the biggest travesty of this generation. Seriously on logs as long as you position him a little bit and give him a Homeland Defense he can destroy 999 fortified BADs. Yeah, he’s expensive to fully level up but all of the tears below him are good so you’ll have a nice steppingstone and there are other hundred and $130,000 towers that got through this list.
I placed him down on one of my runs and he got 24 million pops, and carried me to round 152. Sentry champion only one because the beast handler is new.
It’s crazy how people think the beast tamer monkey or wtv it’s called it’s difficult to use and understand, all you do is place multiple towers down and fuse them into 1 big tower. ITS SO SIMPLE
Just wanna say good editing with those texts. It wasn't too distracting and some were actually amusing. Also I am a big fan of the boomerang, and his ability is awesome. I know he's very likely not going to be number one, but I would pull him back for a second chance. I think another way to eliminate towers is if they score below like 80% of the votes they are permanently eliminated.
I feel like a lot of the people voting for the... weirder towers always end up in my public coop games. Elite defender over sky shredder?! Banana central over homeland?!
Ikr this channel is a casual mess, if this was done on ISAB's channel it would be very different. 1. Comanche commander, homeland defence GOAT 2. Support damage givers would be dominating 3. Races, boss events, challenges would be the main source of votes not casual games.
Gonna go with MOAB Eliminator as best KO'ed tower. Good price for what you get and its cooldown being so short means you get multiples goes each round.
Perma Charge is really good. Cheap (unlike sub commander; you need a bunch of 2/0/4 subs for sub commander strat to be good), pairs really well with Geraldo (unlike sub commander), has a really powerful ability on top of its base power (unlike sub commander), is a land tower (unlike sub commander), doesn't need an MIB to pop DDTs with the right crosspath (unlike sub commander; yes, there is heat tipped darts, but that's the worse crosspath by a lot), and has 2MP on 67 maps (Sub commander has only 50). In conclusion, Perma Charge is way better than Sub Commander and I want it to be revived.
What the heck are you on about. Sub spam + Brickell is one of the most busted strats in the game and 27K for a commander that massively powers every sub is a steal. If you run a water strategy sub commander is like one of the best towers in the game …and considering subs get virtually global range for surprisingly cheap… they’ll be much better than a single death zone. You can also combine with energizer and middle path subs for insane cooldowns that let them just obliterate. Add in buccaneer paths and energizer can buff pirate lord while the top path buccaneer can buff all your subs. The cross synergy on water towers is actually insane The only downside to water towers is them being water locked but since most have some level of global range, you just need enough water to place them and watch things spiral

when it comes to pmfc and smfc, if the amount of low darts is the max amount it can turn or less, it can actually affect darts globally rather then only affecting darts near the ability tower, and covering the whole map in supers/plasmas makes it surprisingly strong
Very weird tower ngl, with all buffs and debuffs, a bloonjitsu is better for damage (but can’t stun, which at that stage you’d have stubs anyway) but it’s still solid
Special Poperations chopper is amazing! If you got rear door gunner you can make some amazing super strategic combinations, and to save all the micro simply get a tech bot, the marine ability has such a short cooldown you can have 2 at once!

You should never go for pops on glue unless its top path. 25:16 B central over Homeland is crazy 30:49 Elite defender over Sky shredder is also nuts Maybe its just me but having the glue storm, monkeyopolis and super brittle being beaten is so odd, might be bias because of bosses though
I've been trying out the 5-2-0 instead of the 5-0-2, I haven't been using the Grandmaster Ninja much and I've been wondering if I'm overlooking it Obviously 5-2-0 is map-dependent, but I do appreciate the Distraction a lot. Need to do more focused testing before deciding if it's better or worse, though
I would like to see the true sun god come back, only because you didn't touch on the vengeful sun god. I know that tower is INCREDIBLY expensive and way past regular late game, but in my opinion is the one tower you need to make it well into the round 200+ area. Beyond that, good content! I like how you are including the communities feedback for a census here. I'm excited for round 2!
commanche commander has been done dirty :( he is the supreme king of harder maps, especially muddy puddles, geared and inferno with an easy safe up. a revive is in order!
permaspike should have another chance. I use him ALL THE TIME and he saved my life SO MANY TIMES on so many different maps. It has great pierce, decent damage, and can be buffed pretty well to make him even more powerful. Also the "smart" targeting is super useful, making it spawn spikes in the perfect spot with no extra micro.
Permacharge would honestly be a lot more fun to play if his THIRD TIER was more fun to play. Right now, Bionic Boomerang really just isn’t a reliable tower, and this carries into Turbo Charge as well, forcing him to be VERY dependent on abilities UNTIL you get to the Permacharge. The save-up for Permacharge is just a bit too painful and annoying for your average run.
People clearly don't understand the power of certain towers, the gigasaur has the most DPS in the game for a 5 tier tier and the sentry champion actually really sucks for a tier 5 tower
For easy-medium maps, it’s gotta be bloon solver Not only is he one of the top 5 cheapest tier 5 towers, he can make everything except the BAD and fortified ZOMG layers, 50x easier to defeat, and is perfect for cleaning insides, so you only have to worry about zomg and higher layers, since he melts fortified bfbs and lower And he can solo most easy/medium maps on chimps, up until like 94-95 On maps like cubism or logs, he can solo all rounds except 97 and 100 (with camo) But yeah, on harder maps he’s not too great, unless you just need cleanup
Have yet to place a single beast handler in my chimps runs. That tower is so counterintuitive to what BTD is. The concept is cool but it's just too much. On the other hand, all of my chimps runs have 1, or more, of icicle impale, cripple moab, archmage, and spirit of the forest. Those 4 are the best 👌
I'm not exactly mad at the votes, as from what I've seen so far the voters did pretty good at choosing the better of the two options. It's just weird when a lot of amazing towers were put against each other and the losers were all the worst 5? Like wouldn't it be fair if it was random and not a personal selection of which towers face off against each other. Like I don't think I would put a lot of towers over the Flying Fortress yet it was super early in the video, and because it's early it's just going to keep winning until it doesn't. I think each tower should have a fighting chance, why pair Ultraboost against something like Energizer and then when it loses it's regarded as a bad tower. Both of those towers are good, and before you say "well these are just the worst of the best" I think there's worse. If you want to find the worst and best you'd have to have a round robin sort of test where each tower goes head to head against every tower, and the tower with the most wins is the best.
I missed basically all of the votes on this. In the future, imo you should try put an announcement of any community page votes during your daily vid, because that doesn't get shown to me or a bunch of people I know at all unless you go looking for it. Also WOW some of these votes are terrible lmao. Glaive Lord over TSG? Energizer over Ultraboost? Banana Central over Homeland Defense? Sub Commander over Perma Charge? Man..
The only downside to legend of the night is that ever getting enough money to use him is ridiculous, so if you aren't going into late game, nobody will ever see him.
I adore Glue Storm. He's super cheap, he's great Bloon slowdown, and his ability has such a short cooldown with a massive damage amp. He's not much in comparison to Solver, but I will generally find myself getting him late game for when I need easy and cheap damage boosts. I've seen Permaspike be hailed as a redemption option and while yes, Permaspike is still good, using it is still problematic because of the price tag. It's no Super Mines, but because of how much it got nerfed, it's not as reliable as it used to be for handling R95 or the Fortifieds that it could before.
Sjb you probably wont see this but i thought of something cool. Elite defender sniper combo with master defender monkey knowledge. Combo that with ezil and you have a super fast sniper.
The best 5th tier is Geraldo or Corvus 😂. They are fun, need skill and work for most maps and game modes. Easily allow you to save up for some nice fun 5th tiers. Also, cool Thumbnail.
