The easiest way to defeat it is to make a pre trap. Basically just go to a hallway, make a big puddle of water on the ground, throw in some live wires, and lure it into the water. As soon as it walks in the water, turn on the wires and shut it down. You'll have 1 minute to open its head and take the upc out

The T-800 doesn't have the volatile power core. That's the T-850 from terminator 3. It's a slightly upgraded version of the T-800 and one of its upgrades is the power core. But yeah. in terminator genysis, the t-800 was shown holding a t-1000 in hydrochloric acid, gallons poured on the t-800's hand and only melted the skin of and the hand is less armoured than the cpu or fuel cells, so i dont think you could use the acid attack

Just jump in some deep water. The infrared vision would have less range and the terminator would probably sink to the bottom. Ballistic weapons are also useless in water.

I personally believe that the whole Terminator franchise is not about the humans losing, but the machines eventual losing the war. The humans may have lost early on but most likely won in a distant future. So like the A.I. that refused to lose at a difficult round of Tetris its "looping"/"spinning" its final move to stall time for the sake of not losing, keeping the game/war perpetually forever. So one day i think well see ironically it's been the robots trying to change an outcome instead of solidifying it. An if you take it in logically why would terminators even be needed to be flung back Marty Mcfly style unless they themselves got a bad message from THEIR future.
