doesn't matter if he missed the point of what the purpose of the game is, it's who buys and plays the game and those are mostly kids and kids don't want to sit and read when they can get the same experience from a video game

Stephen is right, no-one has the attention span to play these games, especially children.

Not true. My and teenage son LOVE playing board games together. We've formed a little informal club with some of his friends and their parents, and it's so much fun.

Personally - I disagree. You're buying the puzzle experience; the story, the role playing aspect of becoming a detective - it's not the actual content of the box that you're buying. There are many people who LOVE this stuff. People play video games for the exploration, the achievements etc.. but others way prefer this - the skimming through tactile documents, being sent on a mission with the sense of feeling smart when you've cracked it. Then you wanna play the next episode and do it all over again with a deferent case. I mean okay - they COULD bring it down to about £19.99 or something, but if the stories are quality, yeah - a fair few folks would actually pay £30-odd quid. It's not my cuppa tea but I'm thinking outside the box here. lol

It’s an age demographic thing. Board games over the past few years have been on a resurgence. VR/Escape Rooms are just a young persons experience thing you do every now and again.

Gets his money back and then either sells his shares to the owners and gets money at the new price or the business is bought out by a company and he gets some of that money

Investors dont usually stay in companies forever, the return through dividends isnt what many look for, they want to eventually sell their shares for a big profit . Basically an investor may pay $50 000 for 20% of a starter company, then in 5 years they can sell that 20% for maybe $5 million if the company becomes very valuable, this gives them really big return on investment.
