I’ve tried these products that are available to consumers and they are amazing. I haven’t tried the step one in salon treatment yet, but I’m going to ask my stylist for it! I do like the redken bonding line also. Olaplex never did it for me either. My hair texture has changed so much with perimenopause - it’s maddening. Thanks, Tammy!
I have major hair envy every time I watch one of your videos! ❤ I am growing out a pixie and getting excited to finally have some length. Thank you for giving us such great recommendations. 😊
I’m with you in that I just can’t go more than one day without washing my hair - yuck!. I refuse to go to work with dirty hair. I work from home on Thursdays so I take that day off and then again on Saturday. Otherwise, my hair is getting cleaned.
@@TammysAgelessBeauty Yep! So true. I have baby, BABY FINE, thin, naturally blonde hair, and even natural hair oils have always made it look limp and greasy. I've always had to wash it everyday, but since I started coloring it about two years ago, I can get away with washing every other day 😊
I have been using the 3 products for a couple of months (I alternate using this and other products as I shampoo and condition every day)and love it! My hair hairdresser of 11 years did the full 4 steps on me, and didn’t charge me for the treatment when I purchased the all 3 from her. It’s pricey but worth it if you can swing it. Really glad you enjoy it too! I’m curious about the other L’Oréal Professional products I’m seeing, too! *** Side note - Im sensitive to strong fragrance and this is lovely.
❤ It’s really funny you made this video. I have recently watched one of your videos and saw you are at the halfway point with your grow out and wondered about the bottom half. I think it’s great you are being proactive on the care of the half you are protecting. I grew my grey out from a short haircut in 2018 and I used to have hair down just past my waist and cut that length in 2001. I rarely blowdried my hair or used extreme heat with any tools or dryers and I did have hair color on my hair. I rarely got haircuts and I never had damage on my ends. The damage I had that was slight was done in my early twenties and once I became a manicurist and worked in salons my coworkers taught me how to care for my hair. My hair is now just past my shoulders and I am growing it out to a long length after all these years. I take a Hair/Skin/Nail gummy vitamin everyday and I dry my hair on a medium heat setting. I want it to grow to my waist not to my butt and once it gets there I will add a few long layers. I don’t know about you but my frizzy wavy hair is just easier to manage when it’s long. I can half dry it and sleep with few soft fabric rollers and wake up with soft curls and not a lot of frizz and I miss those days…😊 I do toss it in a pony tail or on top of my head in a messy bun, but it’s just way easier when it’s long. I appreciate you relating all of your kind insight as I know there are women out there at the mid point in their grow out journey who need some tips. You’re the best, have a wonderful night. ❤❤❤👩🏼🦳
Thanks for another informative video. Would love to try but I have an allergy to certain fragrances. I really wish more companies would have fragrance free options. Take care, Karen
You are a truly authentic person who shares only ‘the best’ with us. Thank you for all your hard work. I use K18 and Living Proof Triple Bond. So far so good. My hair had NO elasticity and was ‘snapping’ off. It is improving, but it does take time and patience. ❤
I use Colleen Rothchilds hair care line and absolutely love it. I am going to give this a try to as I also have my cosmetology license. Thank you Miss lovely Tammy for all your suggestions I truly appreciate the heck out of you!!!
I use the Olplex Bonding system, I try to get on sale, do I love it, not sure yet. Tammy thanks for always sharing with us, your hair is so beautiful & loving your 💋
I finally gave up finding anything to take care of my damaged hair and cut it all off. I’m so glad I did. It is 100% back to healthy now. My hair is dry too and in winter I only have to shampoo once a week. My hair styles much easier a couple days after shampooing. I’m glad you found something that works for you.
Please keep us updated to see if you continue to like this line. Sounds promising! No, Olaplex didn’t work for me either. I just tried Redken Acidic Bonding treatmt. Liked it but will see after a few uses.

I purchased a three step bond strengthening system from Sam’s called Ever Pure from L’Oreal in pink bottles. It has a bond strengthening pre-treat cream, then a shampoo and conditioner. It cost $20 as a special. It’s no longer there but my Walmart has the bond cream only. I don’t have your hair type but I use it 1x per week. I do wash my hair practically everyday. So far I think it’s good but my hair is on the short side. Thanks for your info on this. Time will tell but it seems to be a good thing.
I have been wondering about what hair products you are using. Your hair looks great after 3 days, my hair would be limp and flat especially in the front. Please keep us updated because this line looks promising. ❤
I love that you are willing to try new things! By the way, I have been using the Biossance skin care system since October. I really like it. It adds a glow to my skin, I think.
In Europe the retail Sallys outlet sell the step 1 to retail customers. Its good but not 40 dollar good! Its comparable to a K18 treatment to me. I have very damaged hair at the moment...
Tammy, thanks so much for the recommendation. I've been using the L'oreal Pro Curly Expression line and I love it! I agree, it's hard to find a bonding/protein treatment that does not dry and thin out out my hair. Although I have been trying the Vegamour Hydr-8 hair oil with their vegan "keratin" and so far so good. I'll give the retail products a try first. If I like them, I'll ask my niece to buy the pre-treatment with her license.
Very interesting. I had some heavily highlighted hair while growing out my gray. This would have been nice to try. I remember that “Final Cut” and what a surprise it was to feel “virgin” ends. My hair actually moves now.
Thank You for sharing this and for sharing information about hair products that don’t have protein in them… I find it just about impossible to find products without protein !!! Thank You 🥰
I was a stylist in the 80's and did nails, my girlfriend had a Salon my husband helped build called Rapunzels on the east coast of Florida. I moved away for my husbands work & both of us (she & I) went to school and changed careers. I let my license go, but she didn't. Maybe it's worth the shipping, because I'm not cutting off my locks either.
HI Tammy, I am still high lighting and coloring my hair. I'm going to try this product. i have tried your suggestions for heathy hair and I have to say my hair is so much better. i am letting it grow long again. thank you so much.
Tammy, I have a quick, unrelated question. I know you have Lily Silk shirts, but I wondered if you have ever purchased anything from Ravella. They have a brown silk shirt I love and unfortunately Lily Silk doesn't have any in brown. I hope you'll be another of fashion videos soon. I love to see you modeling out by your pool. Have a great weekend!
Hi Tammy, Thank you for another great video as always & you just beaming with joy ! I have a couple of questions as I truly respect your opinion (especially on hair & sweet treats!) Is it common to see regrowth all along the hairline after chemical color treatments stop ? I’m 100% natural gray now & my last color was 05/07/22. Also, do purple shampoos/conditioners actually remove yellowing or do they just mask it to appear less yellow ? Thank you 🥰
I realize this has nothing to do with this video, I am so concerned over SimplySheila. I have always loved her. I know she was in poor health. Was wondering if she is doing okay?? Love the videos of you both.
I’m going to get my hair stylist to order step 1 for me and I will purchase steps 2,3, &4 , as my hair is long, and I have been trying some of the products that you use. I know that your are not sponsored by any company. Since I have been using some of the products that you use, my hair has never looked better. I have been on this journey to let my white, silver, and grey hair grow out for 3 years now. I only have about an inch and half left of my blonde highlights left and the bottom of my hair. It’s been a long journey, but with your tips it has been not as bad as I the it would be. Thank you Tammy for your insights and videos.
I love the white hair on u. Im a hairdresser and im a bit older than u and just wanted to say u would love ur hair if u cut just below ur shoulder. U would still have long hair but u wont have to have the yellow on bottom. U look fab no matter what.
Another hair video- yay! Last time I told you a medication was causing my super thick long gray hair to fall out- actually hairdresser said breakage. Been using Aveda Advanced Invati system for thinning hair. Working? Not sure but my husband isn’t following me around as much with the vacuum anymore but I am losing hair- my pony tail is half the tail it once was . Have read no shampoo can fix shedding hair except for Minoxidil -True? Should I try this L’Oréal since the bottom two inches of my hair is a mess- split and dry or stay on some shampoo for shedding vs. repair. May be way too late for repair🥵 Also in your notes if I use this should I use the protein mask that’s part of the set or get one of the others you listed? Wonder if u can walk into a salon and just buy step one??
Tammy, Thank you so much for this video, my hair really needs these products. I absolutely love your hair! So happy you’re back doing videos, missed you. 💖
Hi Tammy, Question about washing your hair every other day or 2nd or 3rd day. I know you work out every day and I'm sure sweat. What do you do to refresh your hair after working out or walking in the heat?? I like to wash my hair every day. My hair never looks good restyling it the next day without washing it. Would love to know what you do to keep your hair looking good without washing it every day. Do you use dry shampoo to give it volume???
I wash my hair MOST days....truly, I cannot stand to smell my own hair and I also do not like to just place products over my sweat...I have washed my hair most days for my whole adult life...it's really about the products you use. I only went 3 days to experiment with these products and frizz..
Oh I'm so happy you shared this with us, I have super course hair, actually as a child ppl would say my hair was like a wired hair terrier 😢. Although I do trtment and use good products, I'm always game to try something new. Thanks Tammy, I just love your video's.
Thank you so much for making this video. Very interesting information. I do use the Colleen Rothschild mask. Do you recommend a mask with protein. You may have recommended a protein mask or conditioner in past videos but I don’t remember. Thank you for what you do for us. ❤ I love your videos!!
I have always loved L’Oréal. I even like their lip products. Off subject. I am still working on the last 10-15lbs. I started weight training and the scale has been stuck for months. Did you walk first then when you got closer to goal you toned up?
Just walking was doing nothing for me...I had been walking for Years...(WALKING IS AN EXCELLENT activity for ALL ) but it wasn't until I upped my weights ...that's when the magic happened for me. Congratulations on your weight loss...make sure you are eating in a SMALL calorie deficit...and keep on ...walk and increase your weights...if you aren't lifting weights yet...get to it...YOU CAN DO IT
K18 bonding is ok but their daily shampoo caused my hair to fall out in handfuls after only one shampoo. I could have cried because it had taken a year of taking vitamin d3 to thicken my hair. Long story short Mr Google had a remedy to stop hair from falling out, it worked. I continued taking K3 & scalp massage twice daily, now after 11 months people tell me how thick my hair is and I only need to wash it once a week instead of 2 or 3 times!!
I am to assume that it doesn’t help hair from falling out? Hi Tammy, Karla 62 here. My hair is almost the same length as yours, I’m a natural blonde with Gods natural white highlights lol yet my hair is falling out sooo much, then when washing a large amnt comes out and I do not use keratin and or protein ing shampoos except for maybe once every two wks. If it doesn’t help with fall out, what do you recommend? When will you be doing an updated full skincare routine for us ? I miss them as no one does them anymore.
Try Act+Acre products. They are all for healthy scalp. Their scalp serum with stem cell has minimized tremendously the hair from falling. I have long hair down my lower back in my late 60’s.
There are many new products to supplement the scalp...keep your scalp CLEAN...also get in the habit of massaging your scalp with whatever scalp serum you choose...I use a few different ones and love them...Briogeo just came out with a new scalp serum which I am using now...I do like it...Act & Acre is another big one being advertised...I've not used this one...Look for rosemary infused oils/serums...I have been using scalp treatments for years ...but ramped up my usage of them after menopause...
Nizoral shampoo and Mielle rosemary mint hair oil. I haven't been using long enough to notice anything as far as regrowth, but I have noticed less fallout.
@@TammysAgelessBeauty I do wash my hair twice to three times / week massaging my scalp. I will look up the Briogeo serum. I also mask my hair. Thank you bunches Tammy.
Not washing your hair everyday, does not mean it's dirty, that's ridiculous. Any good beautician, will tell you washing your hair everyday, removes the good oils. Also, unless you are doing something outside to get your hair dirty, it doesn't need to be washed every day. Or of course, you have oily hair. Especially US CURLY GIRLS!!
Too many products can make your hair look like straw + heat. Also a slight trim is necessary every 3 to 4 months. That yellow hair is not becoming. My opinion and recommendation from my stylist. I have long hair in my 60’s.
I didn't say you had to wash your hair daily, I also said most wash there hair every other to third day...I said I wash my hair most days, I sweat and workout...my hair performs better when freshly washed...
This is false, the right products matter...a slight trim every 3-4 months is only to prevent splitting of the ends ( not the myth that is needs to be trimmed to grow)...What surprises me is you took the opportunity to get a little jab in ( yellow hair not becoming ) ...All opinions ( including mine ) are just that...an opinion...even your stylist! But thank you for your input...I am sure many will have the same "opinion " as you! Happy Sunday!
Tammy-I know you have been growing out the blonde for a couple of years but why don't you just cut that part off since it is so far down now. Just curious....
✝️Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God." - 1 John 4:7❤ (Hopefully you dont mind I just think it's good to spread the gospel, I hope I can make your day/night better)
Interesting product and thanks for the information. I thought Oribe was expensive. Wow on this line as well. You always look so beautiful. Love your videos.
Your face looks so refreshed when your hair is back. I know it not my business and God knows this is not meant to offend you or anyone but why the extra long hair? Is there a particular reason other than because you love it and obviously feel comfortable? I’m just wondering. I understand shorter hair is not for every mature woman. We all feel beautiful in different ways but the hair down to waist - I don’t get it. I knowww I don’t have to 😊 Just a question out of curiosity. Your skin looks so pretty. Like porcelain 🤍
I don't understand hanging on to old damaged hair and needing so many products to hide it. I don't think dead hair can actually be repaired. Why not cut it off? You would still have long hair and you've said your hair grows quickly.
I surely would not buy for people in any salon…but my sisters/ mother and dearest friends…absolutely I would….its a perk of being part of my family…I don’t know one stylist that does not buy for their family and close friends…😳🤷🏼♀️
Not going to argue with u. Just trying to protect the stylist income. You were making it a big deal to ask any one who had access to get product. But i see ur more stubborn then me.
