Yeah she’s more like a “house renovator” or “interior decorator”. I’m in the graphic design field and job titles can be confusing and always changing as well. I hate when people think I’m a “digital artist” or that “I must like to draw” because it’s neither one of those really 😭 Design does NOT equal aesthetics. Design IS about form, function, user experience and interaction.
No you don’t, that’s total bull. To become an interior designer it is HELPFUL to have a degree and to be licensed. There’s thousands of small business owners who haven’t got fancy degrees and all that who have the exact same lifestyle as someone who got a degree. You can be working as a furniture builder or a painter and decorator and get into interior design through various other professions. If you work hard you can do most things.
i feel like this is more of interior decorator, am i wrong? // what concentration of interior design focuses less on colors and pattern and more on practicality and efficiency within a space
Omg i totally used to only design the Barbie houses but never actually play 😂 y dream is to become an interior designer but i need help getting started 😅
i would literally be obsessed with this one game where i would ONLY make rooms and decorate them. it costed around a quarter’s worth of money (but i spent around 20 more dollars (only from a SMALL portion of my christmas money). in my friend group, my friends are asking me for help because they need some decorating help.
Same I love decorating and organising my parents are about to start a business I can take over when I’m older I am going to get to help paint decorate choose colours room themes and the furniture and I can’t wait ❤
Haha I use to do build mini stores in shoe boxes. Lol..I don’t have an BA in Interior Design. But thinking about getting my MA in interior design. My first job that I wanted to be was an Architect.
I want to be your work assistant. I will give you two years free service. During this period i will take 0 payment. I completed my post graduation in Philosophy.
@@anythingelseplssyou’re spreading misinformation. You don’t need a 4 year degree at all. A boot camp, or a 6 month course at your local university will suffice. It’s based off what you know and how good you can do your job which will be portrayed in your portfolio. Not whether or not if you have a degree.
None of you build anything us carpenters do so I don’t wanna hear it and we don’t even get respect for what we do you guys just design the inside of the house😢
