@@camilo8cheryl There is no way under the sun you could guarantee that the figures are correct. The slightest change in wind speed could make this difference or the slight change in direction against the wind or downwind. If you're talking minutes, that's different 🤔
I never use aftermarket props, I trust DJI engineers more that I trust MAS engineers, not saying they are bad props just don’t trust aftermarket props.
Please don’t put an audio bit of you saying “and here is the sound of the other propellers” in between the sound test of those different propellers by the time you’re done talking I forgot what the other ones sound like
These props have the same decibel level. The only difference is the pitch changes. The Master airscrews have a different shaped wing tip which changes it to a lower pitch sound. I have noticed a difference using these props especially when comparing both at 400ft
Buy new props that are more expensive, but give you an additional 40 seconds (not guaranteed because those 40 seconds could have been a result of a bunch of different factors, having nothing to do with the props in the first place).
If i was looking for proof that aftermarket props are worthless, this would be it. Not sure what logic was used to recommend it, but i think it's got some greasy palms involved.
Good showing Russ, so many dont realize that there is not much engineering behind DJI's props for the most part. On the mini drones DJI's were absolutely horrible on the initial release. Most who say "only use stock props" say so with no experience behind it with respect to the other props available, specifically Master Air Screw
I didn't notice much difference with their props over stock as far as how loud they were. I designed and resin printed a prototype of my own that was by far significanly quieter than this but I don't trust the material beyond a few feet hover :D
I have a set on my Mavic air 2 I do not see any difference in the noise. There may be some mobility benefits I do like the color. As far as speed, I really do not see any difference. Of course, the wind plays a big factor in your speed.
Original is the way! I bet Dji engineers have spend more time on testing their props, compared to an unknown company. Unless you care sound and speed, i prefer Safe. Fly safe ppl
I used to think stock automatically equaled worse until I got a job in the auto industry. Once I experienced first hand testing and developing components and the crazy level things are scrutinized it opened my eyes a ton! Not everything falls under that umbrella but major components would. I feel the same way about props on my drone. Although I’ve been tempted a few times to buy some cool aftermarket ones I just don’t trust them.
Before I leave my comment, I want to say overall I really like your drone videos 👍. But in this video, unless you can show the decibel level of each set of props, I can’t tell much difference. The other performance points, like 45sec. more flight time may help in some worse case scenarios to get back, but cutting that close flying is kinda reckless if you know what I mean. I guess the real benefit might be the nearly 1/2mph flight speed could make a difference if the wind changes. Is this enough to make it worthwhile to pay more? Maybe 🤔
@@51Drones did you get the props to sit flush with the factory screws? I installed mines last night and I’m afraid they will come loose. These props destroyed my mini 2 after one came loose while flying. I had to walk two miles through woods to retrieve my drone.🤷🏽
If one of the best things that can be said about an aftermarket prop is that they look 'super cool' but only provide questionable performance benefits, are more fragile than the OEM props, are not quieter, and cost more on top of it all, what was the point? At any distance the 'super cool' factor of using a non-black colored propeller is gone!
Your lieing about propeller I've got decibel counter and those so called master air screw they are slower by 2 mph and actually they are 4 decibel louder than stock as I also notice you had stock props closer than the master airscrew, this is 100% fact so I'd guess your getting paid to lie as do it with decibel counter and you'll be proven wrong as stock props 70 decibel airscrew 74 decibel. Don't fall for the pretty thing that are louder and slower FACT. DONT BELIEVE ME ILL GET VIDEO TO PROVE IT TO YOU WASTE OF £ AND VOIDS INSURANCE/WARRANTY AS DJI DO NOT MAKE THESE OR ENDORSE THEM ✌️OUT

I love how everyone is paranoid of 'aftermarket'. As though it's all automatically suspect, impossible to design as good or better than stock and must result in crash and loss of device. Not saying these props are worth bothering with, but a lot of aftermarket things can be, quite easily. Like the gimbal cover for example. Why did they not try to cover the obstacle sensors too? I have one, works great, should be stock. Question shouldn't be whether it's designed by DJI, but whether it works better or not. DJI doesn't have some magical monopoly on making things that work. I feel like this is some Apple crossover.
Wow! You increased 1 MPH and you have an additional 45 seconds of battery! That just sounded funny when I heard it. I don't know if I would brag about a product that gives 1% better performance.
All MAS props are very expensive and incredibly fragile. I've regretted buying them for my drones. Don't get caught. They're also not quieter, they're just lower pitched.
A single test using da tedious aftermarket props that proved absolutely nothing & no added benefit lol Who cares what they sound like. All that matters is performance & using non DJI (best quality) props negates warranty also so NOPE
I bought and installed these props on my Mini 3 Pro, and I can tell you that the single biggest benefit to these over the stock props, are that these are much more durable. Hands down, no contest!
I'm new to drone flying so I bought the SE but I only got 13mins of flying time.. I know it's advertised 30mins so I figured I'd get around 20min maybe 25min of fly time but it's only 13min... dose that seem normal?
So I was trying to edit a video on my DJI app, and when I left I mistakenly saved the videos to my files on my iPad. Any idea on how to get them back on the DJI app so I can finish the edit?
The new propeller sound is higher than DJI engineered propellers. And may I am the only one who noticed that you edited the sound of new propeller.. ..don't go for this change buddies..
Same sound to me you got scammed, jk I think you should try the 3 blades propellers, I've seen those fpv race drones have more propellers so I'm gonna try them ( I have the regular mini )
Those aftermarket props are not even close to the same quality of the stock prop. Theyre just cosmetic only. The dji prop are just much more rigit and stronger by far.
So no improvement over the stock propellers 😂 a few seconds that would easily be due to wind or you steering les rigoureus also sound is exactly same decibel rating 😂
