Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
Would be great to have all the measurements of the fabric, interfacing and zip needed etc. In the description- no one seems to do this? Would make life a lot easier for us keen crafters😊! 🙏
Totally agree!!!! I makes me crazy to have to watch the video through and pause to make notes on the materials. I don't understand why nobody does this.,
@@wintergirl8 well look at Angela from Notches Sewing an Australian who has a very soothing voice & beautiful hands 🥰 and gives all the measurements in fractions of inches and cm -I’ve learnt so many brilliant tips from her👌😊
Evet, siz söyleyince farkettim. Mesela yemek videolarında, eğer hiç bilmediğim bir yemek değilse, videoyu izleyerek zaman kaybetmiyor, direkt yapımına geçiyorum malzemeler sayesinde. Bu da öyle olabilir, geliştirilebilir ❤
Great video but I think it would help to say how many pieces to cut at the beginning. I also got confused with the front pocket. I thought it was interfacing you cut rather than lining. So maybe mention what each of the fabrics are for. I had to slow the video down and rewind several times when doing the large zip because you moved the fabric around so much and so quickly I got confused on which way to put the fabric to do the zip. Also, when it came to sewing the sides together with the lining I had to guess how to sew over the zip. Other than that I love the bag I made. Thank you 😊
@MaxyGorry78 Ha yes I felt the same & made a comment but slowed it down to .75 which was then easier to understand and like you had to rewind several times, the zip was also a bit confusing. Still it’s a great video and lovely bag isn’t it?👍😊
@MaxyGorry78 Hi again I tried to make this bag but couldn’t see how to machine over the zip so fudged it and finished top of seam near zip by hand😬 so it’s not the best video. I’ve since found Angela on Notches Sewing who talks you through the process with very clear concise instructions puts measurements on screen in fractions of inches & inches & cm in brackets. Has lovely soothing voice & beautiful hands and loads of info in the description! I’ve learnt so many brilliant new tips from her👌😊she adapts household items too for sewing -great ideas. Good luck
Can you explain why you say to cut main part of bag on size then place stabilizer on it and cut to size of stabilizer but you don’t change size of bottom. Am I doing something wrong?
I'm embarrassed to say I do not understand what 63*28cm is? I agree with prior comment - details of fabric needs, measurements, etc provided in written format.
I’m sorry to say, if you use the measurements given here, the bag measures only 23cms tall not 37cms. So this makes a handbag, not the shopper I had wanted. So disappointing!
@@silviamora1483 I agree the technique instructions are good, but unfortunately, I chose to make this bag because I trusted the measurements of the completed item shown in the video. It is supposed to be 37 cms tall but it is much smaller.
@ingrida.r.1533 Plus you can always pause it and write down measurements instructions etc. This is the coolest video on a tote bag I’ve seen & I’ve watched loads!! Nice hands too🥰👍 That white base could show the dirt up though! Very nice bag
