Good video. Thanks for sharing. I've always been wary of riding in a large uncoordinated group such as the one in this video. As many have said, there ARE advantages in a group; however, I'm quite sure that any such group has to be composed of members who know each other quite well AND are well-experienced riders. One of the major issues with riding in a group is that people talk to each other while riding - a big mistake; you take your eyes off the road for a few seconds and "bam" - such crap happens!
RE/Bullet riders please wear a Fullface helmet, all those face injury would have been avoided. When you fall it doesn't matter whether you are in a RE or a splendor or a KTM. In India with a half face helmet you won't just get wind in your face, you also get shit and flies in your face.
I HAVE ALSO MET A KIND OF ACCIDENT (NOT REALLY AN ACCIDENT) I WAS NEW TO CLASSIC GUNMETAL GREY. I WAS RIDING FROM KANGRA TO CHANDIGARH WITH ALMOST 30 RIDERS. I DID SILLY THINGS TO MY FRIEND WHO WAS RIDING BULLET 500 AND ALSO FELL INTO TALK TO HIM. I ACCIDENTALLY PRESSED THE REAR BRAKE AND MY BIKE'S REAR END WENT WOBBLING A BIT, BUT THE TYRE REMAINED AT ITS PLACE. IT WAS GOOD TO MY LUCK THAT I MANAGED TO HANDLE THE 200 KGS OF WEIGHT WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE. THOUGH I GOT VERY SCARED AND MADE OTHER FELLOW RIDERS AND FRIEND TO HALT FOR ALMOST HALF AN HOUR!
1. Accident was caused by Bad road patch. 2. Lead should have marked the bad patch. Rider was supposed to be cautious 3. Passion chalane wali sehat mai enfield...not a good combination.
In a group, you always end up following a tail light. I chose to ride for freedom, not to be part of the herd. Majority of my rides are either solo or with 2 more bikes ridden by friends I trust. You should know your mate's riding pattern as well. Group riding is like dancing with a partner.
There is a Quote, Two's company and Three's a crowd... Well, this was over 100 :P this was nothing but chaos... Never understood the logic behind large group rides/rallies. The point of motorcycling is freedom and independence whereas when you ride as a large group you are handicapped by group rules. you've made a very good point with your video. Hopefully, many other riders start to understand that rallies/large group rides is not motorcycling but trying to be a motorcyclist. Nice Video mate.
I am sorry, but i tend to differ a bit. I have been to Group Rides as well. There are times when you know you really want to unleash your machine, but at times with group you have a secure and safe feeling of "What If Situations". Also, its a personal feeling, I kinda feel pride when people standby and look at long chain of bikes going and at times waving you as well. Issue I felt with this group, as he too mentioned is that there was no adequate space between two bikes, there were unnecessary over taking, also at times bikes were parallel to each other. In group rides, if you tend to fix a position of your fellow riders its a smooth, easy and fun ride. Just my personal opinion. Nothing to brag or undermine your thoughts.
I disagree with you. I love making solo rides and also I do. But with large group there should be certain riding rules that should be followed it was not followed here with this ride. They doing riding just like that irrespective of the lane rules to be followed in group/club rides. It purely a mistake of the organisers or the lead of this ride.
Well actually their rally was poorly organised . We in Hanumangarh , Rajasthan also went on ride on 26th January with aur Royal enfield crew . We were riding in an queue with proper distance and with proper safety measures . And we did not rode to show anyone that we are motorcyclist , our moto was to aware people to ride safely with helmates and by following simple traffic rules . So please जीस चीज की जानकारी ना हो तो अपने विचार व्यक्त करने से पहले 1 बार सोच लेवे ।
Why the hell these guys wear half face helmets with this hathi bike???? Scratches on a full face helmet are anyday better than having those scratches on your face!!!!
Your decision is correct . One fell down only for slight uneven road , ones silencer loose , no stability in sand . RE motorcycles are only for historical museum not for real world road . You also shared some big problems of your bike in your one video 3-4 months ago .

Almost everyone wearing half face helmets, then you complain of bad roads? Bhai safety ke naam pe toh aap bass helmet pehente ho, thats it!! Secondly bhai offroading hathi ke bass ki naa hai
Signals by the Group lead helps the whole group behind to be aware about bad roads. Mess always happens when there are no riding rules and leads. Lane riding and proper formation always helps.

I have travelled in many big groups this is not the way to ride. 80 to 100 km per hour speed only. line formation. no over taking. each 5 to 6 people have experienced rider ,head light on ,indication to be given when to slow down ,bump by hand signal .
*So what do we learn from this video-* 1) Riding in such big groups is not safe. 2) Half helmets are shit. Wear a full face helmet. 3) Invest in proper riding gear and wear it.
Im a bullet rider since 2004 ... im riding electra 350 2004 model and i love riding this beast .. But these days im feeling sad and angry sometimes because starting bullet with self start is like killing the royal thing of bullet .. i may be wrong in this but i didnt like these new bullets .. if i compare with old bullets then these are like toys ... Sorry if my comment hurt anyone feelings . But tell me honestly if anyone is riding old bullet and now he is riding the new bullet like self start thing then is there any difference .. M talking about wow feeling jo pehle aati thi .. and log dekhtey thy ki ha koi bullet chala raha hai
Thats why i dnt ride in big grp 😑. Atleast guy was safe and standing on his feet.Yehh toa pher bach gya bhai i have seen a rider die in front of my eyes 😢
follow rules like American groups do ... two bikes in a row only.. follow the bikes ahead of you..maintain the difference...if they slow down you also slow down.. no over taking.. basically like snake.. that's how you ride in groups to avoid collisions..
Bhai can't explain the pain jab gearbox ko tum log patthat se thokk rhe the..my god jaan h yr mere sath bhi esa hi hua tha same and gear liver ese hi bend ho gya tha i cried alot bro just bcoz my bike was hurt...😭✌️
Do not understand y people 1st go and pickup the bike always rather than going and helping the person?? Whos injured Have always seen in many accident video's.. people go and pick up the bike ....any answers to this ? ...
Depends on where they both lie, if the bike’s in the middle of the road chances are high it might cause another accident due to following traffic. In this case maybe it was not the priority.
RP INDUSTRIES doesn't matter any ways hes not starting up the bike and moving it ... aside...hes picking up and walking with it ... chances are still there...
