Back in 1982 my friends aunt had a 1970 DeVille. She would let my buddy and I take it out on weekends, and I mean any weekend we wanted for a whole summer! We were 16 & 17 and it was probably my best summer of my youth. What a beast of a car!

Had a 429 Torino CJ, Hurst 4 speed. Found in a barn in the country. Cleaned it up, tuned it up (red/black hood) heavy car, very fast. Had several years, friend wanted it BAD. Sold it to him for his wedding present. He loved to outrun Vettes. 2 yrs in he hit a cow with it and sold it. Ahh memories! Appreciate you Solon. 😊

Back when it was new (and I was 12), I lusted after a 1970 Torino Cobra with a 429 Super Cobra Jet with Drag Pack. But I always loved the "laser" stripes on the Torino GT. Trivia questions are getting a little trickier.

Had a 429CJ with Hurst 4 speed in the 90's. Found in a barn, cleaned & tuned it up. It was VERY fast for such a heavy car. Sold it to a friend who wanted it bad after I had for a few years. He totaled it racing a Vette.

Loved the 2nd Caddy but my favorite was the 65 Rambler station wagon I just may go take a look at it! My Mom had a very rare 1966 70 station wagon the same exact color as the one you are selling, still looking for the 66 but 65 is damn nice!

The 1940's and earlier cars are dropping in value like a rock because that generation who collected them are dying out. Therefore, the demand for those cars are dropping big time.

I have a 1950 Oldsmobile version of that 1949 muscle car. Maybe I was under the misconception that the actual engine was 1950 when it was introduced to 1949. Mine is not stock anyway. I don't proclaim to be an expert. But I do appreciate the fact that you went with this instead of the GTO. Because GTO wasn't the first. Overhead cam engine was widely produced in the mid-to-late 60s by Pontiac. But the first American car with an inline 6 overhead cam engine was produced by Jeep. That's just a side note. The Jeep engine was called a tornado 🌪️. As far as the puddy daddy C10 1970 CHEVY truck, the party repair on the front corner that door is also coming out just like it is on the fender. But in today's market with the exception of that updated Chevy bed, it's still a good buy. Infantry short bed to begin with. As usual I enjoy these segments.

My first car was a 70 Chevrolet Impala Custom Coupe. The color was Grey with black interior and black vinyl top. It had bolt on air conditioning. 😅

In Florida White used White Cars sold for a premium and black cars were sold cheaper, of course that's a few Decades ago before all cars had A/C But I still see more White cars here than most other colors, and not sure most know this, but many Insurance companies charge more for Red cars than other colors for people of certain ages, they came up with this by compiling data on Red car owners usually were at fault in crashes from aggressive driving. It doesn't cost myself extra because I'm now older than dirt

I need to comment, a C10 is a half ton, there's no such thing as a C-10 1500 Back when pollution devices were first put in cars it also included 1/2 tin trucks so the big 3 called their light trucks 5/8's ton, F-100 went to F-150's and Chevys went from 10 series to 15 series eventually going to 1500 like Dodge. So if you have an F-100 or a C-10 (15 for GMC) or a W100 or D-100 Dodge, those were all built before 1975, the year i turned 20. There, my share for the day...

1970 in particular are sought after because that was the Pinnacle of Performance, although Ford put out underrated @ 335 HP 351 C Boss in 71 I think the 70's are so popular because of us Boomer Babies, we were teenagers in the 70's and want to relive our youth, although I've had too many 70's cars I made into hotrods to count, when I shop for a car, it's the vintage I still look at first

Yesterday one of your questions was how old is a vehicle before it is considered an antique. It used to be 25 years old and still may be in some states but here in Arkansas it has been changed to 45 years old! THANKS!!!!!

Hey Solon, great video lots of viewer participation / interaction. Loved the Red 1970 MGB, when I was 15 yrs old living in Ventura Ca. there was only two cars I wanted to have as a first car. A black 66 mustang with Tru-Spokes wheels and BFGs 2nd was an MGB convertible. I found an MGB at a dealership so a buddy and I went to check it out. The sales man laughed at me saying if I could figure out how to get in and out of if he’d give me a smokin deal on it. Well, being 6’2” and gangly posed a bigger problem than I thought. I settled for my mom’s 72 Kingswood Estate station wagon for my first. Loved that wagon could haul all my surfing buddy’s to the beach and back in style. The year was 1976

My brother drove a rambler in H.S.. it was one ugly wagon that became the most popular wagon on Saturday night. I would find Cudas and Chevell's parked in front of the house almost every weekend and wonder why they all wanted to borrow his wagon. If you know, YOU KNOW. So easily choice is the Rambler wagon and just maybe I'll get lucky.

Most important question when buying an early beetle. Has the floor pans been replaced yet, look especially under the back seat where they hide the battery. 90% of the ones I looked at are bad. 29
