I never regretted pulling her in her first banner, she is a life savior when it comes to killing bosses especially in spiral abyss, and she is super easy to play! I'm glad there are people like you who love her despite the hate she got.

3:18 please note that any shielder will be good for yoimiya (not just zhongli ;)), since it decreases her sensitivity to interruption. het 1st, 3rd and 5th hits are the strongest respectively, so not getting interrupted can be key to winning or losing a fight. next time your artifacts roll defense, put them on Noelle and see how strong her shield can get :p also shortly said on 6:49

She has now become my strongest character by a ridiculous margin. I hope everyone has as much luck as I did!

Yoimiya's whole "single target DPS issue" goes out the window in overload teams with Fischl and Beidou. You can stunlock whole groups of enemies with them in the team, especially if you utilize Yoimiya's burst as well.

7:22 Consider this, new Sumeru characters should be getting their reruns till Fontaine comes out. For Yoimiya there's no indication if she'll get another with newer characters getting the spotlight.

As A Yoimiya main since last year myself, i completely agree with everything you said in the video, I never regretted for a single second I pulled on her, and thank you for promoting such a underrated but lovable character (Good luck for whoever is gonna wish for her ;3)

Bye bye primos and fates, wanted Yoimiya for so long, finally it is time. The Dendro thing and every other upcoming content is now seen through the lens of whether it synergizes with Yoi or not. She is so beautiful and cute, model so exquisite and intricate im in awe each time I look at it to this day, oh how she grown on me over time... Best thing to happen for me in Genshin, like Yoi so much. Also she is completely fair and balanced, there are other characters like her in the game in that regard, and I appreciate them the most.

I've always liked Yoimiya's design and personality, that being said, I had no intent on pulling for her because y'all know, sumeru characters are coming, I ended up broke after Kazuha and Klee's banners and I generally suck ta using bows but after playing her trial, oh god, I fell in love, she is the easiest bow character I've ever used and her playstyle is so much fun, this video was the last drop, I WILL get Yoimiya, currently 24 pity on my 50/50 and 0 wishes but I WILL get her one way or another

Great video! I have recently started playing Genshin again after a few months break. I'm doing the Inazuma story right now and Yoimiya is adorable! I love that idle animation she does with the sparkler! Maybe I should try to pull for her because I do have the Rust bow :3

I love Yoimiya's personality, playstyle, theme and theme song. Her single target dps is very high, and can beat flying enemies easily bc she is a bow character. Overload team can make up for her single target problem. If you are looking for a 3-star weapon, use Slingshot, it can outperform Hamayumi and can almost be as effective as the Rust.

The reason why her burst doesn’t do as much damage is because basically all the damage is put into her normal attacks,so yeah if your planning to pull for yoimiya and your f2p,the rust is a good choice,the talent books can be all put into her normal attacks and elemental skill

All I want for Yoimiya rerun is Thundering Pulse. She has been serve me very well for almost one year now with R5 Hamayumi. She deserves her 5* signature weapon 👍.

I have her since she release at that time everyone was saying she's not good and useless and told me to wait for Raiden. Thank God I didn't listen to them and pull for her . She's cute I like her design and her personality. and that the best choice I've ever made. Don't listen to what anyone says just pull for the character you like 🌝

I played her test run tonight. I've gotten so used to Yelan, I was confused as to why Yoimiya was having so much trouble, and I'm like...OH! RIGHT! Yelan is literally the only archer that can pepper enemies with arrows like she's a mini-gun. NOW I understand why I'm having so much trouble getting Yoimiya to do serious damage. She's not a game-breaker! It would be nice to have a pyro archer with a decent burst, though. (Whenever I get Noelle in a test run, it always annoys me because my Noelle is built so much better and has Skyward Pride.) Also, thanks for warning me off of the weapons banner. I've been trying to get another five-star weapon. If I can get a five-star sword for Bennett or catalyst for Sucrose, I can finally load up my main team with five-star weapons.

Well even if this video was not made I was still going pull yoimiya I wanted her so much since her 1st banner people than thought she is bad but liked her since when I used her in trial.

She was my first 5 star which I got by mistake when I came back to the game and I honestly never regretted getting her, she has been my best girl since her first banner and has always been in my main team especially after I got Zhongli as well, now I am unbeatable :D

i still remember last year when i had her guaranteed i was prefarming. fighting the pyro cube was hell at first but i got used to it and became the easiest cubes to fight imo. i had the rust ready but on the day i got her i also got the skyward harp on the standard LOL

I think it's also worth mentioning that Yelan is absolutely insane with Yoimiya. Xingqiu is already incredibly good, but Yoimiya can't vape his ult consistently but with Yelan she can. Yelan is really just Xingqiu on crack and the synergy is incredible. You can take down even high HP enemies in the blink of an eye.

All these videos made me want yoimiya! It actually convinced me this time! Even though I want Ayaka, her rerun won’t be here for a long time, so I’m going to pull for her and I’d I don’t get her, I can build pity for ayaka! Win Win!

My Amber was built just for Yoimiya,i tried to use Amber as Yoimiya as much as i could, sadly the shitty part where building Amber and play her as if she was Yoimiya is her skill- Overall, i'm very proud of my Walmart Yoimiya ( just because i call her that doesn't mean i don't like her ) ! She does a good amount of dmg so i'm sure my Yoimiya also will ! I built Yun Jin,Xinqiu and Thoma just for her ! : D (i actually built Thoma a while ago before having the idea to prepare in advance for Yoimiya because- i'm a simp y'know ? ) but yeah... PULL FOR BEST GIRL !

I missed her past banners due to me being broke, and I've been waiting for her re run for so long. When I found out she's finally coming back in the next patch, I was ELATED. I started saving and GRINDING so hard after I gained a guaranteed from losing furina's 50/50. I've loved her personality since seeing her in the inazuma quests! After realising through a few instagram reels that she's not a great character (meta) I started looking up some videos. I realised that after the ending of each of the videos I watched discussing why she isn't meta, that I literally did not care if she wasn't and I would pull her anyway, and this video was a breath of fresh air from the other ones saying that she mostly isn't worth the primos. As I already mentioned my decision remains unchanged, Yoimiya has been my waifu for so long and this next patch.. SHE WILL COME HOME!!!!

I got Kazuzu this patch, since he’s been my favorite ever since I joined during his first banner. Back then Yoimiya was a great character in my eyes, but sadly she didn’t come home. I don’t think I’ll get her this time either, I’m currently sitting at 39 pity with 5 wishes and lots of copium. I hope I can somehow still manage to get her. And if not, Qiqi, come home :) I wish every Yoimiya wanter soo much luck!!!!!! May she come home!

Speaking of dmg my Yanfei can perform quite enough and can deal dmg from away and its not a single target and with a 4 star weapon that suites both dps, sub dps, and support characters. The thing that can make players who gone far in this game to pull for her is her personality. Her idle animation is unique like other characters and players naturally have preferences. The character is a replaceable character and it won't hurt you if you skip her not like skipping Zhongli, The Shogun, or Kazuha. I want to get all characters in this game both 4 and 5 star but the company business model is forcing players to make hard decisions including paying money for pixels.

I knew watching this would be dangerous. I watched your Ayaka one and alongside FOMO and the extended rate up it convinced me. But this one...I really like Yoimiya and she really is one of the best characters ingame and I do really want her but it took a lot for me to get Kazuha and I'd like Dori and Dehya who are on the horizon. It's just a shame her banners are so poorly timed...I will try to get her on her rerun ;-;

Yoimiya was my first 5-star (after qiqi ofcourse) and I had so much fun using her! Since I never farmed artifacts or have shielders etc early I kind of sucked late game But now I have better knowledge aand a big pool of built characters Its time to bring the best girl back!!

In the course of playing genshin for a long time, i barely see anyone in coop play Yoimiya. Man i have a thing for units who are looked down upon like seeing them getting trashed and all makes me want to build them and see their max potential and the best in them. In my early gameplay ive seen a lot of people trashing Kaeya and that motivated me to main him. He's really good with heavy investment. Got him the mistsplitter and he's C3 Good job on this video for convincing me to pull for Yoimiya. Im considering a bit but im guaranteed for Al-haitham so yeah.. I have this history of always winning 50/50 after gurantee (but not winning in a row)so i was considering for a bit...
