Hi I'm Siobhan, or BLIND GIRL VLOGS.
Now this vlog is usually about me - my channel and all, but seriously, I love sharing my sight loss journey as someone who is totally blind.
My husband, known as 'im indoors' and I will be walking 90 miles over three days in October to celebrate Guide Dogs' 90 years providing guide dogs and other life-enhancing services to people like us who live with sight loss.

@@BlindGirlVlogs Oh lovely. We still haven't had that catch up about the old days and Perkins Brailler's! I unfortunately checked out for a bit whilst dealing with health and life changes. I married my beautiful bloke six weeks ago and am 4 weeks out from my life changeing surgery and doing exceptionally well. Still recovering, but happier than a pig in mud. 100% support for you and Sean, and plugging it in all possible areas. You are both awesome. You go, my awesome chick. Big big love xxxx

@@BlindGirlVlogs Oh, the surgery was a total hysterectomy and it was the best thing since sliced bread. Uterine cancer and a fist sized fibroid gone. Just radiotherapy and I am all good. Happy days. Mwah xx

I hate it when people comment like that look on the bright side, argh so patronising. It's like the ones I got when I was younger 'there's someone worse off than you'. It was an excuse not to get me any assistance. Shaun should be on the channel more, it's like you're being interviewed by a real journalist.

I think the comment about "look on the bright side" meant the bright side of life in general, not the bright side of being blind (I don't think any sighted person would say that). But it was so incoherent it's difficult to tell what he or she meant. By the way, the link to "three things blind people wouldn't do" is missing.
