First of all, I hope you don't quit SC2. Just enjoy and glhf! Second, IMO 3 gate - blink is better for keeping those stalkers longer, putting pressure and maybe expand during that time. I know, means micro, and below diamond 2 players are not comfortable with that 😂 Also a battery in the main is a must in PvP because of the Oracle harassment. With just 3 gates, you can still add a Forge for upgrades. Toss units with +1 attack hit very hard in the early game. If, however, you don't manage to put pressure on the opponent, add a Robo, make an Observer and a WarpPrism. 3 Gate-Robo is the best defensive built, as well as for zealot harrass with the Prism. It's so much fun if you get the hang of it. GG.

I searched for women playing Starcraft and found your video. I think you did a good job with it. I sent it to my wife. I travel for work alot and she's bored at home now that the kids are gone and she's only working part time. I suggested she play some video games, but she thinks they are just for kids. Our kids used to play with her some and she really liked it. That pretty much stopped since the kids graduated college. I suggested Starcraft because I played the original version years ago and it's a good game to keep your mind sharp. I think she can relate to you because, like I said, she thinks video games are only for young people and is hesitant to try playing versus kids on the internet. Her name is Cindy. Maybe she will comment here since I sent her the video. Hopefully she will take my advice and play some games. She can only walk the dog and tend to the garden so many hours in a day!

While I understand this build is for players underneath diamond, there are some very simple optimizations that don't require too much APM - building the 3rd gateway while your first two stalkers are being built is one, not over building pylons early - also sending a probe across the map but not actually taking any action doesn't really achieve anything - if you are going to be doing the same build regardless you are better off not scouting at all.

as a protoss player who stopped play on 2.8 mmr (peak 3.2) i can say, this will work maybe in platin 3, but in platin 1/ dia1 the opponents know about buidlings and timings and how to know to react. While orange defended last game and u didnt wanna kill probes (oranges mistake was to let them below), your opponent could easily meanhwile build a stargate or robo or going dark demplar with any proxy thing like u. So 4 gate is just brute force, its good for weak opponents or as a surprise on tournaments as an allin.

i wouldnt think one would win every game with a cheesey proxy lol, unless you're naturally good at the game and want to get out of bronze quicker or something

I play your opener but into macro, 2 gates stalker/sentry nexus at 27 stalker stalker, pylon that supports a battery at natural, use 23rd probe to sit at your wall for adepts and make your robo when u have gas into 2 more stalkers pre warp gate and an immortal instantly off the robo so you can have 6 units+an immortal as fast as possible. The sentry rush can scout any all in with 75 mana hallucinate checking there natural before it hits so that you can make batteries if you see no nexus. Then I just look for a 3 base timing attack with archons,chargelots, immortals and good dmg upgrades.

This video is perfect as I am a silver protoss looking to work my way up to gold and stay there, if not hit diamond eventually. People in the comments saying this is cheesy, but I'd gladly take a unit rush tactic to the cannon rush low level protoss are known for, I hate cannon rushing so this is a great alternative. Good for practicing timings too as I'm solid at macro and economy but I'm definitely not aggressive enough at the very beginning. Thanks!
