Set the hook harder on the initial take. Aside from that you did everything well! Bad luck mate, great fishing and video. Thanks for taking the time to share it!
Nothing you could have done there mate. You fought that very well. I guess that's why they call it angling not catching. You could have backed off the drag and gone up a lil higher but the adrenaline takes hold. I wouldnt have changed anything if it was me mate. 10/10 job
I felt that mate. We've all been there - keep at it. Shore fishing for these fish is a whole other level. So many variables that are against you. You did well regardless mate. Chin up!!
Gained a new sub brother, just been binging your vids on my tv but I can’t like on it so I’m gonna go through and like every vid now on the phone haha 😎🤙
Spewing brother, it’s one of the worst feelings in the world. I think you did a pretty good job, it’s always an uphill battle landbased on light tackle.
First Cast! Who the hell can do that? I know I been trying for years just to catch a decent one 🤣 Spewing for ya mate, hopefully next time ya have some better luck.
I feel for ya mate. You'll always second guess yourself after losing a solid fish but thats just the way it is. I don't think you did anything wrong. Persistance will see you onto another 🤘
Hey mate! I plan on putting together a video of the gear I’m Running really soon! That was a millerod Pitch, paired with a 4000 certate ark, 20lb fc rock leader/ 30lb tasline 👍🏼
He probably just played you man, as soon as he got a good look at your mug he decided to spit the bait out, they are pretty good at that the smart asses
I could see you rushing to see the fish and my missus was laughing at me yelling at the tv saying...let it tire...stop cranking it back😂 Awesome upload though mate and yes, I've done the same when I started hunting these on plastics years ago. You just don't know where it's pinned and the adrenaline takes over forcing an error @ times. You'll get that PB😊.. Tight lines 🎣
And that's EXACTLY what happens!! all I had to do was chill... awwww goodness. but none the less I'm hooking them more regularly now! so it's only a matter of time! hope you enjoyed the content none the less!
All things considered l thought you did a great job. Any angler would’ve been anxious with that line so close to the rocks. I think you did the right thing staying put. Pulled hooks is an act of god
I can’t actually argue with your opinion brus, because I didn’t land it in the End, just having tangled with some BIG models before, and feeling the bite, every fibre in my being knows that was a mulloway. But regardless, I hope you enjoyed the content my brother 🤝🏼
