I love these butterflies! So cute,and I'm already getting so many ideas on different ways to use them! (My first idea: attach them to a ring and make napkin rings! ) Your dress design is absolutely stunning! Lovely. I am teaching my 8 yo granddaughter hand and machine sewing at her request. This is a little difficult for small hands but I think the challenge will be fun.

U should always cut with the grain unless cutting bias. If u don't your project could twist on you.

I feel it could use some butterflies on the front of the skirt of the dress made with the same fabric that you used for top portion of the dress. I believe in talking about the bodice.

Love the butterflies and think the ones with bodies are my preferred. I also appreciated the thoughtfulness you employ when making them for someone’s very special day. But then you really knocked it out of the park with your reflections on the journey of women as they grow through life. Again such thoughtfulness . Hi! It means the relation. For example: 6 cm by 10 cm, or 9 by 15, 12 by 20, etc. Hope this helps 😊
