I don't know what town you guys where in but it's worth another visit with all that silver and relics! You killed it on the silver coins John. and I love that both of you found a flat button and Gary's spoon is amazing!! What a rare find!
Awesome, all that silver! That writing metal you found, reminds me I found an "Employee of the month April 1988" in a tot lot the other day, I thought it was hilarious, who would wear that to work lol. Any rate, great video guys, love the spoon to!
Nice hunt ..the best method to clean Tootsie Toy cars, aluminum play spoons, aluminum tokens or play money is to rinse 1st, then using "The Works" toiletbowl cleaner with a toothbrush then rinse well again. Be sure to get the old original Works that has the 9% hydogen cloride and not the "classic clean" version.. best use gloves too.

John, I notice you guys nearly ever use the pinpoint feature on the nox. Is it because you get a good feel by waving the DD over the target? have about 3 hrs on my 800 thus far after being a Garret man for awhile. Definitely a learning curve, especially getting used to the 0-40 VDI, vs a 0-100
We've just gotten comfortable by isolating the target using our coil, works just as good for us in most cases & quicker. Nice change, you will grow to love the Nox. Thanks for watching!
Where do yall hunt? Is it in the northeast somewhere? All the best stuff seems to be up there. STILL looking to find my first silver coin in SC. Only silver I found was a friendship ring from the 70's.
Yo here's an idea the next time you ask for a permission like the one where the guy said yes but his wife said no ask nicely if they've ever metal detected and if they'd let you on their property you'll bring an extra detector for them to come out and use you'll show them how to use it maybe even you can make a sale after if they catch the bug so to speak
@Dig That Beep say I know you think we'll leave a big crater in your yard but we're very respectful and will leave the area just like it was you'll never know we were here anyways tell them if they have a couple minutes you'll take them around the yard show them how to use the detector and when they find something for the first time they'll be hooked and because you were a nice person you'll give them a great deal on a detector of their own and will even be asked to come on outings making new friends finding cool stuff having a good time maybe even making money something they find they can sell on eBay
