The whole point of Take Me Home was supposed to be an anxiety builder so that is why there’s so many fake outs. They wanted you to be the most uncomfortable listening to this track?
that's actually my favorite song on the album. it's not about hearing a breakdown for me it's about how a song is composed. that song makes me feel like i'm in a horror movie full of anxiety
Realistically Boundaries doing laps around this album. I like the vibe and the experimentation, but if they wanna do interludes I wish there were a couple more songs. Couple more banger and this could be top 5
That’s a bit of a stretch. Boundaries album was fantastic but didn’t have nearly the same flow or tension throughout, I can see this not being your cup of tea but saying boundaries is “doing laps” around this is pushing it haha
Not to mention the drums on boundaries sound weak as fuck, that’s my biggest complain. The mix overall sounds so thin compared to this, songwriting aside

great songs ruined by terrible production. this mix is just low end on top of low end, it's so muddy, the only things that cut through are the snare and vocals. its missing the punchy drums and riffs of their older material. really kills the album for me.
@@colinjensen8303 yep, did you? the guitars and bass are just a wall of sludge that mask everything except the elements with large amounts of treble, like the snare and the vox. if the band wants big, high quality production they should at least give every instrument some clarity.
all the bangers were releasd already lol the new songs are all mid asf imo i miss when bands only released 2 early songs and then we got a whole ablum to explore
