In Pakistan and India they have been mixing it like this for many years. I would do it myself in my home, it’s very common. If you need a brighter color, put black tea water in the mixture.
I used to work in a sushi restaurant and we would have to mix up wasabi powder into a paste every morning. It looked exactly like this except it was chemical warfare and everyone in the kitchen would be crying
I never mixed wasabi but i used to work a place where we had to handle concetrated jalapenos and I legitimately had to be pulled from that spot in the place because it triggered an asthma attack for me every single time. Spices and peppers can be no joke sometimes.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 first time my husband tried to cook for himself he made home made pepper spray by putting a chicken breast covered in spice into a searing hot dry pan. I woke up coughing eyes watering sneezing boogers everywhere trying to open up all the windows thru burning eyeballs
@@RyanFox85THANK YOU for mentioning this! My husband doesn't spend a lot of time in the kitchen, which is fine because I enjoy it. But I have severe health issues and we don't take every tomorrow for granted. So I've been trying to make sure he's set and can take better care of himself now (if I unexpectedly depart) than when I married his skinny little self back in the day! 🤣 I'm definitely going to share your story with him as a cautionary tale. I often forget how many things I do intuitively in the kitchen! 🤣
Could you do more videos on how to make the tip of the cone really small . I’ve started doing henna , know how to mix it but don’t know how to make the cones or pipe the designs really well . Help please
Here in India, we just make a closed cone with plastic circles (or any shape is fine as long as you're following a good closed cone making tutorial) and then cut the tiniest bit off of the tip with scissors. Easy peasy :P
@@bayanhan6886add enough water that when you drop it from a height it should have a stringy consistency but it's not runny like water/oil (May be honey-like viscosity?)
Well, if she gets it on her hair that is just a little mishap and it might stain her hair. She wears gloves to prevent her hands from staining so it's alright
Yup this is how I mix mine. So much easier, nothing extra to wash and you can feel for your perfect texture along the way. Also wish there was smellavision lol henna is my favourite smell!
oh my! i can not stand the smell of henna, it makes me nauseous 😭 i wish i could wear more henna but i don’t because of how uncomfortable it makes me! you are lucky 🥰
For some reason after posting I can already hear someone that will comment, “omg we do that actually in __________!” So just want to clarify that most people probably haven’t seen henna mixed this way on social media, but if you already do it in your place where you live that’s awesome!
@@lauriazoldyck ahahah idk why I was like oh boy I feel like there’s going to be someone out there that’s going to say that so let me just address it now 😂 the result of being on the internet for so long you start to hear potential comments before they even exist 🙈
@@GopiHenna that’s actually pretty sad tbh. You don’t need to justify yourself, let them talk in the comments they’re only gonna make your channel more visible ❤
@@lauriazoldyck that’s true, it’s moreso irritating when I get those kinds of comments so sometimes I like to address it head on, but that is a good point!
Maybe longer sleeve gloves? Maybe ellbow length? In that length are reusable once as well. 😊 I think mixing might be relaxter 'cause you don't need to worry about getting your arm dirty. That way you could reach in in different angles as well 😊
You people really act like you're going to eat the fucking thing. It's to stain your hands or whatever else part of your body. There's nothing gross about her not putting her hair up or not wearing gloves. Something so goddamn dramatic.
I thought henna had bad reactions to metal? I could be wrong. I LOOOOOVE mixing my henna with my hand, Im able to feel the consistency and its just satisfying. lol
For me, doing anything with my hands feels better. Might be that I'm seeking for sensory inputs but idk whenever I'm baking something I'd rather not use the mixer (which is also too loud for me) and go with a spatula or a fork before going with my hands
You’re correct, unless it’s stainless steel. I only ever use glass just in case. I was very surprised I had to scroll this far down to find someone say something!!
@@kmindte thanks, I had no clue. I also use glass bowls. 😊 I was also looking for someone to say something because I wanted an answer hahaha but had to ask myself lol
I only know this because I'm a hairstylist, and most chemical hair colors contain metallic salts so most people with henna on their hair can't have a chemical hair color service done, but henna + metal creates a chemical reaction that puts off extreme heat.@@mustima7547
Out of curiosity does mixing henna in metal matter? Every time i get it the instructions always saynot to but i see you doing it so please explain!!! Much love
Looks like it was mostly essential oil and lemon juice. There was something solid that looked like sugar but I'm unsure there. But generally, you mix henna with oil and a gentle acid (like lemon juice)
