Here is a side note...you can actually whip wax!! I worked for Hobby Lobby, Endless Possibilities in OKC. We put wax in a bucket, use a drill and the tool to mix paint and let it go till whipped!! We did this for the cappuccino candles we did as well as others! Add you scents and done!

Great video, Katelyn! I owned a candle making business for several years, and I just wanted to say that you can hot glue wicks to the bottoms of the jars, and it will help keep them in place so they don’t float around. 🙂

I find that easier too, but you know what's funny? I had someone comment on a video I did saying they professionally made candles and it was silly that I used hot glue to hold down the wick. So many right ways to craft & very few wrong ways.

Cayute ideas! As an alternative, if you wanted to be able to burn the "pumpkin pie" candle, instead of using spackle, partially melt a white candle, put it in a bowl & whip it a bit. Then put it in a piping bag the same as you did with the spackle. So cute! Thanks for sharing!

Yeah it makes no sense to make a candle and not be able to burn it just display it just don’t put the wick in it or don’t use wax lol just make it make sense a little

Love the candles, Katelyn! I've started melting down candles when there's only an inch or two left in the jar, then making layered candles with complimentary scents. Great way to use up that usually-wasted wax (I also save the jars for future candles as well). 😊🕯

I have a suggestion i want to share. I saw this on Chic on the Cheap. If you want to make your own candles you can melt scented wax melts along with the candle in the same container and then you have scented candles if you are buying the talk candles from dollar tree.
