You Won't Believe These Insane Planets That Actually Exist 

Since the universe is so big, and no life had been discovered outside earth, who’s to say other life forms don’t even need air, heat, cold, etc? Nobody really knows the requirements for other species, since we don’t have info on them. Crazy to think about not breathing. 😅

Everything isn't bigger that we find, its just that we can't find the smaller stuff yet, but hopefully the James Webb Telescope will find much smaller things, and look further into the background of the universe, and make our bubble of view bigger!

Sadly, with our current telescopes and tech, all we can observe at the moment are large Jupiter plus sized planets and other gas giants orbiting extremely close to their parent Stars. Hopefully, one day with better telescopes and tech, if we haven't annihilated ourselves in a global Nuclear war, we will be able to observe smaller, Earth sized planets farther away from the star.

Now we just have to figure out how to get there..

Imagine how bad hailstorms must be on some of those planets like it rains small glass shards and from time to time you get hit with a glass pane 🤣🤣🤣

There's been a recent discovery of a planet in the centauri binary system the orbits proxima centauri (Proxima b). That being the stars closest to our solar system. And actually believed to be in the habitable zone of the red dwarf. And that many sci-fi's were right about the light on the planets, it would be a dull red light in the daytime, imagine how dark night would be. If you go to the pbs channel, space time, here on you tube and it's very very interesting. However if it doesn't have a magnetosphere then that would make things difficult like Kepler B

Planet 18 isn't a planet, it is a failed star or also known as a Brown Dwarf, that's why it's so far from it's star and why it so hot. It didn't gather enough material to ignite.

And there's plenty more to be found in the vastness of space, as Picard said; "Let's see what's out there!"

Thanks for this wonderful description of planets around the universe. It makes it sound as if the universe could one day make for a great vacation. I think it was in 1972 when I listened to Margaret Mead talk about "What we know". One of the most interesting things I remember is her talking about blue-green algae and how it has been found in the hottest(volcanoes) and the coldest of environments on the earth. So, if you stretch that just a bit more, can you envision life on what we believe are inhospitable planets that has evolved to tolerate those conditions? And we still know so little about the universe that I wonder if there is "life" infinitely smaller than we are and/or infinitely larger than what we know. Perhaps we're the infections of a different form of life?

One thing that always comes to my mind when I watch videos like these is that these planets are so many light years away an were so arrogant to think that just because we need these specific conditions on earth to be here than beings on a planet 500 light years away would need the same as us it’s so unknown an unproven it could be giant rock like creatures that need a 600° f planet to live or a -150° planet you know ? Cause it’s not like we could just prove it we can’t even make it there to find out

Precious gems and metals values depend for the most part on there rarity so if mankind made it to the diamond planet of jansen, it actually wouldn't make you as rich, (assuming that by rich you mean the worth of the diamond's is high because any useful material in bulk can make anyone rich). Since this would make diamond's not rare anymore, this would actually bring the value of the diamond down much more significantly low.

i would speak on behalf of the rest of the world that we would appreciate if you include metric units in your videos, just a small text on a corner is good enough imo.

I will never understand why every study and video about the universe always says " because it has water there might be a chance for Life" this is such a narrow minded concept for alien life because we have clearly discovered within our own plant creatures and organisms that can live not only in extreme conditions but also without necessities others need. This would clearly mean that it's 100% possible that organisms and creatures can live on other planets as well even if it isn't suitable for our life. What I'm trying to say is if their is intelligent alien life it's entirely possible that you are looking in the wrong place because you assume they require water, or similar gravity to earth, ect.
