I use to teach high school in Pulaski, TN, and it was one of the best experiences of my teaching career, The students, whom were majority white, were some of the most respectable kids I have ever encountered. Always Recognize who Devils are: * They never talk about Love & Respect for others. * They Always spew Hate, Lies, Oppression, Inhumanity and Racism. * They are about "Love of Money" , Greed and Theft". * They will sell their Soul for Money, Power and Vanity. * They have no empathy for others but expect you to have it for them. * They Don't Believe in Equality or Fairness. * They will use Religion and Abortion to Manipulate voters while pretending to be holy when they are not. * They will use the Lord's name in vain to push an agenda of Lies, Deceite and Bigotry to divide others. * They will blame others for their actions without taking responsibility. * They will vote to keep you down while lifting themselves up. * They are about Self-hating against their own ethnic group just to prosper in life. * They will promote Evil over Good. * They will preach one thing while doing the opposite. * They will look down on the Poor or those who are Disadvantaged. * They Don't want the "Truth" to be taught in schools because it makes them seen in a bad or negative light. * They will try to change history to cover up their Evil Deeds. * They will switch sides for self-preservation when they see the writing on the wall. Over a twenty five year period of working as a healthcare provider you can surely write a book on the good, the bad and the ugly. During my time the good was beautiful, the bad was just bad and the mean / ugly was horrendous. I wondered how much hate and pain a person could carry before taking their last breaths. ** Hospice Nurses sometimes post an account of their experiences with their patients during Hospice Care and it can be quite enlightening.

I had the misfortune of living for two years in Jacksonville, Florida, when my company closed down the former main office in New Jersey and paid for me to relocate there. There were only 4 people in my department, and I was the only Jewish person. The black maintenance person had to paint over the racist and antisemitic graffiti, including swastikas, on a weekly basis in the bathroom that my department used. Furthermore, I had to drive past billboards going to work that were tagged with huge swastikas. I hated living there. Right after I moved, the mayor (who was actually quite a reasonable person) decided that black college students didn't have anywhere to go for Spring Break, so he thought it would be a great idea to turn Jacksonville into a 'destination' vacation spot for black universities. Cool idea, except that the students discovered when they got there, that the police and residents were not quite as welcoming as the mayor, and they spoke up about how terribly they were treated. BTW, there is racism EVERYWHERE. When I was a high school student, I attended a summer science symposium at Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland Ohio. I expected (and mostly met) some really smart students there from all over the country. Unfortunately, I also met this one white kid who bragged that when he got home, he would prove to his father that he wasn't afraid to shoot 'n*****s'. I CERTAINLY did not want him to ever find out I was Jewish. Obviously, I kept my distance. Also, while growing up in suburban New York, I witnessed a race riot IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. I had no idea just how racist my neighbors were, until one family decided to move out and rumor had it that he was selling his house to a black family (note that most people probably never realized that we already had a black family living there -- I only knew because I was part of the literary magazine at my high school, and they guy was a talented dancer and poet and actually was the editor of the literary magazine. Anyway, one of my good old neighbors threw a brick through a window of the family's house, and either the same or different person vandalized their car by slashing the tires. My family has always been very liberal, and my dad (who actually had been honored by a church in Harlem for representing them in a case) decided to go out and confront the people who were rioting and tried to calm them down. I was watching the whole thing through my bedroom window, afraid for what might happen. Soon, they did quiet down and everyone went home. But I never saw our neighbors again in the same way.

Growing up in northeast Pennsylvania in the 1980s, I never saw a black person in person until I was in high school. I grew up experiencing classmates, whose parents attended Klan meetings and hearing stories about relatives who beat a teenage black boy to death simply for being black. The N-word was commonly used by everyone, not only to describe black people but also to describe to anybody seen as dumb or lazy. after high school, I decided that I wasn’t going to participate in the racism that surrounded me as a child. 30 years later I’m now a lifetime member of the NAACP and a founding member of our local Black Lives Matter branch. and I am very vocally anti-racist.

Mr. Jones was a very competent principle. He treated us all equally harsh when we got out of hand. I developed a great deal of respect for him and contribute his leadership in making my high school years one of the best periods of my life. I am in my 60s now and am well educated and traveled. I can say with a good deal of certainty that in the south today the extreme racist are few, and on the fringe of society. Unfortunately, I think this makes them more dangerous. As a black man, I love to see white America displaying their white pride.. The reason being is that just as we black Americans openly display and freely market black pride without objection, other races need to be allowed to do the same... I think white pride gets lumped in with being racist when I don't think that's always the case... I think white American men are the most suppressed as it relates to expression.. The suppression of white America is directly proportionate to the degradation of the America that the world has learned to respect and love... I love fighting for the rights of black people but honestly we won't be able achieve those rights with every other nation coming and interfering with our unfinished business... Liberals have destroyed black America.. Our black leaders have proven to be unworthy and useless...I believe if conservatives would have led the black American agenda they would have allowed us to lead ourselves without interference.... In 2000, my company sent me to Florida for a training seminar. For this trip, I overstayed two hours in Georgia on top of my next flight being late. I got hungry and I went to a local eatery cafe in the airport. The cafe was busy but not too crowded. However, despite the many times I asked for a menu, I was ignored by the waitress. I decided to go to the bar to ask for a menu. The bar tender also ignored my request. I could not make sense of what was going on. A cleaning crew outside of the cafe saw me at the bar waiting to be attended to when a lovely old black lady signaled me to get out of the eatery. I approached her and asked her if she needed to talk to me. She responded, "You should not be there." I asked the lovely lady why? She said that the eatery was for whites only. They will not serve you because you are brown. She said, here is a bottle of water, and there is another cafe on the other side of the terminal where they serve anyone. Then she left. This was my first time in Atlanta, Georgia, experiencing white-hate racial discrimination because of the color of my skin. I never went back to that Confederate state.

Now that we have a new Chief our police force has been changed significantly. Unfortunately we still have a council member by the name of Garry Bredefeld, who represents North Fresno where all the wealth is, who constantly undermines any attempt that the rest of the council makes to the lower-income areas mentioned. It's not just west Fresno either, parts of East Fresno or just as bad. The worst part which thankfully has been fixed was when white supremacist groups we're trying to take over the Tower district during the pandemic, and were supported by the council member whose name I mentioned.

I have to agree that Harrison, AR is #1 on this list. When I was an administrator we banned playing any sports with Harrison schools due to the harassment their players, refs, and spectators unleashed on our teams, parents, and coaches. They e made some good hiring moves lately but the city has a long way to go.

So you mean they are hiring more affirmative action things. Look at how that has worked out for everywhere that did that. Name me one just one successful black run anything-country, county, town. household. Just one.
@kimberlycooley3801
@kimberlycooley3801 Год назад
@savinghistory642 There were many successfully run communities and cities in the US. One was bombed - Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There were 20 plus similar areas around the country. All of them were destroyed within one year when expressways were built in the cities. Before they were destroyed through the use of "eminent domain" laws, ordinances were set in in place - what neighborhoods the displaced People of Color could move to, jobs they could hold (many were business owners.), etc. Paradise Valley and Black Bottom were two examples in Detroit, Michigan. Eminent Domain laws were used and the majority of the businesses closed. Most business owners were shut down permanently because they didn't own their buildings. The owners were compensated, they were not. Furthermore, zoning laws prevented them from opening or receiving the necessary permits to re-open in other areas. Most wound up working assembly at Ford Motor Company then later Chrysler (now Stellantis) or General Motors. Theater option was domestic work or manual labor. I know this because I am a decendant of a Black Bottom business owner. My family's history was different than most. The Juke Box owner liked my family. He got a lease for their restaurant in a neighborhood they were not allowed. When the building owners found out, they were FURIOUS! My Grandmother was a beautiful woman - statuesque, elegant, and had an engaging laugh and personality. Her food was amazing (Shrimp, Chicken, Fish, and Oysters). Her business to this day would still be state-of-the-art with the exception of her point of sale system. She was opened for over 60 years then retired. That's just ONE instance. There are hundreds of thousands more! Other people were not so fortunate. They were forced into work they didn't want. If they managed to acquire commercial space and others joined them, suddenly a new expressway, boulevard, etc would get built and eminent domain took away again. All this is provable! The main public library in Detroit has "The Burton Collection" online. The City of Detroit is now acknowledging this past and rebuilding an area taken. "Redlining" is another reason. How do you operate a city with low resources due to redirected federal dollars, charged higher for taxes and utilities, target limits on standard municipal services, etc. This system will change. In fact, it's changing! That's why the fear, lies, and rhetoric like yours.

As a student you must realize 'paying attention' is a crucial self discipline for an education as well as reading the books assigned. Read the assignment 3 times & make notes on the most important parts to remember in preparation for tests. After reading test your recall. Learning is work, work is always being willing to learn. It is hugely expensive to live in Hawaii in general. So many people want to live therep(mostly white) and nearly everything has to be imported. I had a cousin who lived there when he worked for the government. When he retired the air force offered to resettle him anywhere he wanted. Instead of staying in Hawaii, he picked a rural place about 60 miles east of San Francisco, because it was so much cheaper.

@@redyurt5367 I didn't know they would do that kind of thing either. It may have had something to with his job for the air force. He worked in their communications. That means he was privileged to a lot of secret information and documents. He had been with them for over 20 years. It was probably their way of showing their appreciation and at the same time to keep an eye on him after he retired.

@@redyurt5367 Hawai'i is considered a field site by DoD. If you retire while based there, the government will ship you to any (or at least most) location in the mainland. It would be the same as if you retired while based in Europe or Asia. I think it has more to do with the logistics of travel than anything else.
