Same. When I was a little girl, every few months I'd take my mom's button jar and spill all the buttons out onto a jelly roll pan and play Button Beauty Pageant.

I love your button review! I have a big box of buttons that I like to go through every now and then. I use them to fix things and for eyes for plush frogs (I fill them with dried kidney beans for sensory goodness)
Your face looked like you thought it was weird to show us the best buttons, but I would literally sit and sort buttons during a movie or something, just for fun. Weird. 😁

Kathleen I can't stop watching your videos, you're so entertaining! I'm now also addicted to thrifting and committed to exploring my wacky side style-wise thanks to you. I think it's definitely the Thrift God who prices things with magical writing. I have an image of him looking like Zeus, kind of angry in the clouds with a beard but also benevolent to those who have faith in the thrift.

Be still my beating heart! Buttons! My Mom had an old fruitcake (ugh) tin full of buttons that she let me go through when I was a kid and it instilled an obsession for buttons.
Late to the party here, but I'm having a cosy binge watch evening of your back catalogue (why does that sound so creepy I'm sorry). Earlier I watched a video where you briefly brought up ranking your button collection but I didn't know which video it was from, and now here I am unsuspectingly watching this video when BAM surprise button ranking and I audibly whispered "yess" to myself cos I'm that cool.
I literally always notice how similar the handwriting is for every thrift store price tag... seriously why are all thrift store employees writing with the same hand? Lol
@@KathleenIllustrated ok i maaaaaaaaaybe went to goodwill and i miiiiiight have come back with a cute chunky spring colored sweater, a little western style plaid button up (bright colors and shiny snaps), a floaty light pink skirt with the cutest little gold hearts on the outer layer, and a phone case i've had in my amazon cart for 2 months ! ....and also some matching hand painted ceramic frames that will turn into a mother's day gift.... all for 18$
