I love Jewels style Vanessa, she's making Africa look like Africa, not the U.S. or the UK. When we go to China it looks like China, when you go to Germany you ride in a German built BMW or Mercedes taxi. I love her vision for the African look. 😀👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

As an Afro-American and an artist, I'm excited to see this! i wanna go to ghana and by Ghanian goods ! I see so many Ghanian artists in the afro- American space and that's cool but i always wonder what there authentic style is like but everybody got mad when i say that here lol never mind then. Anywho, hope she keep at it.

This is it... artisanship, scholarship and the value is evident. If I was in Ghana or Naij (and could afford) I'd buy one of these tables. Native to the land, rare and built with careful and deliberate artisanship. What I think we could all do without is the idea of "we need to show the world", "we need to ask ourselves"... we don't need to do anything. Create and consume organically, reimagine your world for you and if your imagination is great enough, you will love the world you create.

This is beyond what the rest of the world think of Africa, when you go to China, they use African trees to make their creative designs, so expensive and they’re buying it here in Africa for just a little amount of money because we don’t know the value. I hope she could be visiting countries in Africa to transform so many things into creative arts. God bless you
