Some people don't want me to decide on camera if I like a fragrance or not. They prefer no first impressions videos. They want to me to test everything and tell people exactly what they are like. And I'm like I don't even have time to test every single fragrance. But according to some I should test before I decide if I like a fragrance or not. Not judge from smell alone? LOL! I was like crazy what the heck? Who's got time for this many fragrances? I only wear and test fragrances I love the smell of. ;)
Wow what a haul 😍. Yes please to an updated video on Orzia L Legrand. They make beautiful perfumes and I ❤their packaging. Horizon is amazing, and it really gives me 1920’s Gatsby vibes…
I got the Harrods advent calendar from my husband for Christmas and I'll open the whole thing Christmas day, Harvey Nichols fragrance calendar too. So excited for Christmas day 😊😊
HA! Rêve d'or is like the ultimate oldschool fragrance . I think my grandpa used to wear it, and it costs about 10 bucks or 150 mad around here for 423ml. About Bensimon, it's a Sephardic Jewish name, it's actually very common in North Africa. I believe the creators of the brand were born in Algeria, but immigrated to France and created their own brand. Ben means son in both dialectal Arabic and Hebrew, so it would be like "Son of Simon".
It's a risk but I haven't had any issues. I always check in and carry samples and very small atomizers with me without any problems. The only time I was stopped was when I brought back a bag of Louis Vuitton perfumes from the Paris Duty Free and I was asked what the value was.
Love the Haul Videos. I am very interested in the Advent Calendar from Harrods. I have already ordered the F&M Tea Advent Calendar (Piccadilly House). I need a fragrance Advent Calendar. Have a Great Day! Cheers! 🎉🎉🎉😁
Cheers Sebastian a wow haul as Always. You spoil us each trip lol . And of course you obviously have to give your thoughts and descriptions of what you’re showing us , do precisely what you know and do so damn well , onwards to 300k for sure ✌️🙏🤛
WOOHOO. Yes I'm so happy to have one. And to have met an SA while there and she's turned out to be my personal Harrods shopper! If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have been able to get one because first attempt they were sold out. But some were uncovered. Woohoo!! :)
Liberty did one two years ago, it was fabulous. I grabbed the Space NK frag one cos it’s great value but not amazing curation like Liberty and Harrods.
I recently tried to buy minis in a Christmas release from a UK company. They had it on their European website and it was such good value. The only problem was it wasn't for sale outside the UK and I was so mad 😆. They let you buy it and then cancel your order. I wanted the mini Carmina from Creed for my purse so bad!
It was sold out while I was in London so in August. But my SA messaged me around the early part of September and said we got some more in do you want any. So I jumped at it and bought it along with the Amber Intrigue. So I ended up with one! :)
I really like Rouge Trafalgar Esprit but it smells like a combo of the original + Burberry her which was also create my Francis Kurkdijan. So rather than purchase a full bottle I’ll layer until my bottles are empty & then I’ll consider purchasing RT Esprit.
@@ThePerfumeGuy the Dubai stores are a lot better (& cheaper for the same fragrances). You’ll have the time of your life! Must try - Resala, Diwan, Al Fareed, Jabal Al Tamya, Aseel Special Edition, Desert Falcon, Madawi, Sultani, Royal Oud, Taraf & Zumorod.
I'm going to try and find a really good deal or a promotion to buy it. I'll eventually review it along with the parfum of Soleil Neige. So hopefully soon! :)
The Amber Intrigue doesn't have a convincing date for me, more cinnamon and strawberry. The sweetness with the soapy feeling (now I've said it you'll notice) is really clashing. I was repulsed more than smelling butyric acid. The chamomile is non-existent and it is a coumarin bomb.
I think it’s the idea of rhubarb with all the notes that they put together. They don’t really have to use rhubarb in a fragrance that smells like rhubarb they can create the smell.
rhubarb does not exist as an ingredient I believe. It can't be distilled into a scented oil; it's always recreated with other notes and synthetic (almost all fruity smelling notes are)
LOL. Well I travel to Europe and UK quite often and have been to many many department stores and I felt Liberty Of London was the most cramped. Overstuffed. That doesn't mean it's ugly but just seemed small frame with a lot of products. I still enjoyed my time there though. Loved the downstairs where they had the perfumes. It reminded me a bit of San Francisco's Barneys.
