Your opening line about being in a place with no friends or family, was so helpful, because if your single, often that is just the way it is. I have preached for many years for couples to embrace being a covering for us singles. It is compassion and it makes a difference.
I have a converted shuttle bus also. I love it sooo much and enjoy seeing others’ buses. Yours is gorgeous. Good job. It’s wonderful to hear how much you enjoy it and how fulfilling it is! Hope to see you on the road!
I’m 61, I’m looking at this wishing desperately that I had done this at his age, what an adventure. When he is 61 sitting on his porch the grin on his face remembering this will be just magical! Great life, great attitude, well done!
@erikamassey3582 I'm 60, I'm looking at this and thinking I can't wait to start my shuttle bus build and hit the road on an artist adventure! I have many friends I've made on the road our age and much much older. It's never to late to follow your dreams...I'm learning that when you take a leap of faith, well that's when the magic happens.
You still can. I got my first van & converted it when I was 60. I’ve seen all but 13 states, Hawaii included. If you have the will, you’ll make the way!
Such a cozy and comfy looking bus and I love how much he obviously loves Bailey so much! She's so floofy and beautiful! I'm drooling over their current location!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great work guys. The tiny home bus, exudes an understated sophistication & elegance without sacrificing comfort or function. Furthermore, your views from the bus are incredible.
Gorgeous build and wonderful home! I love how Bailey watched and paid attention to you as you have the tour and told your story. I have a Siberian Husky mix, named Wally. I'm in awe of this breed and how smart they are. Happy trails! Thanks for a great tour!
Thought, based on another bus I have seen... add more solar, hinged from the deck to hang down when on the road, and to make shade and rain cover over your outdoor kitchen when raised up. It will likely only produce when stationary and up, but it will not take up any space and keep your batteries topped off better.
I absolutely love your bus it look's so homely. I'm sooo happy a d fills my heart with the true love and bond you have with your furbaby best loyal unconditional loving Bailey he is absolutely gorgeous and I?wishh you both all the very best and lot's of fun and laughter and dream's ❤💙🐾🐾🐾God bless you both 🙏 and safe travels x
I appreciate his advice regarding quite the noise and it being your life. I've been back and forth but feel a little more confident. Beautiful Beautiful build also. Peace and Blessings and safe travels 💚🌎💚
Very informative video. Thanks for sharing and for pointing out the things people should think about while deciding whether this is the type of life the want to live. Currently in the design phase of my own bus. Shower has been my biggest hangup so thanks for the tour. Reopened my creative network in the brain and gave me plenty of inspiration. God Bless you and your Fuzzy friend out there on the roads. Be safe, have fun and "Chase what makes you feel free". (Love that)
What I got from this, is that this young man GETS IT! He really gets that LIFE IS SHORT and that we all must do our own thing and enjoy OUR LIVES and ignore the ID10TS with their negative judgements. And to the people who thing people like this man are crazy.... just one word to y'all! *MIRROR!*
I’m moving in my trailer this coming Sunday, so excited and nervous.. This is a great inspiration, your home is very nice, I love the setup, the design and decoration you put in 👍👍👍
He makes me so proud to know thier are gd normal happy ppl in our world mixing it up and living with toe in normal world he seems at peace his mother did gd job x
Delaware here, Uncle/Aunt live in West Chester & Aunt/Uncle in Paoli. Spent alot of time visiting their homes & still do now. Nice build, can a husky be shaven if you want to stay in very warm climates...
Hey, very nice bus design. Love the shade of Country Blue on your cupboards and elsewhere. My most favorite part is the double sunroof over the kitchen. Absolutely necessary, IMO. Natural sunlight can be inspirational. I do worry about the ceiling over the shower, tho: you can see the insulation (?) peeking out by the edge near the outer wall. Will water getting in there cause mold, eventually? Also love the open feel in the space by the kitchen and toward the front. door…terrific door, BTW. You did a great job including the extra space below the bed, too. Good luck on your journey and give that gorgeous pupper a pat for me. Added: Just wondered, if the outside wooden shelf/table is too heavy, could you substitute aluminum?
Everything looks fabulous … but… I think your residential house front door seems a bit wonky on a shuttle bus. Just my opinion. 😬 Everything else looks fantastic though. 😊
oh shit west chester!!! wasn't expecting to see someone from dub C on here!! lol.. I am from phoenixville....small world! Great bus, you can see how excited and happy you are- safe and fun travels friend!
Is it possible to use one of those new solar battery generators as the main power source for a build like this. Or do you have to do all of that wiring?
Mike… congrats! I have a motor home and always wanted a bigger door. What size was it in beginning? If you had to cut if you can share what you used to cut it larger etc. thanks.
Great build and an even greater interview! Is the queen bed the standard length? How tall is Mike and does he find the bed long enough for him? I ask because i am 6'1" and the crosswise beds I've slept on seem to be a little too short. Thanks!
