That's what I say it's called greed there just sitting collecting dust rotting and rather than sell reasonable. They rather let them dick they could be sold and give to charity or give to homeless I'm homeless for almost two yrs myself it makes me sick to see these
I'm happy to see they finally got security to protect it ,I hate when people destroy others property,I mean if your homeless and u find a place to stay do t tear it up ,have respect for others
yeah but i didn't undestand also put a price alwost double that was paid...it's unfair. The owner he's rather that happen all this sad situation than sell it an razonable price ...bah...and i m sure that it's not poor
Stop generalizing everyone who is homeless. Those who need the most support. Addiction is a disease. They need help. Not someone saying they are completely incompetent. @@RENEEJackson-fp4lz
Regardless of how rich a person is, I don't understand why they'd just leave this investment to rot rather than trying to do something with it like renting it out or even having it as a air b&b to keep it occupied. I know that rentals get vandalized as well but just leaving it to slowly rot a depreciate is just so wrong. Even figure something else out to help people in need but I also know that the neighbourhood would prevent certain ventures due to its exclusivity!! I always hate to see beautiful places left to rot and to be vandalized!
I noticed when people have soo much money they dont be caring they just think i will get another one or its really nothing because they have money on top of money
Wow!! One of the Sickest Houses i've ever seen!! Man i'd never would've abandoned this House if i lived here!! I'd keep it Forever and just keep renovating it!
Here i am sitting in my 3 bedroom 1100 sq foot house that can fit in the master bedroom of this house wondering how anyone could just abandon such a beautiful home. What is would do to have that house. Some people have so much that they don’t deserve… most people deserve more than they will ever have
Raised 4 children in a three bedroom home. The home not counting carport and utility room is just over a thousand square feet. My husband an I sure had to work hard to pay for this home. Still here, kids grown. I can't even imagine the taxes and home owners insurance on a place like that.
It's really sad that they trashed the place. They could've just stayed and not trash it, that's probably why they don't have a place if their own they don't know how to take care of anything.
I'm still wondering why Mansions of this size and opulence are being built since they always seem to have trouble reselling and keeping any permanent residence. They just get left to what happened to this one. I'm also saddened and disgusted at the purposely broken stone stair treds, that is just so unbelievable. Thanks for the tour. Loved the Rainfall shower.
Thank you for sharing this I would love to see the after video when it gets renovated it was very nice at one time it’s sad that they broke in and messed with it .
Kinda reminds me of Last Man on earth.... blows my mind that it's just left lonely. If these guys are cheeky enough to choose such an Amazing Mansion to squat in they get shelter warmed maybe they could give back by treating it with basic common curtsy instead of trashing this truly Mind Blown. Thankyou for sharing thi adventure
That 2 ft. Tall cut out hole in the long master closet was where a safe was encased at one time. They must have removed it when they left. Nice house. Thanks for sharing!
Hi local from SoCal here what this man didn't mention in the video here is the last owner was a doctor who convicted on some sort of fraud charges can't remember exactly what and before they we're able to fully prosecute him the doctor took off and they haven't been able to find him. So I am assuming he is the one who took the safe obviously..
Cut outs in a closet are generally so you can access any water pipes on the other side without having to rip out the tile on the bath-side to get to any leak.
I would love kitchen cabinets and sofas wow . They can open this home for Veterans and single working Americans that we all face hardships ❤❤❤Amazingly beautiful home
I understand John Powers Middleton's father is worth 3.5 billion USD, leaving a mansion worth a measly 5 million will not make them loose any sleep over it.
It is stupid to put the house at a higher and higher price (much more than what was paid) after abandoning it. I really don't understand the point... Wasn't it better at half price than what the man paid for it? It's better to get some money back than to see the house rotten always more day by day and let all this strange situation pass
Strange how the police cant move sqatters from an average persons home legally can do NOTHING !! but seem to have no trouble getting them out of RICH PE0PLES HOMES !!
The dome was an entry way for the homeowner after he would park his cars. Even though he had an actual garage that dome led to an outdoor carport/driveway. Cool shxt.
This home was beautiful I would love to see a view like that all I can say is omg if someone was sleeping there because they dent have no where to go don't vandalize the property but they don't care cause they dent work for it but it was a beautiful Mansion.
I love this Can of vidéo,every Time watching huge abandonned housse you feel really bizarre sentiments about life ,about the Time pass.. Also i live in à 35 m2 studio in huge student town in south of France ,i have a bed wall and a tyni kitchen and shower but i dont know why i feel so much confortable, safe ,and great in my small place when i watch those huge abandonned and dead house and palace on RU-vid....yes maybe because i Am alive and those place look dead and from the past Time defenetly Lost ... Really bizarre yes ,i like it merci from France 👍
I can’t imagine just walking away and leaving all of those belongs! I probably could not even afford one of those sofas shown earlier in the living room. What a waste…. so much beautiful woodwork and crown molding and rails and iron gates and architecture just completely going to ruin. Must be nice to have money to literally throw away.
First I do love the windows but could u imagine if someone was like stalking u . I wouldn’t want to be all open like that. But it’s beautiful and even though it’s abandoned, it’s still up for sale, so I just can’t see why people have to graffiti everywhere and I’m surprised they don’t have security patrolling the area.
@@Livingdeadgirl72local from SoCal no the wealthy appreciate their privacy but if they want that extra layer of security that is where they decide to move into gated communities
I love this video. Super cool. I love the design elements and multi-level floor. According to the article it was built in 2009, but if you factor in planning and concept, it’s probably closer to earlier 2000. Article says he spent 6 years detailing it. It’s Venetian opulence. The only thing I would ding is the kitchen, it was tiny and off to the side. Open concept kitchen has evolved over the years and is currently the modern standard.
What is the pschology behind those squatters, demolishing these lovely houses, they live in for free... even blurring the beautiful view for themselves. I can not own it, so nobody will enjoy this? Something like that??
I believe the ( Cigar ) room would be what the Proper English would call a Library or the Americans would call a Study Also you were showing us Etched glass not stained glass. I like the size of the home but to be honest my uncle had condos in Orange beach Alabama that would rival that place.
Middleton contends he spent $780,000 a year to rent a house on Malibu’s Broad Beach from 2012 to 2016 and that Lee “demanded use of the home” under the threat of losing credits, including allowing Christian Bale to stay there during one Labor Day weekend (Lee was allegedly wooing the star for a project) and using it as a writers room for The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. “When asked to vacate by Roy, John would move his belongings into one closet in the house and temporarily move into a hotel,” says Middleton’s spokesperson, Sallie Hofmeister of Sitrick and Co. “John couldn’t use his own house … without seeking Roy’s authorization.” Is this the same home?
It's sad all of that money celebrities have and they are still miserable and divorce are dead, are dealing with mental issues, this only proves poor people like me can't get any help especially now with inflation
The doors in the master bedroom are etched glass, not stained glass. The etching is what makes part of the glass not see through and makes patterns between plain glass and etched.
I could be mistaken, but that house looks like the one that was built on the land, where the mansion that Sharon Tate lived in when she and her friends were murdered by the Charlie Manson gang, and even after her mansion was demolished, and this house was built this house Was proven to be haunted. I wonder if that’s why this house is not being lived in by regular people and only squatters who have nowhere else to go.
One of the cool things you do that others dont is----- YOu also show whats outside the window in each room.. Like even the bathrooms to show what the view is.. Attention to detail :)
Cool find. I wouldn't necessarily say that the is owned by "a Hollywood celebrity ". Sounds like it was owned by a son of someone who had a done a couple of projects in Hollywood.
ive noticed many of these homes are are being abandoned as though the owner just disappears. most business men would not sink that much money into a property only to leave it unsecured. you would have windows covered doors and entrys locked, you would leave camera security running, you would notify local police department no one should be on property but landscaper. there is more going on that squatters, im guessing there is a tunnel some where on property. makes me think of EO 13818
I left this comment already twice but I suppose I will leave it one more time and stop looking at the comments because so many are equally wondering the same same so here you go: Hi local from SoCal here what this man didn't mention in the video here is the last owner was a doctor who convicted on some sort of fraud charges can't remember exactly what and before they we're able to fully prosecute him the doctor took off and they haven't been able to find him. So I am assuming he is the one who took the safe obviously..
What an extravagant house, but this is definitely not my cup of tea. I wouldn't want my house to feel like a museum, but some of the features of this place would be nice to have like the waterfall but on a smaller scale. The theater I wouldn't want because I don't care for movies. That swimming pool between the walls like that, what the hell were they thinking? Can't put any lawn furniture around there, can barely even walk through there.
WOW what a gem! It's kinda disturbing that someone has that much money that they can let a mega multi million dollar home still with utilities running and let it rot away......as if money grows on tree's! And taxpayers money is used to deal with squatters and not to mention the poor neighbors that prob lose sleep wondering who's coming in & out of that place! Regardless it was a beautiful find❤❤❤
