I actually started watching ballet more for the men than the women. I expect the women to be poised and graceful but, the men caught my attention by exhibiting the same behavior.
@@MsTemptationholy shit you’re explaining what it is to be a woman every day haha, we do the same job, both great, but since it’s expected as a woman to do it right, it’s not impressive anymore, but when men do the same things they captivate haha, same old same old
As a ballerina, I can confirm. “Ballerinas work is as hard as the ground but their movement as soft as petals” -Bonnie Schuetz, the owner of the studio I go to and the most amazing person I know.
@@gracynspencer5208 "Movements of focus and strength tough as the earth, but motions of grace and articulation as soft as the petals that fall to it."
The people who are really talented and skilled have a different judgement scale. They expect perfection and when they don't achieve it they are disappointed.
That one is actually super easy. I mean He did do it very clean, but tecnically it's preety simple. Also he did it more sideways, which is the easier way to do it. So compared to the other moves it's easier.
No, people truly don’t understand the utter athleticism of ballet dancers. Some people do; many do not. One should only just look at their thighs to understand, but many people are tuned out.
Dude. Ballet dancers are this insane combination of incredible strength and control. Precision to the point that it looks delicate and graceful even when the dancer is probably using every muscle simultaneously.
These “ballerini” are the epitome of elegance, delicacy, finesse, grandeur, strength, confidence and total body control par excellence! They dance with supreme skills and maximum uninhibitedness! Their body movements are beyond FLUIDITY! This is sheer professionalism, passion and dedication! ❤️
I can't even walk through the living room without stubbing a toe and there are human beings out there flying with grace and ease like it was second nature.🙏🏻
I’m starting to appreciate men’s ballet. So much strength and skill is required for the moves they do. It is beautiful to watch and it amazes me how high they can jump!
Ah-maze-zing! Bravo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I was a professional ballerina until I was 27. I studied at the Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in dance performance and dance education. That was some Seriously technical, incredible leaps of faith! The self discipline and hours of perfecting… really, really magnificent. Keep going as long as you can. 💃
Im 66. About 20 years ago thete was a Fitness Competition here BBC or ITV cant remember which, here in England between Football players (soccer), Rugby Players, Runners and Male Ballet Dancers. They did everything, fitness, strength etc. The Ballet Dancers swept the Board in everything!!😅😅😅
The 3rd kid is giving Josh Hartnett. His one handed flips were sooo graceful! The first kid defied the laws of logic, gravity, athleticism and all of that stuff. It was amazing! Are folks now not clowning male ballet dancers? Because this is not just art but requires just as much power as throwing a ball, if not more!
The skill, strength and agility needed for these moves! Why can a man be seen as manly as a gymnast but not a ballet dancer? Same goes for guys in cheer!
@@again7pymsI can work on this for years and years and could never be this talented and accomplish this. You need to have some talent in there to begin with. These boys got it!!!!!! 💕
@@again7pymsyes it's definitely years of hard work. But that doesn't mean it isn't talent too, they're not mutually exclusive. I mean, I doubt any of these started out as the most clumsy people you could find. 🙃
I love the sense of athleticism and informal competition with these guys. Formal ballet shows just put me to sleep usually 😅 This was actually fun to watch
@danceislifemusicislifearti1991 Honest answer? The dancers rarely ever take risks that bring something new to the genre. I'm not saying I don't like ballet as an art form, just that it's usually done in a way that I find lacking in variety and deeper emotion. It can be a bit gimmicky. But not to single out ballet, I feel the same about a lot of the top tier belly dancers, and salsa dancers, hip hop dancers, etc 😅
@danceislifemusicislifearti1991 Contemporary is actually my least favorite. There are definitely some gems in the classical American styles, and I'm not opposed to avante garde, but I'm simply more interested in traditional dances like Ugher, Dance Hall and Egyptian baladi. 😅 🙏 lol thanks though and have a great day!
Ballet: creating graceful movements that can only be achieved through training regimen that can rival any martial arts training that involve withstanding tremendous pain. Beauty in strength indeed.
So great to see kids having fun in dance class. Sometimes these things are too serious. Yes, dancers need to be disciplined, but you also need a little "Look what I can do!"
ballet's just so insanely mesmerizing. effortless yet complex. spontaneous yet flowy. painful yet beautiful. :') I love watching ballet. someday, I want to see a performance live!
@@leewangboon8066 as someone in competitive marching band, i fully understand :’) at the same time, i’m certain professional ballet is in an entirely different league from what i’m doing now… i have so much respect for you guys!!
well it's not a sport unless they're competing (in a competition setting, for example). what it is is an incredibly beautiful art form requiring strength, control, discipline, grace, determination, elegance, grit, and a tremendous amount of passion and drive.
I absolutely love love love to see the male ballet dancers. The grace poise and balance flexibility. Just AMAZING. and these guys probably don’t care what their peers think
I admire ballet dancers so much. They’re such strong athletes and yet, at the same time, they’re also so graceful and their movements are beautifully effortless looking🙂
The first guy, I saw the Shen Yun dancers do it and I was in AWE 🤩. I looked up their daily routine and I am ashamed that I can’t even commit to 30 mins of exercise 5 times a week. 😂😂😂
So AMAZING ! , people don’t pay much attention to this talent, we need to see more ! So good this was shared as it will inspire other males and hopefully get some others to have more respect for it 🙌💜
No matter how bad they think they are, they are more graceful at being “bad” at these moves than people simply attempting to copy them. Grace itself is a skill not to be underestimated and they are incredibly talented at it and proving gravity is no obstacle
As a gymnast myself, I think people may undereatimate the level of skill that takes to do that first drill/trick. It is absolutely against all insticts to be on that position. Impressive
